Ngorongoro Crater — Our Favourite
Ngorongoro Crater was one of the absolute highlights of our Tanzania journey and probably our personal favourite. The scenery is simply breathtaking—the feeling of being inside this enormous natural amphitheatre, surrounded by wildlife and dramatic landscapes, is something we will never forget. We had wonderful wildlife sightings and loved the unique atmosphere of the crater. It felt incredibly special and was definitely one of those places that stayed with us long after we left.

Our safari in Tanzania was honestly a trip we will never forget.
From the moment we arrived, everything was so well organised, and the whole experience was made even more special by our incredible guide. His knowledge, patience and passion for the wildlife really made the safari come alive. We were incredibly lucky to see the Big Five, as well as so many other amazing animals in their natural environment.

Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater is mind-blowing! It’s the world's biggest unbroken volcanic bowl, and because it's enclosed, it holds thousands of animals in one spot. You get gorgeous scenery and a fantastic chance to see the large mammals in a single game drive.

There's lots of wildlife in the crater and lots of it remains there, thanks to difficulties escaping the crater. This leads to lots of in-breeding, particularly among the lions. Lots of tourists so its difficult to imagine it's just you and nature.

It was a beautiful place but when we went it was really cold and couldn’t see a looot of animals, but at least we saw the rhino but too far away
