Very accommodating and experienced!

I travelled to Murchison Falls, in late August 2024. I had never been on safari and had not planned the trip far in advance, but on short notice Dickson organised the entire experience, quickly answering any and all questions I had. My guide Lorand was great and very experienced, we saw everything you could hope to see in Murchison. He also accommodated a stop to the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary on the way, which was incredible. The company was great at communication and the experience was excellent.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!!. Dickson was super easy to work with via WhatsApp and email. He was responsive, organized and thoughtful in his planning. He arranged a 5 night Double Gorilla Safari in Uganda and Rwanda for us and was absolutely perfect down to every last detail. He has way more experience than the reviews here so don't let the lack of reviews scare you. We traveled to both Uganda and Rwanda without a hitch and we planned super last minute. Dickson provided little details - a gift bag, notes in our hotel rooms, and recommendations on activities that did not go unnoticed. We really felt special and cared for.

Steven our guide for 5 days was also amazing. We enjoyed conversations, the drives and time spent with Steven. He was prompt, thoughtful and very knowledgeable on all things safari! Steven was also a very good driver and we felt safe at all times.

When we travel back to Uganda/Rwanda we will use Hooves of Africa again!! Already dreaming of our return!

Anything I can say about Uganda won't be enough. It is definitely the most underrated of all African destinations and arguably the most beautiful.

Dixon and hooves of Africa were great from the get go, planning everything to the last detail, including the extra days I was in Uganda.

And then the tour itself, nothing short of amazing. My safari guide Champion was truly a champion, smart, intelligent and a lot of fun. He made sure I saw everything including all of the big 5. The accommodations were lovely and the chimpanzee and gorilla tracking was the true highlight of the trip. Definitely something everyone should experience once in their life.
Breathtaking nature, amazing people and overall a very very good experience.

We absolutely loved our tour through Uganda and Rwanda with Hooves of Africa. Dixon communicated with us throughout the process and made the entire experience easy and organized. We loved the lodges and all the activities he recommended. The small things he did like getting us Uganda jerseys or leaving notes in the lodges really left a personal connection. We couldn’t have been happier with our tour. Stephen, our guide, was incredible. His many years of experience as a guide and ranger really helped us get the most out of this tour. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the areas we travelled and all our activities. We can confidently say he was the best guide we’ve ever had. He was such a pleasure to spend time with. We actually hope to meet up with him again in Uganda in the future. What a trip. Don’t wait, just book your Uganda adventure with this operator.

My colleague and I were on a business trip to Uganda and had our last day off. We wanted to see something unique in Uganda and were looking for something close to Entebbe. This shoebill tour seemed like the perfect solution. On this platform I found Dixon who organised our tour at very short notice.
