Phenomenal! Very professional and organized!!
I traveled to South Africa, to Kruger National Park, mainly to see the African wild dog or painted dog. I knew beforehand that this animal is not easy to spot. However, with the help of my very talented naturalist from this tour operator - Shadrack is his name - I was able to spot my dream animal! I also saw four out of the five big five animals, with the exception of the leopard, which can be quite elusive. I would very, very highly recommend this tour operator. Everything was very seamlessly organized and the level of professionalism was unmatched. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, very cozy, and the staff are wonderful. I also enjoyed the food very much, my room was very comfortable, there’s a pool that you can swim in, and the landscaping of the lodge is serene. I would highly recommend this tour operator for anyone planning to visit South Africa/Kruger.
The best holiday of our lives
We had the most wonderful experience with The Kruger Safari Co & Nkhoro Bush Lodge. From the outset, the booking was very easy, everything was well organised and Wayne was very helpful and communicative. The lodge was a dream come true - we saw the big five within the first 24hrs, we had dinner under the stars, the facilities were excellent & the room was very luxurious and comfortable. The staff at Nkhoro were so wonderful - they treated us like family and we miss them so much! A huge shout out to our Guide Pieter and our tracker Chris, they were so skilled and knowledgeable and they really enhanced the experience for us. It was a life changing trip and we can’t wait to go back.

An adventure to Remember!
Our stay in Green Fire Lodge was a very special experience. From the start logistics with Kruger Safari Co. were handled professionally and efficiently. Everything worked as planned, without surprise issues to deal with.
At the lodge, the staff was very welcoming with nice touches throughout the day. The meals were delicious, often with multiple courses. Our individual cabin had a lovely view of the river bed with elephants sometimes congregating just near our balcony.
We had two excursions per day, and were surprised that it was a real adventure! Animals were often not waiting to entertain us, but our expert guide/driver Victor, had to do some tracking to locate them in their natural settings. He was entertaining, informative and accommodating. While maneuvering through the bumpy bush roads, he quipped that we’re being treated to a free “African massage!”
This Reserve is not highly populated so it felt like we honoured the area as the animals’ home. It certainly gave us more respect for the Earth we share and how we should preserve as much of it as we can in its natural state. All around it was a wonderful experience!

Very attentive!
The experience was seamless from end to end. I reached out about booking a tour last minute and the team was very responsive, providing us with several options to fit our group needs. A few additional friends joined last minute and the team was great about accommodating them at short notice. The logistics to arrive to the Kruger were well run and the glamping site was lovely - quality food, service and the beds were super comfortable. We managed to see the safari big 5 throughout the weekend which was a massive highlight!
