Unforgettable Experience with an amazing guide
We booked a 6-day mid-range safari, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish!
Our guide Herman was simply amazing. He spotted animals we would never have dreamed of seeing ourselves and always seemed to know exactly where to look. What impressed us most was his incredible eye for detail, he knew all the hidden spots. On top of that, Herman was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. He took his time to explain everything to us, answered all our questions with endless patience, and made sure we always felt comfortable and well taken care of. Having him as our guide made the entire safari even more special.
The planning and organization were just as fantastic. We planned everything together with Marcelina, who was always available, incredibly responsive, and happy to help with any questions or requests we had. No matter what came up, she always found a solution, suggested alternatives, and was willing to find compromises to make sure everything worked perfectly for us. She also helped us with our onward journey to Zanzibar. The entire process was smooth, stress-free, and wonderfully organized. We always felt that we were in good hands, and everything went exactly as planned.
The accommodation was good throughout our 6-day mid-range safari. Our absolute highlight was staying right inside Serengeti National Park. Being so close to the animals was an incredible experience and something we will never forget.
The accommodations in Arusha were more like typical city hotels, and the bathrooms were not always the best. Sometimes, this also meant there was an unpleasant smell. However, since we only stayed there for one night at a time, it wasn’t a major issue for us and didn’t take away from the overall experience
Another huge plus was the freshly prepared, warm lunch every day! We noticed that many other safari operators provided their guests with packed lunch boxes instead. Having a proper, warm meal during the day made a real difference for us and was something we genuinely appreciated. The food at the hotels was also consistently great throughout our trip.
Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the excellent organization and thoughtful planning to Herman’s outstanding guiding skills and the unforgettable wildlife encounters, everything made this trip truly special. We felt well taken care of every step of the way and would highly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an amazing experience in Tanzania.

Unforgettable 10-Day Kenya & Tanzania Safari
We booked a 10-day private mid-range tour covering Kenya and Tanzania with Meijo Safaris, and our Kenya portion was smoothly handled by their partner, Mara Infinity Safaris. Our group was 6 people in total.
It was a wonderful and unforgettable trip. The landscapes of East Africa were beautiful and unforgettable, and seeing so many amazing animals up close — including the 'Big Five', the 'Ugly Five', cheetahs, leopards and other rare and fascinating species — made the safari truly magical.
Thanks to Leah for her patient and thorough pre-trip support, and to Jacky for clear and efficient communication before and during the trip. They listened carefully, checked options for us, shared information and advice patiently, and really tried to understand what we wanted. And of course Daudi, for his prompt support.
All three guides were warm and friendly, with amazing "eagle eyes" for spotting wildlife, and they were always willing to find a better spot for us to watch and photograph animals and scenery. Herman stood out among them: his deep knowledge and enthusiasm in spotting wildlife were impressive, and we enjoyed interesting conversations with him about Maasai and other local cultures while driving between parks, during transfers, and when passing through towns. He was very experienced, and sometimes he knew how animals would act.
We were also happy with the accommodation. The lodges and tented camps were all clean, comfortable and safe, with friendly staff. Everyday, we had enough hot water for showers. What's more, the unexpected upgrade to an even better property in masai mara was a delightful bonus.
There were a few minor hiccups along the way, but thanks to open communication, everything was properly resolved.

Abdul is a very nice and funny man; he is a very good teacher when it comes to nature and animals.
All in all, a wonderful experience. It was extremely well-organized, with fast communication—everything was completely straightforward. The accommodations were lovely. The game drives with our guide were the highlight; he made every effort to show us everything nature has to offer, and we were truly rewarded. He also taught us a great deal about the natural world and the animals. A truly fantastic experience!

Safari was excellent! Airport pick up and drop off were smooth. We saw all of the big five. The lodgings that Meijo arranged were incredible with Maasai warriors standing guard. When I walked out the front door Zebra were grazing two meters away.
I’m sure that all of the guides are good but Abdul was very helpful and knowledgeable. He knew all of the spots to find hard to find animals like cheetah and leopard so request him as your guide.

He went above and beyond to make our safari special, and thanks to him, we were able to enjoy every moment and even see all of the Big Five. Thank you, Hermann, for these incredible memories! We can recommend him 100% without hesitation.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to Hadija for the excellent organisation. She planned our trip from the office and took care of all the bookings and arrangements. Everything was well prepared, and we really appreciated the effort she put into making our trip such a wonderful experience. Most of the accommodations were absolutely wonderful, each offering something special – whether it was breathtaking views, wildlife right on our doorstep, or exceptionally warm and friendly hospitality. These unique touches made the trip even more memorable and gave us some truly unforgettable experiences.
One small point of criticism concerns the last few hotels. Compared to the previous accommodations, they felt less personal and authentic. For us, this was something we really valued during the safari. Our tip would therefore be: Choose authentic lodges rather than conventional hotels whenever possible! In our opinion, lodges offer a much more personal atmosphere and fit perfectly with the safari experience.
Our conclusion: An incredible journey filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters, breathtaking landscapes, and so many special moments. With Hermann as our guide and Hadija taking care of the organisation, we felt we were in excellent hands throughout the trip.
We would do this safari again in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend both Hermann and Hadija. Thank you both for making this such a special and unforgettable adventure! 🌍
