I had a wonderful trip with Michael. He communicated regularly via WhatsApp both before and during. He was happy to answer all questions I had before arriving and was always accessible once I arrived. The best thing was that he tailored my trip to exactly what I wanted. And on the trip, he took me to see exactly the animals I wanted to see. He was even kind enough to take fantastic photos and videos for me, because I just wanted to enjoyed it and not do that. He also took me to shops where i could find handmade goods that I asked him to find for me. I found his pricing to be much better than others on such an individual safari trip. I world definitely recommend him!! In fact, I think I might have to go back again!

From the moment we started planning our Kenya safari until the day we flew home, Michael from Sublime Travels made the entire experience nothing short of extraordinary.

Planning a family safari can be overwhelming, but Michael took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and designed an itinerary that was perfectly paced and never rushed, yet packed with unforgettable experiences. Every day felt thoughtfully planned, giving us enough time to truly soak in the beauty of Kenya without feeling like we were constantly on the move.

The accommodation choices were exceptional. Our stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort was absolutely beautiful, with stunning river views, hippos grazing nearby, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it hard to leave. Staying in the club tent at Sarova Mara Game Camp, right inside the Masai Mara, was a magical experience. Waking up to the sounds of nature, spotting wildlife and beautiful birds around the camp, and experiencing the wilderness from within the reserve created memories we’ll cherish forever. Michael then introduced us to another hidden gem, Veilscape Camp near Simba Gate. The spacious luxury tents, warm hospitality, delicious food, cozy bonfires under the African sky, and breathtaking sundowners made it the perfect ending to our Mara adventure.

Every experience Michael arranged exceeded our expectations. Cycling through Hell’s Gate National Park, walking among zebras and giraffes on Crescent Island, the boat safari on Lake Naivasha, thrilling game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park and the Masai Mara, and the spectacular sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Mara were all flawlessly organized. Each activity complemented the next, creating a safari that offered adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

What truly sets Michael apart is his incredible knowledge, passion, and instinct as a guide. On our very first evening game drive, he somehow managed to help us spot the Big Five, an achievement we never imagined possible so quickly. His understanding of animal behaviour, birdlife, ecosystems, and the Masai Mara is simply remarkable. Every game drive became an engaging wildlife masterclass, where we learned fascinating facts while witnessing nature at its finest.

One of the absolute highlights of our trip was witnessing the Great Migration. Thanks to Michael’s experience, patience, and exceptional positioning of the vehicle, we found ourselves with front-row seats to one of the most breathtaking river crossings imaginable. It was one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments that will stay with our family forever.

As a photography enthusiast, I cannot thank Michael enough. He has an incredible eye for positioning the vehicle perfectly, ensuring we always had the best angle, lighting, and unobstructed views for photography. Many of the photographs and videos we brought home simply wouldn’t have been possible without his patience and thoughtful positioning.

Beyond being an outstanding guide, Michael is one of the kindest and most empathetic people we’ve met. Our son was recovering from a fractured hand, and Michael consistently drove with extra care over rough terrain, making sure he remained comfortable throughout the journey. He even arranged special pillows to support him during the long drives. These thoughtful gestures meant so much to us and demonstrated that our family’s comfort and wellbeing were always his priority.

He also went above and beyond to make my wife’s birthday truly unforgettable. From arranging beautiful decorations to organizing a special celebration right in the heart of the African savannah, he transformed her birthday into one of the most memorable celebrations we’ve ever had. It was a magical surprise that we’ll treasure forever.

Michael’s attention to detail extended far beyond the safari itself. He recommended excellent coffee stops, wonderful lunch spots, and authentic curio shops where we could shop with confidence. Throughout the trip, his communication was prompt, transparent, and reassuring. Whether before the trip or during our travels, every question was answered quickly, and every arrangement was handled seamlessly.

By the end of our safari, Michael was no longer just our guide, he had become a genuine friend. His warmth, professionalism, infectious enthusiasm, and sincere care transformed an amazing holiday into a deeply personal and unforgettable experience.

A huge thank you also to the entire team at Sublime Travels for delivering such a flawlessly organized safari. Every booking, transfer, park entry, activity, and accommodation was executed perfectly. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident throughout our journey.

I just experienced one of the most incredible trips of my life. This safari exceeded all my expectations: from the very beginning, the service was impeccable and the treatment was simply outstanding. Every detail was handled with such care that it made everything even more special.
The landscapes were out of this world… golden sunrises, sunsets that looked like paintings, and a connection with nature that is hard to put into words. Being able to see animals in their natural habitat was truly magical—an experience that takes your breath away.
On top of that, the atmosphere, the organization, and the warmth of the people made me feel completely comfortable and happy at all times. Thank to Michael Ndeto, our guide, to make this experience just amazing.
