Our safari with Off The Beaten Path was incredible. We saw so many different animals and had the most caring, personable and engaging guide. The service from the team at Off The Beaten Path Safaris was exceptional from booking our trip all the way through to checking in on us after our arrival home. I would highly recommend this company!

After living in Tanzania for a couple of years, I was very much looking forward to a safari with two visiting friends. Our trip with Off the Beaten Path did not disappoint! Amina was very helpful in planning a four-day trip for us, and her prompt and clear communication was much appreciated. We spent two nights in the Serengeti and one just outside Ngorongoro Crater, both in comfortable tented camps with delicious food. Our guide Issa was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He balanced incredible wildlife sightings (close-up encounters with a leopard, elephants, families of lions and their cubs, beautiful birdlife and so many wildebeest!) with a respect for the animals, avoiding excessive stress. It was a wonderful trip we'll remember for a long time.

My latest safari (I’ve done 2 others prior) with Off the Beaten Path Safaris was simply incredible exploring the chimpanzees in Gombe Stream and other parts of the less traveled western circuit. This company has taken me all over Tanzania - from the usual northern circuit with Serengeti / Ngorongoro / Tarangire to Zanzibar to Lake Natron as well as the Southern circuit (Rush’s) and now the western circuit (Kitavi and Gombe Stream). There is nothing this team cannot do well. Their guides are exceptional. Their customer service impeccable. They listen to your needs and adjust on the fly to make sure the trip exceeds expectations. As a wildlife photographer they know what I want to see and how my needs differ from a family. Over the years I have learned to value how important it is to have a company that listens to your needs and has connections on the ground in the places that you visit. Salim, the owner, has endless connections and manages to get done the impossible. I would visit again and again and I would only trust this amazing team of Tanzanian travel experts to take care of me!

Very helpful! It was never a problem when we had to change the date. The communication was excellent, they answered very fast. Very good quality and value for the money and the tour to Tarangire is highly recommend!

Had a great tour today! Our guide had a lot of good knowledge about the park and all the animals! He was really friendly and helpful! The company piced us up at the correct time and served a nice lunch with drinks! The communication was very pleasant and we paid cash when he picked us up!
