An Unforgettable 15-Day Southern African Journey with Africa Zim Travel

We have just completed an incredible 15-day private tour from Windhoek, Namibia, to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, organised by Africa Zim Travel & Tours. It was a truly memorable journey through Namibia and Botswana, ending at the magnificent Victoria Falls.

The itinerary was exceptionally well designed, giving us a wonderful combination of deserts, wildlife, rivers, national parks and spectacular natural scenery. Over 15 days, we travelled through Windhoek, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland, Etosha National Park, the Okavango River, the Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls.

What impressed us most about Africa Zim Travel was the organisation and smooth execution of the entire journey. Despite the enormous distances involved and travelling through different countries and environments, everything worked remarkably well.

The combination of a carefully planned itinerary, excellent accommodation, private transportation, safari activities and a dedicated driver-guide made the trip very comfortable and enjoyable. The itinerary also gave us enough variety that every few days brought a completely different landscape and experience.

We would like to give a special thanks to driver cum guide Thobias. His professionalism, safe driving, good humour, patience and knowledge made a significant contribution to our enjoyment of the trip. Spending so many days together on the road, we could not have asked for a better driver and companion.

Thank you to Pamela and the entire Africa Zim Travel & Tours team for organising such a wonderful adventure. chosen, but a few stood out particularly for us.

Chobe Safari Lodge was superb, especially because of its beautiful location on the banks of the Chobe River, surrounded by wildlife and birdlife.

Etosha Safari Lodge was another favourite. The lodge was comfortable, spacious and beautifully situated just outside Etosha National Park, making it an excellent base for our safari.

We also particularly enjoyed our stay in Swakopmund. The Delight Swakopmund was comfortable, centrally located and provided an excellent base for exploring the town.

Better than expected

We were stunned to realise we had a private tour. Just the 2 of us and our guide, Charity. We spent 8 days being chauffeured around and taken to some of the beast eateries in the evenings. Charity knew them everywhere we went.

Can't say enough about Charity. She was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Anything we wanted to do, she was more than happy to help arrange. Her recommendations for dining were superb and her local knowledge amazing. We learnt so much from her.

Would definitely recommend Africa Zim to anyone considering Zimbabwe and Botswana and we would absolutely use them for another tour.

Expert travel agency - great private tours arranged for fair price

We used Africa Zim for a recent holiday and they are very credible. They arranged private tours and guides for my family with good flexibility and great service. They helped us through any small issues and guided our border crossings and provided local recommendations for food and visits. I liked Kudzie our private guide and recommend you ask for him. You will be very safe and at ease with their service. I was surprised at how safe the experience was, far safer than my home city in the Midwest America. And the animals you will see are beyond the imagination our guide helped spot lion cubs and their mother, rhinos in Zambia, herds of elephants and hippos. You will fall in love with Africa and in love with this travel agency.

We had an incredible time with Africa Zim team they arranged a perfectly scheduled and rich experience for us. Our family of 6 including a 10 yr and 16 yr old had the most magical adventure we always dreamed of. Pamela and Sharon worked closely with us to schedule the trip and delightful and our driver & tour guide Kudzie was kind and very competent. We went to local places and the tourist highlights. Chobe visit could easily be 2-3 days with the land and boat safari, Hwange was further but my favorite as it was even more of a local destination. Go to Miombo safari lodge in Hwange and you will love the more rustic and local safari - Tok is the best guide. I can’t say enough about Africa Zim team but they are trusted and very efficient and kind.

This was truly the trip of a lifetime, thanks to Africazim. Every aspect of the journey was exceptionally well organized, from the itinerary to the logistics. Our trip lasted approximately 15 days, starting in Windhoek and ending at Victoria Falls. Throughout the trip, the team at Africazim remained remarkably flexible in accommodating our requests and adapting plans whenever needed. Communication was always prompt, and their advice before and during the trip was thoughtful, practical, and invaluable. Namibia's spectacular dunes were among the highlights of our journey. We especially loved the accomodation at Desert Grace and Mokuti Etosha Lodges, both of which exceeded our expectations. Above all, our local guide and driver made the experience unforgettable. His professionalism, extensive knowledge of wildlife, local traditions, and way of life, together with his warm personality and impeccable driving, enriched every day of our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend Africazim to anyone looking for an unforgettable African adventure.
