An Unforgettable Safari Experience in Tanzania 🐘 Serengeti & Ngorongoro
If you are looking for an extraordinary and seamless safari experience in Tanzania, this company is hands down the absolute best choice! We did our safari in Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, and the entire journey exceeded our expectations in every possible way.
The Vehicle & Setup
The safari vehicles were top-notch—incredibly clean, well-maintained, and extremely comfortable for long game drives. A huge bonus was the excellent built-in fridge, which kept our drinks ice-cold throughout the heat of the day.
Trip Coordinator — Jeremiah
A massive shoutout to Jeremiah, who organized and coordinated everything seamlessly. He was remarkably respectful, professional, and genuinely helpful from day one. He went above and beyond to secure the best lodges and accommodations at competitive prices, and his lightning-fast response times gave us complete peace of mind throughout the entire process.
Our Driver & Guide — Tuma
As for our driver, Tuma, calling him fantastic would be an understatement! With over 20 years of experience, his expertise shines through completely:
He knew the best spots to position us for iconic photos and breathtaking views.
He consistently picked prime locations for spotting wildlife up close.
He was exceptionally polite, highly punctual, and paid meticulous attention to every small detail to keep us comfortable.

Our trip with Serengeti Smile was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! From start to finish, every detail was handled with precision, care, and warm Tanzanian hospitality (Karibu!).
​A massive shout-out to our safari coordinator, Godian. Right from the planning stage, Godian was exceptionally responsive, professional, and thorough. He organized a seamless itinerary, answered all of our questions promptly, and ensured every logistical detail was taken care of long before we even arrived. Knowing we were in such capable hands made the entire process completely stress-free.
​Out on the plains, our driver and guide, Issa was absolute perfection. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, animal behavior, and local ecosystems blew us away. His uncanny ability to spot wildlife hidden in the distance made every game drive feel like an exciting treasure hunt. Beyond his expertise, Issa was incredibly patient, courteous, and a true pleasure to spend time with. He navigated the rugged terrain smoothly and made sure we always had the best front-row seats to nature’s greatest show.

We had a very enjoyable safari and Serengeti Smile helped us plan the whole itinerary in a way that met our interests and priorities. The cost was also very reasonable and overall value was better than other operators we had considered.

Patricia who was our main contact through the planning process and during the journey was just so helpful, detail oriented and so timely with her responses to any questions and concerns we had. It's hard to beat the service she provided!

Kazi, our guide, was super knowledgeable and experienced. He paid attention to our priorities and we got to see pretty much all the animals we had hoped to see...the wildebeest crossing on Northern seengeti and the white rhinos in Ngorongoro Crater were probably the biggest higlights! Kazi also regaled us with various stories from his 15+ years of experience. He was also able to navigate through various car issues we encountered.

Perhaps one thing we would change about our itinerary is to skip Tarongire park and spend an extra day in Serengeti instead.

Overall, we highly recommend Serengeti Smile to anyone looking to plan safari in Tanzania!

Our guide, Deo, was absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and always attentive to our needs. He listened to what we were hoping to see and made every effort to give us the best possible experience.
