Efficient, helpful, attentive, experienced, knowledgeable, expert, friendly, great value
We think this is the best 11 day holiday we have ever experienced, and we have travelled extensively. Booking the holiday was so easy, with the help of the team at Spirit of Kenya, who were efficient and always on hand, prividing lots of options to tailor the trip to our specific requirements. The Safari was outstanding; our guide was amazing, skilled and attentive. He continually checked he was meeting our needs and that we were comfortable. We saw 'the big 5 ' and more due to Michael's expertise in managing the game drives. The hotels recommended and booked by Spirit of Kenya were all excellent as were the extra activities we chose to add on to make the trip even more special. All rounded off by a lovely few days by the beach in Diani.

Our safari with Spirit of Kenya was absolutely unforgettable. From the start, Francisco and online team did a wonderful job organizing the trip, keeping me informed, and answering every question in a timely and professional manner. From airport pickup to departure drop, everything worked like clockwork. On the ground, our guides Dickson and Nicholas were outstanding—always punctual, endlessly patient, and filled with knowledge. Whether it was scanning the horizon for that elusive rhino or spotting a puff adder, they made every sighting special and memorable.
Spirit of Kenya booked us 2 days at Kicheche camp at Mara North Conservancy, there, Andrew and the local team took the time to explain how sustainable tourism is being practiced across the conservancies, ensuring that people and wildlife can thrive together. This deeper understanding made our experience so much richer—it wasn’t just about seeing the animals, but truly appreciating the balance of nature and community working hand in hand.

Professional and excellent!
We had a trip of a lifetime travelling with Spirit of Kenya in July. We picked the Off the Beaten Path itinerary. Victor helped with our planning and he was very responsive and clear throughout, including with accommodation options, pricing and in response to our questions. Our guide, Dominic, was wonderful too. He was experienced and knowledgeable, attentive to our needs and was a skilful and safe driver. Everything was smooth from start to finish. We saw lots of animals over the six-day trip. Thank you Spirit of Kenya! Highly recommended!

Excellent tour operator that will tailor your trip according to your desires
We spent 2 days in the Masai Mara and 1 1/2 days at Lake Nakuru. You will be able to capture the African Big five here. The tour was incredible and we saw an abundance of wildlife. Unfortunately, the wildebeest were not traversing the Mara River while we were there, but it is a hit or miss event. Our guide made sure we viewed plenty of wildlife. Spirit of Kenya tailored the tour to our personal level of comfort and the accommodations were spot on. I, personally, am a photographer and highly recommend renting the open sided land cruiser. The correspondence with S of K was excellent and thorough. Reserve your safari as far in advance as possible (A year ahead or even further), especially if you are going during the peak season.

Amazing professionals !
Myself and my family had an amazing time at our safari ! The operator Spirit of Kenya made sure to have everything planned for a smooth trip , we chose to stay at Zebra plains where it was very fine , clean good food and happy helpful stuff. Most of the credit should go to our driver Thomas where firstly he was an amazing driver ( extremely important when you drive along the country ) , then Thomas made sure that we get to see all animals possible (of course all great 5) with an amazing first seat close view !!! Also Thomas had a great knowledge of the animals adding to this unforgettable experience! Would definitely recommend Spirit of Kenya to anyone possible but would also make sure to ask for Thomas for a guaranteed experience!!
