The Masai Mara was amazing. The days went so fast and we enjoyed everything from early morning drives to late afternoon. You need a really good driver who knows the area; otherwise, you wouldn't discover enough special places. Even when some places were crowded, Paul knew a route that still gave us more privacy. We also went to Tanzania a few years ago, including the Serengeti. It was beautiful, but we didn't see nearly as much as in the Masai Mara. Kenya is our new favorite. Thanks to Bashan Safaris.

Masai Mara – it’s Kenya’s most popular park, home of the Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras. It’s also where you’ll likely see the most lions and other predators.

Wonderful scenery, plenty of wildlife and not overcrowded as it was low season.

Great place, huge, many animals. We saw lions, buffalo (several millions of these), chita, crocodiles, hippos, wild pigs in many sizes, etc. Very well preserved, magnificent place.

Serengeti is the gold standard.
You can´t really compare those two of course.

The Maasai Mara is simply outstanding. It offers one of the richest wildlife experiences in the world, with frequent sightings of the Big Five and dramatic predator-prey interactions .Every drive feels like a highlight. The density and diversity of animals make it consistently exciting.
