Safari with friends!
To start the communication with Silas was outstanding. And we sent him ALOT of emails. He did everything we asked for. We asked for open jeeps while in the parks which cost extra, we only received it once, after we returned home we received our refund quickly. And it wasn't a big deal in the end having the jeeps with windows that open and the top opens. Every lodge, hotel, camp we stayed were fantastic. Drivers were great they went out of their way to show us all the big 5 and more. Lunch out in the parks was fun. We also included Uganda for the gorillas and that went off with out a hitch and rewarding. Nothing to do with this company BUT the hike to see the gorillas STEEP and rewarding.
Exceptional customer service
An amazing tour! The itinerary was well planned by Janet starting with elephants and stunning views of Mt Kilimanjaro at Amboseli, a walking safari getting up close to zebras and giraffes at Lake Naivasha, rhinos and flamingoes at Lake Nakuru, finishing off with the big cats and great migration at Maasai Mara. Songe our guide and driver was great to deal with and knew exactly where to go for the best sightings, he even managed to get us an amazing view of a leopard up close and a mother cheetah with her cubs. The Sopa lodges and Lake Nakuru lodge were superb with stunning views and wonderful customer service. I would highly recommend the tour and operators!
A great safari that I highly recommend
Our tour guide, Songe, knows how to find the best places to see the animals. Our contact, Janet, was very helpful on arranging the safari. Accommodation was excellent, with great food. We saw all the animals on our list, including those that are hard to find. We had a wonderful time.

We had the most amazing time exploring magical Kenya on our honeymoon! Our itinerary included the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, followed by a few relaxing days at Diani Beach. It truly was the trip of a lifetime, and we are incredibly grateful to have experienced it with Apodiformes Adventures.
Syprose organised everything for us from start to finish, and the whole experience was seamless. She was proactive with her communication, always responsive to our questions and made us feel in good hands throughout the entire process. Everything was delivered as quoted, with no unpleasant surprises. We also had no issues transferring the remaining balance internationally, and Syprose proactively provided confirmation of receipt.
We started with one of their suggested itineraries and then customised it together with Syprose to suit our needs. The flexibility and personalisation were fantastic, and the value for money was excellent.
Our guide, Isaiah, was very knowledgeable and made the safari experience even more special. He struck a great balance between accommodating our wishes and offering helpful suggestions for the daily itinerary and game drives. Choosing a private tour was absolutely the right decision for us. We could stop whenever we wanted, spend more time watching the animals that interested us and enjoy each moment without feeling rushed.
Apodiformes Adventures may be a small tour operator, but they are professional, reliable and genuinely committed to delivering a great experience. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to friends and family, and to anyone looking to experience Kenya.

Perfect adventure
Apodiformes Adventures provided fantastic, thoughtful service throughout our entire African safari. Our guide Big Tom was outstanding: caring, quick-witted and flexible. He expertly spotted wildlife across the savannah and explained animal habits vividly, and always responded quickly to our requests. What impressed us deeply was an extra favour we asked for. After our safari, we planned to travel to Egypt and needed help printing our Egypt visa documents. We reached out to the operator, and they immediately coordinated with our hotel in Nairobi for our last night stay. They arranged to have the printed documents ready in an envelope and handed directly to us upon check-in. Plus, Big Tom went above and beyond — after a long safari day, he drove overnight for our early flight and guided our Amboseli tour with merely 3 hours’ rest. This team is reliable, attentive and truly cares about travellers. Cannot recommend them enough!
