I don't know why but we expected more wildlife given they are constrained by the crater.

Ngorongoro was the standout location. It's like a well stocked safari park where you are guaranteed to see just about every animal except leopards and giraffe. The early morning drive down into the caldera was a highlight as in the distance the caldera walls were shrouded in cloud, adding an other-worldly atmosphere.

Absolutely stunning scenery. Lions, elephants, rhino, wildebeest, Zebra, hyena, impala.

Best place to safari. Animals over there don’t need to migrate.

The scenery here was so drastically different from the other national parks, it was absolutely breathtaking from the top and bottom of the crater. Very exciting views of black rhinos and hippos from afar. Large variety and sighting of larger birds like the kori bustard, pink backed pelican, spoonbill stork.

Lots of animals to see, particularly lions and elephants. The scenery is spectacular. The crater is the highlight, but there is lots to see all over the park.
