Is not easy to describe with words the amazing experience I had with True Vine Safari (especially Bernard) to make the trip to Bwindi and have such amazing experience was a dream come true and plus the experience of Uganda that Bernard showed to us, how warm we were welcomed in this country as well as how good was everything managed since the quotation and explanations until we were there. Unforgettable 7-Day Rwanda & Uganda Primate Trekking with Truevine – A Perfect Solo Adventure!
I recently completed a 7-day primates trekking tour across Rwanda and Uganda with Truevine Safaris, and I cannot praise the experience enough. Traveling solo, I felt completely supported, safe, and well taken care of every step of the way – thanks to Mr. Bernard, my guide and point of contact throughout the journey.
The itinerary included golden monkey trekking in Rwanda, as well as gorilla and chimpanzee trekking in Uganda. I was incredibly lucky to see all the animals immediately on each trek, and I believe a big part of that success came from Bernard’s deep knowledge, strong connections with park staff, and his thoughtful planning. He knows so many rangers and park officials, which helped ensure everything went smoothly and efficiently.
I have some health challenges and difficulty with steep climbs, but Bernard took this seriously and arranged each trek carefully to match my condition. Thanks to his foresight and organization, I was able to enjoy every experience without stress or unnecessary strain – while still getting the full magic of seeing these amazing primates up close.
Beyond his professionalism, Bernard is a genuinely kind and respectful person. He always listened to my input, quickly adapted the itinerary when I had changes in mind, and gave helpful advice – even on personal matters when I needed someone to talk to. He was always on time, always made sure I was comfortable, and treated me with sincere respect throughout.
The accommodation options he provided were clean, comfortable, and great value – exactly what I asked for in the low-budget range, without sacrificing charm or quality.
