Unforgettable trip, amazing company
Our safari in Tanzania was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and Safari Soles made it absolutely perfect since the very beginning.
We must say that we booked only 2 days in advance, since we should have been in another country where war is taking place and our top was canceled. Despite they only have two days to manage our entire trip, they made it incredibly well organized, and every detail was taken care of with professionalism and care.
The safari anctually exceeded all our expectations. Our guide, kelvin, was simply amazing. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about wildlife and nature. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to see an amazing variety of animals, including the Big Five, while learning so much about the parks, the ecosystem, and the local culture. He always made sure we were in the best spots for wildlife viewing and he always made us feel The accommodations selected for us were fantastic—comfortable, well located, and perfectly integrated into the natural environment.
We should also say that our safari took place during the rainy season and even mud could not stop our amazing guide.
Every transfer and activity was smoothly organized, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the experience.
What really stood out was the personal attention and care throughout the journey. We always felt safe, welcomed, and well taken care of.
Tanzania is a magical destination, and this agency made our safari truly unforgettable. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a well-organized, authentic, and memorable safari experience.
Amazing experience 10/10
We booked our Serengeti safari with Safari Soles, and we honestly can’t recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, everything was absolutely seamless. They organised our accommodation, flights into the Serengeti, the flight to Zanzibar, all transfers, and, most importantly, they provided us with the best tour guide imaginable – Shengana – who made our safari unforgettable.
Every question we had was answered promptly, helpfully, and with a friendly manner. Jamal, who we were in contact with, was fantastic – informative, patient, and always quick to reply. The entire package felt brilliantly organised and great value for money.
Thanks to Safari Soles, we literally had the best time of our lives. From start to finish, it was smooth, professional, and absolutely enjoyable. We couldn’t recommend them enough – they are a trustworthy, brilliant company to book your Serengeti safari with.

Efficient and responsive; helpful and great to work with
It was brilliant. I was able to personalise the safari and then each day we chose how long we looked for wildlife. I cannot commend our guide Oscar too highly - he was articulate, knowledgeable regarding the animals, and he also had an extensive knowledge of birds. He was completely flexible - responding to our requests with courtesy and a smile every time. It was a pleasure spending two weeks with him as our guide. With him as our guide we saw the Big 5 and much much more. Totally reliable and trustworthy. Great value for money.

Very professional organization and terrific guide
Our three-day safari (Zanzibar - Serengeti - Ngorongoro - Zanzibar) with Safari Soles was fantastic! Everything was seamless from start to finish. Our guide Raymond was terrific - knowledgeable, easy-going, and great with our 9-year-old son. As it was March there was some rain, but it didn't dampen our trip. We enjoyed the birds and the lush green scenery and saw an amazing number of animals: Herds of wildebeest and zebra, large groups of elephants and hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, rhinos.... Good communications with the company, excellent accommodations, and again a great guide in Raymond. We requested quotes from a few companies, and they were very competitively priced.

Good experience, but expected better organization for $6,000+
We did a 9-day trip with Safari Soles. Overall, we enjoyed the trip because Tanzania’s wildlife never disappoints—we saw everything, the Big 5 and the Ugly 5. But honestly, if we had gone with any other company, the wildlife part would have been the same. The difference is the service, and for the money we spent (over $6,000), there were too many "hiccups" that really bothered us.
Guide : First, the guide situation felt like a total last-minute decision. We saw reviews mentioning specific guides, but we were assigned a freelancer with no info given to us beforehand. When we met him, he was very quiet. For the first 2 days, we had to ask him for info instead of him telling us. By the end of the trip, we actually became very good friends and he was a great driver/knowledgeable, but when you pay this much, you expect more from day one, not someone you have to warm up for days.
We talked about it to Safari Soles on very first day, they said they'd talk to management. But we're already deep in the parks for 3 days, so there's nothing they can actually do at that point. We just had to accept it and make the best of it which we did eventually.
Food: We told them multiple times "no beef, no pork," but we were still served beef. The guide/lodges clearly weren't informed properly.
Hotel : During the initial discussion we were proposed a booking for Serengeti Safari Haven, but then the company told us there was some "confusion" about availability and moved us to Tukaone Camps instead.
Accommodation Quality: One of our stays (supposed to be mid-range) was the worst night ever. No AC, no fan, and full of mosquitoes. We couldn't sleep at all. At another hotel, they didn't even have our booking on file when we arrived. They don't actually check these places out, or they know they're bad and book them anyway because they're cheap.
Transport: On our day trip to Kilimanjaro, they sent a car with AC not working. We were driving on broken, dusty roads with windows open in the heat.
Overall, the management is nice and very reactive when things go wrong, but these small things add up. When you spend this kind of money, you don't expect to deal with basic issues like booking errors or hot cars. We left wondering if we should have booked with a different operator.
