After a wonderful breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park for a full day of wildlife viewing. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, with excellent chances to see lions and other predators alongside plains game.
The lifeblood of the park is the Tarangire River, which draws wildlife year-round and gives the park its name (local lore links it to the words for “river” and “warthog”).
Enjoy varied habitats, sweeping savannas, and classic photo opportunities throughout the day, with a picnic lunch at a scenic spot before continuing your game drive into the afternoon.

Today, your journey takes you through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and onward to the southern reaches of the legendary Serengeti National Park, specifically the Ndutu area.
This region is world-renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration, which unfolds spectacularly from December to March. Vast herds of over 1.2 million wildebeest, joined by more than 300,000 zebras and countless antelopes, gather here to graze on the lush plains. This is also the prime season for wildebeest calving, creating unforgettable moments of new life and dramatic predator encounters. By the end of March, the herds begin their epic movement toward the Serengeti’s northwestern corridor.

After a hearty breakfast, your professional guide will be ready to meet you for the day’s adventure. You’ll travel in a comfortable 4×4 safari jeep to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic two-hour drive from Arusha Airport (ARK). Upon arrival, your guide will provide a short briefing before you begin exploring this remarkable park.
Lake Manyara is renowned for its incredible diversity of over 380 bird species, including flamingos and pelicans. Covering approximately 330 km², with nearly 220 km² of shimmering lake, the park is a haven for wildlife such as elephants, zebras, antelopes, and a wide variety of plant species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while soaking in the natural beauty. After your game drive, continue in the afternoon to Arusha, where you will check in for overnight accommodation at Arusha Farm House, followed by a delicious dinner.
