We stopped for a view from the top, looking down in, and thought, "There's nothing down in there." To our surprise, we were blown away by how many animals were there. There was even a beautiful, safe spot to watch hippos and eat our lunch. I still laugh, thinking about the bird who tried to steal our guide's lunch.

At The Ngorongoro crater I could see most of the big Five, but more than the diversity of animals I saw it was the scenic views of this unique spot. Absolutely beautiful

After experiencing Tarangire and Serengeti, you get less exposure to animals. The stand outs were the Rhino and the flamingos

Not all the area is accessible for visitors, so some animals you only see from far...but amazing scenic beauty! And can be lucky and see rhinos, lions etc up close

Ngorongoro Crater — Our Favourite
Ngorongoro Crater was one of the absolute highlights of our Tanzania journey and probably our personal favourite. The scenery is simply breathtaking—the feeling of being inside this enormous natural amphitheatre, surrounded by wildlife and dramatic landscapes, is something we will never forget. We had wonderful wildlife sightings and loved the unique atmosphere of the crater. It felt incredibly special and was definitely one of those places that stayed with us long after we left.

Our safari in Tanzania was honestly a trip we will never forget.
From the moment we arrived, everything was so well organised, and the whole experience was made even more special by our incredible guide. His knowledge, patience and passion for the wildlife really made the safari come alive.
