Sekanka Safaris founded in 2014 is a citizen-owned mobile safari company originating and based in Maun, Botswana_ within the fimbriae of the unique world-renowned Okavango Delta. The founding team members were born and raised in Maun and Kasane and growing up they knew no other source of employment other than the widespread bush camps, lodges and mobile safaris. After more than 25 years of garnering experience in this industry, it is our pleasure to show you our HOME with great authenticity!

Reliable and helpful
Normally, I do not write reviews. However, Sekanka was exceptionally good and our expectations were more than fulfilled. We Sam lots of games, had more game drives than expected, good food and last not least a reasonable price. Ten out of ten points.

Fantastic organisation!
From day one, the communication with Anna was friendly, efficient and extremely helpful! She really went the extra mile to tailor the trip to what we wanted to do. She also helped out when we had a problem with our flight at the end of the trip.
The activities throughout the trip were excellent... Read more and provided a great range of experiences, from game drives to a scenic flight, canoe ride and meeting the meerkats!
The accommodation along the way was lovely, food was good and we were well taken care of. The transfers provided were safe and comfortable.
We had a great time on our safari trip and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sekanka Tours.

Traveling with locals
My 9 year old daughter and I just got back from a 5 Night Mobile Safari and absolutely loved it! 5 Lion Sightings, our Lion Count was 24! We also loved the boat trips. We had no rain (despite traveling end of the rainy season), hardly seen any other cars. Its been raw and wild and wonderful! We miss... Read more our bucket shower! We had one issue while traveling - which was immediately sorted out. Communication in general has been amazing.
The guide was great. The chef fantastic.
Thanks to the whole team that made this journey unforgettable! Vic Falls were also amazing! Just the perfect end to our travels. We will come back with the rest of the family!
Organised, helpful and unique.
We travelled as a group of 6 (four teenagers and 2 adults) from Maun, Botswana to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe over 11 days. From my first inquiry to our departure from the tour, Sekanka were incredible. Any requests or questions were handled promptly and professionally. We all loved every experience provided and it was so nice to meet and talk to different guides along the way. We cannot recommend Sekanka enough. If you are thinking of using them, do it, they will not disappoint, it was a truly magical experience from start to finish.

We used Sekanka for our trip to Victoria Falls and Botswana! Before we left they were easy to reach and answered all our questions! During the trip the service were great! We got to see a lot of animals even though it was rainy season! Would definitely choose Sekanka again!
