We had a wonderful trip to Kruger and got to see most of the wildlife we were hoping to see and got as close to most as we would have liked. The amenities were good and didn't interfere with the 'vibe' of feeling like you were in the bush. The park was clean and well kempt.

Kruger is massive and has everything. Staying inside the park really gives visitors a remarkable experience.

An incredible amount of wildlife in a very short amount of time!

We were only in the park for a very short amount of time but ended up seeing so many amazing things! We went on one evening/night safari drive and one all day safari within the park. We entered the park from the Numbi gate and on our all day safari we ended up seeing all of the big 5 along with several other key species of mammals and birds. It was an incredible experience, I just wish we had more time within the park!

The best Self Drive safari !

It was not my first self-drive Kruger National Park visit and it will certainly not be my last! November is usuallly the month of the first rains, new fresh grass and a lof of new-born impalas, that is why we love to go in November. Well not this time however, it had not rained at all , but luckily for the animals and the plants they came later ! However the young impalas were born and we saw many lions, some cheetah, leopards etc etc. Yes we were lucky again as far as the predators are concerned,
But driving around in Kruger NP always makes us happy even when we don't see the big 5 . Because of the different landscapes and the sounds of the bush .
Leave the main roads and sometime you feel that this part of Africa is yours!
Anyway you never have to leave the park to get your necessary supplies. Whatever way you accommodate yourself , camping or self-catering houses or huts you can enjoy the restaurants and have a cold drink while waiting for the sun to set.

Me and my girlfriend did a 3 day tours in Kruger & Blyde River Canyon. We could have use our rental car to go, but we wanted to be with a guide. This ended being a big plus for us since we went during a public holiday, so that park was full. The "open" vehicule for safaris have the privilege to enter first before the opening, so we could enter faster in the park, and you are guaranteed to enter (since they limit the amount of people in the park).

We had a total of 2 guides (Dave and Marc) which were both highly knowledgeable. We got lucky to see all of the animals we were hoping to see! Also had a night safari organized by the camp: this is totally different since you see different animals.

We have great food during our stay, mostly all provided by the agency, knowing we are vegetarian not everyone knows how to provide good food for us, but they did!

What was the nicest thing to me was that locals can go in the park and there are many ways to go and lodge in the park, you don't necessary need a whole lot of money to enter the park!

We had the chance to go on a safari under a beautiful sun! Unfortunately, we did not see any lions and leopards! The rangers have done everything so that we can see them but without success! Despite everything, we could see an extraordinary wildlife and flora. Isaac, our ranger, transmitted us throughout the day, his good mood and his love for nature and his country. Regarding the accommodation, nothing to complain about. The lodges are equipped with outdoor showers that provide an original experience. For an aperitif, I advise to take a bottle of South African rosé at the bar and then go eat in the big covered room next. In our cicuit was scheduled 2 days at Kruger Park but one or two more days would have been fine.

plenty of birds, just not what we came to see. The wildlife was spectacular, very primitive and wild scenery, loved staying in the tent cabins in the park.

All I can say is 10 out of 10. We stayed in Mopani. Everything was working and clean. The stuff was wonderful and friendly. Roads in a good condition, and animal sightings at least twice a day. The staff also assisted with a little personal emergency we had, and everything worked out just fine.

We were picked up at Joburg airport and the journey to Kruger is not short. We went on a 9 seat van that was ok, but the journey is very long and had 3 stops.
At last, we arrive at our lodge and there were hippos bathing in the lake in front and elephants around. There were so many animals... We were so excited that we forgot the long journey in 10 seconds. The swimming pool is essential in the lodge because the heat in the middle of the day is unbearable.
We did a sunset Safari and we saw lots of animals: Impalas, Zebras, Elephants, Rhinos and Hyenas and when it got dark we were the only ones in the road with 2 big flashlights searching for more animals.
In the next day our guide ask us for our expectation, and we ask to go look for the cats. He did it, we saw lions and even a leopard eating an impala and climbing a tree to eat it. It was amazing.
After lunch it was too hot and all the animals were hidden in the bush so I would recommend a morning and afternoon safari if possible instead of an all-day safari.
In the second day it was even more impressing with lions crossing the roads and even a fight between a lion and a lioness 15meters away from us. We saw a one week elephant so clumsy.. And so many other things. We loved it.

South Africa really surprised me in every way: cultural, human and animal life!
The safari experience is an incredible experience that must be experienced by every person in the world ... it is a unique moment where you see up close how the animals live and hunt. It is a trip for all types of travelers: families, couples, seniors!
