Exceptional, knowledgable, experienced
We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris and cannot recommend them highly enough. Visiting from Ireland, my husband and I booked a two-day safari, a Panorama Route tour, and a visit to Elephant Whispers. Elephant Herd put together a customised package for us and every single part of the trip exceeded our expectations.
The whole team (especially Brendon and Rene) are incredibly efficient, responsive, organised and genuinely friendly. From the very first contact, everything was seamless and stress-free, which made us feel completely at ease travelling so far from home.
Our safari guide, Trevor, was exceptional. His knowledge, experience, and passion for wildlife truly enhanced the entire safari experience. He was also incredibly friendly and made every game drive both informative and enjoyable. We were lucky enough to see all of the 'Magnificent Seven' as well as so many other animals and birds.
Despite unexpected flooding and heavy rainfall during our stay, Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris were impressively adaptable and flexible, always prioritising our safety while still ensuring we had an unforgettable experience. Even with the challenging conditions, the safari was absolutely amazing.
The value for money is excellent. We loved every moment of our time with Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning a holiday in South Africa. A truly first-class experience from start to finish.

We were driven around by Steyn, a very kind and enthusiastic young man. It was a birthday from one of us, and we had a private tour. Steyn committed all he had to helping us see the lions. On the way, he gave all sorts of information on the animals and it was clear he loves his job. Of course, we were lucky to see as many animals as we did, but Steyn made it unforgettable!

They were always punctual, extremely well organized, and genuinely caring. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, warm, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the journey.
The places they chose for us to stay were absolutely magnificent, beautiful hotels and lodges that elevated the entire experience and made each day feel special and memorable.
One detail that truly touched us was how personal the service felt. Our tour coordinator even took the time to visit us at our hotel to meet us in person, which speaks volumes about how much they care about their guests and the experience they provide.

Kruger Park Safari, Panorama route, zip lining over the Jungle and elephant whisper
My husband and I had a great experience all around with our guide Trevor who knows a lot and willing to tell and share. He was great craick and also able to give us time and space to discover for our selves. He picked us up in Hoedspriut where we had visited a private game park for a few days and he drove us on a whole day Panorama Route sightseeing with amazing scenery! The next day we went ziplining over the jungle- very exciting! and afterwards we went to the also exciting and amazing Elephant whisper encounter in Hazy view. The day after we went for a full day safari in Kruger park and spotted all the big 5 and many more, even cheetas! Elephant heard was able to taylor make our Itinarary and we stayed in 2 different places- both great! We definitly recomend Elephant Heard to others :-) :-)
Excellent Service and Guidance
Good value for money. Very knowledgeable and friendly drivers and guides. The lady at the reception at Kruger Park Lodge for Elephant Herd was very helpful and helped arranged other tours as well. Definitely worth the money!!
