Incredible
5/5

Climbing Kilimanjaro with Almighty was an unforgettable experience. From the outset, the guide and porter team provided exceptional service and guidance, ensuring all our needs were met and thoroughly briefing us on the daily itinerary and preparations. We received three high-calorie meals each day, toilet and wash facility, and the team diligently monitored our hydration and ensured we wore appropriate gear for a safe ascent. Their continuous encouragement was invaluable in maintaining high motivation during the more challenging stages of the climb. The group's 100% summit success rate is a testament to Almighty's capability, making them a highly recommended choice for anyone planning to ascend Africa's highest peak.

A special commendation goes to one of our lead guides, Swalehe, who consistently maintained high morale and boosted confidence whenever doubts arose. I look forward to taking on this incredible expedition again in the future.

Excellent Hike to The Top of Kilimanjaro
5/5

Fantastic trek to the roof of Africa with my son organised by The Adventure People and Almighty Kilimanjaro. Everything was organised to perfection and the guides and porters were excellent. The communication and support was brilliant from start to finish. A special mention must go to Amiri who was constantly checking on me every hour and checking my oxygen levels through the entire night when I was sick on day 4 from the altitude. Also a big thank you to Swalehe who constantly motivated the whole team and supported me the whole way after being sick, even carrying my day pack. I don’t think I would have made it to the summit without Amiri and Swalehe. The other guides and porters were also very helpful and supportive and couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely book with this company again in the future.

Amazing trip - amazing guide (Swaleh) and team
5/5

I had the most amazing time on the 7 day Machame route. Every day was unique, beautiful and challenging in its own way. Swaleh was my guide and I couldn’t have wished for anyone better. I tend to panic at times and he did the most amazing job at calming me down / motivating me when needed. He was super easy to chat to and really fun :)

The whole team were wonderful; Amani, Denis, Charles, Ayub and Chisano. Everyone works so hard whilst maintaining such a fun vibe and smiley face.
I recommend this trip to anyone considering it, you won’t be disappointed. I am so sad it’s over!!!

It’s tough but it’s worth it xx

Luxury and support at 19000 feet!
5/5

Despite pouring rain in the wet season I had a lovely experience with Almighty Kilimanjaro. The entire crew made the experience comfortable, and even luxurious. I was very impressed by the fact that even 6 days into the trip I was eating fresh fruit and comfortably sleeping in a giant tent. Swaleh, my guide, is personable, enthusiastic, and encouraging. My only issue was the rain- it meant I was the only person in my group, which definitely was a bummer, but on the plus side we had most camps to ourselves.

Highly recommend!
5/5

I had an absolutely incredible experience with Almighty Kilimanjaro and cannot recommend them enough! I did the 7 day Lemosho route and everything was so well organized from start to finish. My guide, Ladi, was exceptional! He was super knowledgeable and great at setting expectations for each day. He even predicted when I'd start feeling altitude sickness and knew exactly what to do. Even though I was traveling solo, I never once felt alone. The team was so kind and supportive, constantly encouraging me and motivating me throughout the week. It was such an amazing atmosphere to be part of. The weather was perfect and there were minimal crowds. It was an unforgettable experience and I am grateful to have had such an incredible team!

Amazing group of people! Safety is priority number one, but still have lots of fun and enjoyment!
5/5

I have wrote your review, signal isn’t good enough to post it yet but I will upload it to all the links you sent.

We had an incredible experience climbing Kilimanjaro with Almighty Kilimanjaro – I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

From the very beginning, everything was handled professionally. We met Rasheed, the director, at both the start and end of the trip, which gave it a really personal touch and showed how much he genuinely cares about the experience his team delivers.

Our main guide, Omben, was outstanding throughout – calm, knowledgeable, and always in control. We also spent a lot of time walking with our second guide, Kenny, who was equally brilliant. Both of them were incredibly supportive, especially when my friend injured his knee. They handled the situation with real care and professionalism, making sure we were safe and able to continue.

Safety was clearly their top priority at all times. Our oxygen levels and general health were checked regularly in the evenings and again before summit night, and we were always fully briefed on what to expect each day. That level of preparation made a huge difference – no surprises, just complete trust in the team.

A special mention to our chef, Goodluck (what a name!) – he kept us well fed and constantly hydrated, which is absolutely crucial on a climb like this. The food was far better than we expected and made a big impact on keeping our energy up.

And of course, a massive thank you to the whole support team – Peniel, James, Tumain, and Emmanuel. These guys work incredibly hard behind the scenes, and we simply wouldn’t have made it without them.

Beyond the climb itself, what really stood out was the team’s character. They were all friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly proud of what they do. We had some great conversations (especially about football!), and they were always open and honest when answering any questions about Tanzania and the mountain.

If you’re thinking about climbing Kilimanjaro, don’t overthink it – go with Almighty Kilimanjaro. You’ll be in safe hands with a team that genuinely cares about getting you to the summit and making the whole experience unforgettable.

Caring, professional, fun and encouraging.
5/5

My friend and I undertook the 6 day Marangu Route with our lead guide Muntari and his incredible team. From the very start, everything was handled with professionalism and care. The support and encouragement that was provided to us throughout the hike was outstanding and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Muntari and his team to anyone interested. Hiking Mount Kilimanjaro is not for the faint hearted, but it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The Marangu route accommodation is in huts and the fantastic Amani was always so caring and ensured that we had a warm drink when walking up in the morning and that we ate enough to fuel our hikes. The food also exceeded our expectations, our chef Shabani did a wonderful job providing us with nutritious and delicious meals. We never went hungry.

We were always briefed daily and had our oxygen concentrations and pulse assessed to ensure that we were fit and well to continue our hike to the summit. Muntari and his team provided an abundance of knowledge when it came to experiencing symptoms of altitude sickness and were always there to reassure and provide us with the positive mindset that is necessary to conquer the summit. The chorus of singing and dancing as we walked in the dark on summit night really lifted our spirits.

A special shout out to the porters! They are the magic behind the scenes who allowed us to complete this challenge by carrying our extra clothes and items from camp to camp. Vincent our assistant guide and Mparee one of our porters were the reason I managed to get to the summit. I couldn’t have done it without them.

A last thanks to Almighty Kilimanjaro, Muntari and his team for a truly life changing experience.

Great service and supportive team!
5/5

We had the best time celebrating my 30th birthday with a hike up Kilimanjaro with Muntas (Muntari) and his team. The hike was hard but the team encouraged and supported us along the way, always making sure we were taken care of and doing ok. They also were genuinely lovely people who we made memories with as a small group of 2 with a fantastic crew of 6. Special mentions to Amani who was one of our wonderful porters who brought a smile to our face every single day with his warm and caring service waking us with a hot drink. He was so kind, sincerely cared about how we were doing and joked with us ensuring we always ate enough to fuel all the exercise. He also supported me the entire way down the summit ensuring I was always safe. Muntas was also a great leader who really supported us in the hike and had great emotional intelligence to check in at the right times. They went out of their way to ensure we reached the peaks and even celebrated with a birthday cake at the end of the trip.

Vincent, Shabani, Mparee and the rest of the team! We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you. You all contributed to us having a great time and returning back after 6 days of hard work.

We were sad to leave them all and would highly recommend them for any hikers in future.
We didn’t feel like just any other customers but like family!
