Communication with the travel agency through Josua was smooth and precise. The 3 treks we did around Gombe with our guide Said were amazing. You couldn't ask for more. Said is a very professional, friendly, and fun person, and he is always making sure you are comfortable. In short, this company is highly recommended.

Excellent communication, as soon their were questions they answered immediately, our guide Eliatosha Nicardo provided for everything we needed and made sure we are always satisfied, he knew so much about the jungle, the animals and the hole ecosystem in the forest that you were able to listen to him and his story’s for hours. His English was very good and he also helped a lot as translater for people which couldn’t talk as good as he did. I would 100% recommend him and should always go with him again.

It was a very good experience to see Schimpanse so near in wildlife. Already the hike in the forest is amazing. And even the boat trip over Tanganjika lake is an experience.
Everything was very well organized.
Tented camp was nice, food was excellent and our guide Elitosha was so helpful!!!

I have to thank Gombe Wild Chimp Safari for making a dream come true: seeing chimpanzees in their natural habitat.

If you love chimpanzees and nature in general, this is an experience not to be missed.

As for the agency, I must say they are truly professional, friendly, and helpful. They assisted me from start to finish: they picked me up at the airport, despite my flight arriving at dawn, took me to breakfast (kindly provided) in a wonderful spot overlooking Lake Tanganyika, and then accompanied me to the port where the adventure began. On the way back, they were waiting for me at the port and accompanied me to the bus stop. Oh, and they also helped me buy the bus ticket and made sure I reached my destination. They are truly impeccable.

Regarding the two-day trek, after a two-hour boat ride on Lake Tanganyika, you reach a facility where you check in (access to the park is limited) and then begin the trek. The treks are conducted in small groups, with dedicated and friendly guides. The encounter takes place in the wild, with specific guidelines (masks, 10-meter social distancing, etc.) to protect the chimpanzees' health. It was AMAZING. The tour includes all meals (local cuisine) and accommodations (very basic rooms; don't expect a five-star hotel, but everything you need is there). I recommend visiting Jane Goodall's house and bringing a swimsuit for swimming in the lake.
