I had an incredible experience with Zagol Ethiopia Tours from beginning to end. The entire trip was extremely well organized, professional, and personalized. Mulie was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty, culture, and history of Ethiopia and Lalibela.

Seeing these remarkable churches in person was truly unforgettable, and Mulie provided fascinating historical and cultural insight that made the experience even more meaningful. It was an amazing opportunity to experience one of Ethiopia’s most iconic and spiritual destinations.Every detail was handled smoothly, which made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Informative and welcoming, and the itinerary offered a perfect balance of adventure, culture, and authentic local experiences( home cooked meal, was exquisitely good). I especially appreciated how attentive and accommodating he was throughout the tour.

18days with Mr Muluye solotrip! Adis s treasures,Tana s fresco s inold monasteries on tropical island,biblical landscapes at Nile s sources,being princess in Gondar s castle and admiring churches and Selassie trasures, feeling queen in Axum, real adventure camping with 6 men team in Simien, desert scenes and colourful sulphur springs and volcano in Danakil!! Highlight was warm welcone and Easterlunch at mr Muluyecs home with his lovely wife as well as special blessings in St George church.Unforgettable.Good accomodation ,intresting local guides, safe chauffeurs..fuel or no fuel..electric as well.A finale in Harar with Awash waterfalls showed again different landscapes.Tigray is peacefull and province to go back! Mr Muluye took great personal care of me from arrival till departure, even when i was sick one day.I highly recommend his services.He made me fall in love with the country and i look forward to come back

All the trip went well.. zagol organized incredible tour for us.. we had seen everything as in itinerary and on top of it we visited more tribes. Vehicles were comfortable.. and we stayed in good hotels.

Our experience with Zagol Ethiopia Tours has been consistently excellent. After a first successful trip to the Danakil Depression, we chose to travel with them again for our visit to Lalibela, and it once again proved to be the right decision.
From the very beginning, the organization was smooth and reassuring. The accommodation was well chosen, offering beautiful views, and the program allowed us to fully enjoy the region, including visits to the rock-hewn churches and a hike to a nearby monastery. Everything felt relaxed, well-paced, and carefully prepared.
What made this trip especially memorable were the cultural moments beyond the standard itinerary. Being welcomed into Muluye’s home for a cooking session—learning how Injera is made and sharing a traditional coffee ceremony—was a genuine and enriching experience.
Overall, this was another very well-designed journey, combining efficient logistics with meaningful local encounters. A great choice for travelers who value flexibility, authenticity, and personal attention when discovering Ethiopia.
