Kilimanjaro - 7 day Lemosho route
We did the 8-day Lemosho trek up Kilimanjaro as a group of two, though we ended up shortening it to 7 days.
Communication in the lead-up was excellent: we received quick responses via WhatsApp from the company director, who was also very helpful in organising our safari afterwards.
We would highly recommend Larry as a guide. He was knowledgeable, approachable, and attentive. He looked out for the entire team, including the porters, and kept us well-informed throughout the trek. His chef, Chinga, cooked some amazing meals too! We stayed in a tent large enough to eat in, complete with a table, plenty of condiments, and mats for sleeping. We’d also recommend opting for the private toilet which was definitely worth it!
During the first couple of days, we were able to move a bit faster given our ability level, while still maintaining safety. Later on, there was ample opportunity to rest. On summit night, Larry got us to the top with gentle encouragement and even some singing... Read more — the timing was perfect as we reached the summit right at sunrise! He also really enjoyed taking photos of us along the way.
In summary, we’d definitely recommend booking directly with this company for good communication and planning support for Kilimanjaro — would recommend be asking for Larry as your guide!

Fabulous team & unforgettable experience
In late May, without prior trekking experience, I decided out of the blue to attempt Kilimanjaro via the Machame (Whiskey) route on 6 days. The only thing that was clear to me was that I would secure the services of a local operator. And Almighty Kilimanjaro went above and beyond my expectations.
Before the trek, all went smoothly: logistics, briefing, equipment (and private toilet) rentals, stay at the Salinero...
Then I was blessed to share my little challenge with a wonderful group of seven individuals led by my guide Muntari. They brought their A+ game every step of the way. Muntari was not only great at managing our pace but he also provided remarkable insights about the fauna & flora we encountered throughout the climb.
Shabani (Chef) and Chaz (Waiter) were an amazing one-two punch also, ensuring I was properly fed & hydrated. These two accompanied me & Muntari on the summit attempt, helping me push through several moments of vulnerability.
Also... Read more the porters were extremely kind and happy seeing me reach daily milestones. I was not aware of what it takes to 'carry' a client to Uhuru Peak and back. I would like to give a massive shout-out to the full guild of porters. The efforts shall be acknowledged and celebrated.
All in all, it was a superb experience I will remember forever. Should I decide to do it again in the future, Almighty Kilimanjaro would be my pick again, without a doubt.

The team were excellent communicators, looked after you well and the food was excellent. Goodluck is a terrific chef!
Knowledgeable of the mountain and the pace was probably just right from Frankie and the boys!

10/10 experience
The contribution of the guides, porters and chefs cannot be overstated. They were fully invested in our success and the key to it. From transporting all tents, gear, food and supplies (except day pays, but even carrying those when necessary) to three delicious hot meals a day to camp always being set up when we arrived for lunch and at the end of the day to going the extra mile to monitor and assist progress and maintain an upbeat atmosphere, the attention to detail in planning, organization and execution could hardly have been more impressive and inspiring. That includes the coordinated assistance from stateside staff in booking, pickup at the airport and answering questions.
Highly recommend!!

Unforgettable kilimanjaro experience
Very happy with our hike to Kilimanjaro! Good communication before, during and after the hike. Would definitely recommend to others. Answered all our questions and also thought the prices were good. Great food on the trek and all of the staff were great! Very pleased with our waiter Chisano who helped us before and after each trek and answered our questions.

The best guides on mount kilimanjaro
Absolutely amazing! Climb was single greatest adventure of my life so far. Our guides Denis, Muntari ,Jackob & Daudi were phenomenal. They're strength and abilities were awe inspiring. I cannot overstate how great this trip was.
I went on the 2 day safari after the climb and was able to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras and more! 3 of the big 5 - leopards were not around and there were no rhinos in that particular park.

Great experience with friendly and helpful team
My Kilimanjaro climb was incredible and the Almighty Kilimanjaro team done a fantastic job of making it such a great experience.
Swalehe was my main guide and his calm, no nonsense approach was great. He knows just how much to push you, he also makes sure you don't overthink of get worried. After being a porter and a guide for so many years, he's really knowledgeable and able to assist with anything you could ask of him.
Charles was my waiter and he is one of the kindest, most helpful men I've come across, really sweet, always on hand to help you in any way he can.
Armani was my assistant guide for the summit night and without him I don't think I would have made it through. He was encouraging and so attentive, my fingers were freezing cold so he rubbed them, blew hot air on them and done everything he could to keep them warm as we climbed.
The food was very nice, portions were huuuuuge!
One thing that could be improved is the communication from Raashid prior to the trip. Contact was very limited and only for I was able to try info from other companies and friends who had done the hike before, I would have felt very under prepared! He answered questions that I had but I always had to ask 1st and I felt that things like packing lists, tips for preparation, etc could have been sent.
The hotel (Salinero Hotel) that they put you in the night before and the night you finish the hike is really nice!!

Amazing
I booked with Almighty Kilimanjaro directly, and they were amazing from the get go- good communication, I arrived at the airport and they picked me up to take me to the hotel for the briefing and checking I have all my equipments and if not I could rent some stuff. My guides Dismas & Amari were honestly the best enthusiastic guides ever!! I spent 7 days with them, and with every trek they were smiling, patient & welcoming on each day. Very knowledgeable too, learnt a lot about flowers, birds, the history of Kilimanjaro mountain. On summit day I struggled the first hour and Dismas the lead guide was fantastic, I stopped about 11 times and he was very patient, encouraging and was with me every step of the way, and due to the this I managed to reach the summit and made it back safely. Definitely would recommend this company, fair price & excellent service. My thanks to all the porters, guides & drivers who helped make this experience the best one ever!!!!

Thumbs up for Almighty kilimanjaro!
I can’t say enough about how impressive Almighty kilimanjaro and the team on the mountain were- they were incredibly attentive to the group - supported each climber and helped ensure our group had 100% success- specifically, Swalehe(camp boss), Frank(assistant guide), Alex & Jonathan (assistant guides) were top notch- consider yourself lucky if you end up with any of these guides
