An unforgettable safari
Our safari experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, and we felt well taken care of the entire time. The parks were breathtaking, and we were lucky to see so much wildlife — truly unforgettable moments.
Our Richard was fantastic: knowledgeable, friendly, and always making sure we had the best experience possible. Every detail, from the accommodations to the daily planning, exceeded our expectations.
We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an amazing safari adventure.

A really nice and helpful operator, can only recommend!
We booked a 2-day safari during the low season, including one night at the Escarpment Lodge. We were really lucky with the weather—every time we arrived at the park, the rain stopped. For the low season, we actually saw a lot of animals.
The lodge was breathtaking. We were upgraded to the Executive Suite, had a private pool, a bathtub in the room, and an unforgettable dinner. At the end of the evening, they even sang for me and brought me a birthday cake. It was a bit embarrassing, but still a very nice gesture. The service was flawless—absolutely 10/10.
Back to the safari: Richard was our guide. We had originally been promised a German-speaking guide, which we didn’t get, but Richard was absolutely excellent. He is very knowledgeable and shares lots of interesting little details. The two days with him were truly enjoyable, and overall we had an unforgettable experience despite it being the low season.

We booked a safari with Akondo Safari’s, which was well organized, but what truly made our trip unforgettable was our tour guide, Richard. He is not only incredibly experienced but also friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about wildlife. Richard went above and beyond to ensure we saw as many animals as possible, and thanks to his keen eye and knowledge, we had an unforgettable experience.
What really sets him apart is his combination of expertise and enthusiasm. He shared fascinating facts about the animals, their behavior, and the ecosystem, making the safari both fun and educational. On top of that, he made the journey incredibly enjoyable with his stories and warm personality.
In short: if you want a safari where you get the most out of your day, Richard is the guide to choose. We can’t recommend him highly enough!
Magnificent
Our two-day safari with Akondo Adventures was flawlessly organized and exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, Boris handled all the details — transportation, flights, and lodging — with incredible efficiency. Everything was clearly arranged and communicated before we even arrived, making the entire experience completely stress-free.
Our guide, David, was absolutely outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure we saw the Big Five and so much more, and his skill behind the wheel was unmatched across every type of terrain. His deep knowledge of wildlife, the environment, and animal behavior truly enhanced the safari and made each sighting even more meaningful.

Our guide, RICHARD, was simply outstanding — honestly the best guide in the world!!! His knowledge, passion, sense of humor, and ability to spot animals were incredible. He made every single day exciting and unforgettable, and thanks to him we experienced moments we will remember for the rest of our lives.
The landscapes were breathtaking, the wildlife encounters were beyond our expectations, and the whole atmosphere of the trip was just magical.
