Bucket List Adventure
From the start of arranging this trip to the arrival back home, Alex made everything so very easy for my Aunt and myself. We had three amazing drivers, Gona, Mustafa and Amani, all very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The vehicles were clean and well maintained, there was always water on offer and all accommodation was amazing with a combination of lodge and glamping. We got to see the Big 5 and more and our guides made sure they put a huge effort to ensure our trip was everything that was promised to us. This has been the holiday of a lifetime and our deepest thanks to Alex and all our guides for giving me a lifetime of wonderful memories. I highly recommend Mama Savana.

In a word, it was the best memory ever for me. Our guide, Amani-san, was professional and perfect.
True to his name (Amani means Peace in Swahili), thanks to him, I was always able to spend peaceful and enjoyable times. He was knowledgeable about animal ecosystems and had an amazing ability to spot animals. He never missed a meeting time and responded immediately whenever we encountered any issues.
We traveled on some quite rough roads in places like the Maasai Mara, but the vehicles were well-maintained and we completed the entire journey without any problems.
Mama Savana, Amani-san, you were truly the best.

Ver professional and comfortable experience
We took the 7 days Safari from Kenia to Tanzania (Lake Nakuru, Masaai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro). We booked the mid-range comfortable level and we were two women. We found the experience highly professional, very comfortable and valuable. In Kenia our driver was Kombo. He was quite knowledgable about the animals, the parks, the roads and of course, his culture. We had a lot of fun with him and we think he was extremely professional and helpful. He helped us claiming back some money that was extra charged for us in an optional activity. Kombo was super careful by having the car very clean and with enough gas every morning before starting our ride. He made sure that we had fresh drinks every day and took over the details of the trip. In Tanzania our driver was Elia. Also quite knowledgable, kind and professional. The lodges that we stayed in were really comfortable and nice. The food was good, we never had problems with its quality and we didnt really nee to bring extra snacks. Everyone was kind to us and we cannot recommend enough this company. We made contact with them through this website and then Alex contacted us with a quote via Email. We paid a part of it in advance via bank transfer and when we arrived to Nairobi (the starting point), we paid the rest. Advice: Bring cash, because if you pay via the link that they provide, it charges you an extra fee.

Simply Amazing Wildlife, scenery, people, and experience!
This is our first time in Safari and my friend and I (two girls) went on 10 days Safari from Kenya to Tanzania with Mama Savana, and then ended the tour in Tanzania Arusha to fly off to Zanzibar ourselves.
The stays were all wonderful and high praises for all our tour guides from Kenya and Tanzania as they were amazing, well experienced, super good drivers (we thoroughly experienced African Massage while we were in the jeeps), and have such incredible eyes to spot animals! There were multiple times when they pointed to animals that we didn't notice, but thanks to that, we were able to catch all the big 5 & big cats + their babies, all of the antelope family, hyenas, jackals, and wart hogs (the list goes on) hidden or approaching from super far away, many eventually got close enough for some clear pictures through our phones.
Our Kenya tour guide, Amani, was just pure fun to be with, and knew the animals and area very well. He told us many fun facts about animals and we learned a lot while we were touring. He was also very dedicated for us to see the most of everything, and we managed to catch all big 5 and cheetahs while we were in Kenya! Our car once got stuck in a mud pit and Amani along with fellow tour guides in Maasai Mara worked as a team and got us out, me and my friend were not worried one bit since we knew they would be able to handle it (to be honest it was quite fun to watch).
Our Tanzania tour guide Abu (and Paul for the last day) was very knowledgeable too, and explained animal behaviors and migration patterns to us. He was very nice and patient throughout the trip,
This trip was purely incredible and many thanks to Mama Savana for bringing this amazing experience to us and taking care of us so well! I hope we could go to Kenya and Tanzania again soon since I am already missing it very much.
