Amazing Kruger Safari!

This was an amazing trip and extremely worth it! My now finacé (he proposed on the trip!!) and I booked the private 9 day Kruger Sarafi with camping accommodations for Dec 27, 2025 to Jan 4, 2026. Thale was extremely helpful in booking the perfect trip and helped make it unique for us! She helped us book a bird hide for one night, scheduled us both a morning bush walk and a night tour run through the park. Chris was our actual tour guide and he was extremely knowledgable about all the mammals. He worked really hard to get us our target animals as well as all the normal big targets. We were able to see lots of wild dogs, the Big 5 multiple times, the Ugly 5 multiple times, jackals, and some many different bird species. My finacé is a big birder and he wishes we were able to stop more for some of the smaller birds. However, we were still able to see so many birds and when we would ask Chris would stop or backup so that we could get better looks at the bird.

The camping accommodations were spacious and very comfortable. Chris and his assistant would break and teardown the camp for us with us only responsible for packing our personal items. If it rained they were really quick to help us put on the rain fly and seal up the tent to keep us dry. All the campgrounds (minus the bird hide) had electricity, running water, and they provided us with a fan. On top of that the food was delicious! Everything they made and provided was delicious and very accommodating to us being vegetarians!

custom Safari for 7 days, beyond expectations!

We are a family of 4 and wanted to go for a safari in South Africa. I wrote to a few safari tour organizers and Thale was the one who responded with a personalized note. We followed up with her and she organized a customized trip for our family at a very decent price. She sent us all the info we needed to get ready for our experience.
2 guides came to pick us up at the airport and we spend 7 days together. They were just amazing people: professional, kind, funny, knowledgeable. They did everything they could and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience. We saw plenty of animals! We are still talking about the amazing chicken curry they cooked for us. Pictures from our trip are covering the walls of our house. We all have beautiful memories. It was beyond expectations.

Perfect safari experience

At the beginning of November, we went on a three-day private safari with overnight stays at Skukuza Camp in Kruger National Park. The entire organisation and handling with Thale in advance was perfect, and we also received tips on how best to continue our journey in South Africa after the safari.

We received an absolutely all-inclusive package. A transfer service in Johannesburg took us from the airport to Hazyview. There we met our guide Eric and the cook Keygi. We liked them both right from the start and they made us feel that we didn't have to worry or take care of anything. And that's exactly how the next few days went. We were treated to incredibly delicious food and saw fantastic wildlife in the park. Eric has been doing this for almost 20 years and was able to answer all our questions. We saw the Big Five within 1.5 days and much more.

Wild Planet Safari offers an unforgettable experience with its all-inclusive service (transfer, accommodation, game drives and shared meals). We were able to concentrate fully on the animals and nature as we didn't have to worry about anything else. We can only recommend everyone to book a private safari here.
If we ever get the chance to visit this beautiful place again, we will definitely book with Wild Planet Safari again.

It was perfect!

We booked a 4-day safari with Wild Planet, and Eric made it the most wonderful experience. He was a great safari guide, the best cook and we appreciated the time with him very much. He gave us so many great moments and a lot of infomation; we saw the magnificent seven and are just so grateful. After such intense and wonderful days together, it was really hard to say goodbye. But we will come back, and in the meantime, we will recommend Wild Planet Safari (with Eric) to all our friends. Thank you so much for this incredible experience, Eric. We are glad to have met you.
