An Amazing Experience from Start to Finish
I originally contacted 3 companies for a safari quote and Serengeti African Tours responded immediately. They provided an itinerary to suit my timetable and budget. Inviolata became my point of contact and has answered so many questions prior to booking the safari and after booking until I arrived in Tanzania. As I had free time in Arusha before and after the safari Inviolata also arranged a day trip to the Materuni Waterfalls and an Arusha City tour. The package included airport pick up and drop off. Eli picked me up at the airport and took me to the accommodation in Arusha organised by Inviolata. Eli also drove me on both the day trips and back to the airport at the end of the trip. Eli was a careful driver and answered any questions. He even stopped on the way back to the airport to let me take pictures of Kilimanjaro! For the safari the guide was Bahayo. He picked me up on time from Arusha and looked after me and the other 5 travellers for the next 5 days. He was an amazing guide that tried very hard to locate the animals over the 5 days and allowed us ample time to view them and photograph them. We managed to see the Big Five and so much more though Bahayo’s determination and hard work. He drove everyone to different accommodation at the end of each day and always picked us up on time the following day. We also had a chef Richard who made us a delicious lunch everyday. All the accomodation selected by Inviolata was amazing and all of the food delicious. The staff at each place I stayed at were all friendly and helpful.
I thoroughly enjoyed my safari from beginning to end and would definitely recommend Serengeti African Tours. Thank you to you all for an amazing experience!

Perfect
We had an unforgettable tour through Tanzania's beautiful nature and thanks to our guide Mathayo who did his absolute best to show and explain us everything, we got to see the Big Five (plus so much more).
We even had free transfers on the days before and after the safari and did not have to worry about anything during the tour. Everyone that we met was incredibly kind and helpful.

An experience we will remember
I think we found the best tour operator: the cheapest, great guide (thank you Mathayo for all the informations about the wildlife and the parks) , great food and souvenirs we will remember
Maybe a little bit more communication before the safari and everything would be perfect

unique adventure with our Guides "King David" and "Gregory"
+ Beautiful and adventurous accommodations
+ Delicious food and nice lunch break ideas (thanks to our guides)
+ Our experienced and funny guides "King David" (English and French) and "Gregory" (English and German)
We experienced an incredible week. We are a family, whereas all of us are adults already.
Our skilled driver/guide King David navigated the maze of the Serengeti and the sometimes bumpy roads of the whole tour perfectly. With his knowledge of the entire area, we spotted all kinds of animals and always got the right angle for a perfect picture.
As some members of our group didn't understand English, we also booked a German-speaking guide: Gregory (translator/guide). With his excellent German skills, he made sure that none of our questions went unanswered. His thoroughness and personal dedication to satisfying our curiosity made us feel comfortable asking even the silliest questions — and not one of them went unanswered.
Both of them have extensive knowledge of all kinds of animals, birds, and even some trees and plants. And if there was ever something they didn't know, they were eager to research it and answer the question later.
With these two wonderful guides, we had the perfect travel companions for a week of adventure, amazement, laughter, and bliss. Thanks to their expertise, we managed to see all of the Big Five and everything else we could have ever dreamed of — including many baby animals.
Thanks to them, our safari will always be a uniquely memorable experience.

Unforgettable Safari with Gregory and King David
It is hard to put into words just how incredibly wonderful this safari was. From the very first moment, our two guides, Gregory and King David, made us feel welcome, comfortable, and exceptionally well looked after.
Gregory impressed us with his extensive knowledge and outstanding command of the German language. He not only taught us about the wildlife but also shared fascinating insights into the plants, culture, different tribes, and everyday life in Tanzania. This made the safari so much more than just a wildlife experience—it became a fascinating journey into the country and its people. His German is particularly remarkable; even highly specialized terms were translated or explained with ease. He answered every question thoroughly and patiently, and whenever necessary, he could consult with King David and perfectly convey his many years of expertise in German.
King David is, without a doubt, the best driver and guide one could wish for. With more than ten years of experience as a safari guide, he possesses an incredible wealth of knowledge and, with his eagle eyes, managed to spot even the most hidden animals. At the same time, he always drove safely and maintained a cheerful attitude throughout the trip. His language skills are equally impressive: besides English, French, and Swahili, he speaks numerous Tanzanian tribal languages. We simply could not have imagined a better guide.
The organization was flawless as well. All park entries, breaks, and lunches were perfectly planned—even a lunch served directly at the jeep was arranged for us. For us, six days was the perfect length for the safari. The route through Tarangire, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara was ideal. Our recommendation: definitely spend two nights in the Serengeti!
All of the accommodations were outstanding. At Land of Nature Camp, we could even hear lions roaring at night—an unforgettable experience. Every day brought a new highlight. We created memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. Saying goodbye was incredibly difficult because, over those six days, our guides became our friends.
We already miss Gregory and King David and can wholeheartedly recommend this safari. Anyone who truly wants to experience Tanzania and enjoy an unforgettable safari will be in the very best hands here.
