Amazing tour operators that exceeded our expectations in both service and standard!

We had the pleasure to travel to Uganda with Mooi Adventures in March this year. We went on a four day tour including both Schimpanzee and Gorilla trekking as well as Lake Bunyonyi, and it was the most amazing experience! Our guide Shafic made us feel very safe the whole journey and took great care of us. We were quite worried before the trip as we had heard that Uganda was unsafe and we were three young girls traveling alone, but Mooi was very helpful throughout the whole booking process and made us feel very comfortable.

We chose Mooi partly because of this (great service, fast and honest replies to our questions) and partly because of the price that was very competitive compared to other firms. The lodges were of great standard, much better than expected, and the hikes to the monkeys were absolutely incredible. We came much closer to the animals than we expected (but it never felt too much). There is a lot of time in the car as the distances were very long, but it was just great to look out of the window and see all of Uganda.

We would recommend Mooi and Shafic to anyone planning a similar trip! Truly the trip of a lifetime!

Our honeymoon with Mooi Adventures was one of the best decisions we've ever made. From the very first exchange, communication was smooth, responsive and professional - they answered every question thoroughly, honestly and made the planning process genuinely enjoyable.
The 24-day itinerary across Uganda (18 days) and Rwanda (6 days) was masterfully put together: gorilla trekking in Bwindi, chimpanzee tracking, game drives in Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls, mountains hikes and volcanic landscapes in Rwanda. Each day felt purposeful, well-paced and full of wonder.
On the ground, our guide were exceptional: deeply knowledgeable, passionate about wildlife and conservation, and attentive to what we actually wanted from the experience. Transfers, border crossings and accommodation were all handled without a hitch. The lodges were well-selected, striking the right balance between immersion in nature and genuine comfort.
In terms of value for money, Mooi Adventures delivers a premium experience without the inflated price tag of larger operators. You feel the difference immediately : this is a team that cares about the quality of your trip, not just the transaction.
Reliable, warm, expertly organised. We would book with them again for our next East Africa adventure without a second thought. Highly recommended for anyone planning a serious safari or a special trip in this region.

Shafic is a very good man.We enjoy the whole trip.But before traveling to Uganda, I suggest doing some homework so that you can know what you want to see. In short, this is a very reliable travel company!

Had a fabulous safari adventure with Mooi. Their extensive network in Uganda meant that they had access to the best guides, the best lodges, even with short notice changes to the itinerary. They were very flexible to accommodate the diverse wishes of the travel group, had a very informal and warm and approachable style, and made the whole 2-week trip like we were travelling with old friends! Highly recommended.
