I’ve had the privilege of traveling on safari with Meektrails Safaris several times since August and November 2025, and most recently during the month of April 2026. Each experience has been even more magical than the last. I have gone from one end of Kenya to the other.

Africa and safari travel were never on my “bucket list,” so I’ve been genuinely amazed by how deeply these journeys have touched me. Every trip has exceeded my expectations in ways that are indescribable. I never I thought I could afford to go on safari and research has shown me that Meektrails Safari is not only the best, but the best value.

The lodges during the experience are carefully chosen and reviewed regularly to ensure they meet the Meektrails Safari standard.

Daniel and Phyllis, the founders, along with the office team and guides, make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. They go above and beyond to ensure every guest has an experience that is meaningful, memorable, and truly special. You will want to share your experience over and over. Every detail is handled from the beginning to the end. Ask ANYTHING, so they can craft your dream trip.

All of the guides love what they do. They are knowledgeable, passionate, conservation-minded, and highly experienced. I’ve traveled most often with Joseph, who has truly connected Kenya to my soul. He has an incredible gift for finding magical moments, often at the very end of the day when you least expect them. Njinu, Gideon, and George are equally wonderful. With Meektrails Safari, you can trust that you’ll always have the perfect guide. ALL the guides grew up in Kenya and know the landscapes intimately. There will always be incredible moments to experience.

What makes Meektrails Safaris especially unique is that they are Kenyan born and raised. They take immense pride in sharing their culture, breathtaking landscapes, extraordinary wildlife, and the beauty of their homeland.

We went for single day safari and that was best day ever ! We felt as a family with the guide who now only showed us lovely wildlife of Kenya but made us understand the culture and people. I know we will come back for longer. 6 stars to whole team.

We had an amazing experience with Meektrails during our trip to Kenya. From start to finish, everything was well coordinated and thoughtfully planned. The team was very accommodating and responsive, and they really made the entire trip feel seamless and stress free.

A special shoutout to our guide, Gideon (Giddy), who truly made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, always prioritized our safety, and shared so many insightful facts about the animals and wildlife throughout the trip. Thanks to him, we were able to accomplish the Big 5 within a week, along with seeing many other animals we had hoped to encounter.

We also really appreciated how cooperative and helpful the team was in coordinating with our hot air balloon provider and trying to make everything work smoothly for us.

Kenya was such a special experience, and Meektrails played a huge part in that. Highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari trip, and we would definitely book with them again if we visit Tanzania in the future!
