An incredible experience!
The trip was an incredible experience for my family! Everything went so smoothly from flights to transportation to accommodations and activities. Chrizaan did a wonderful job putting together our itinerary based on where we wanted to go and the accommodations were beautiful and each one gave a different experience. Chrizaan was very responsive and was able to accommodate last minute changes for my family. I appreciated her communication and flexibility in working with us! Thanks to Chrizaan and Discover Africa for making it a trip my whole family will remember and looking forward to future trips with them!

Brilliant Botswana and Victoria Falls safari. Perfectly organised from start to finish by Adelle.
Contacted Discover Africa when considering possible Botswana holiday based on Safari Bookings reviews. Was not disappointed as Adelle took our initial ideas and created a perfect trip starting at Victoria Falls and then encompassing three lodges across Botswana, ending in the amazing Okavango Delta. The communication when putting together the trip was excellent and the information provided gave every detail needed to make it a smooth and stress free holiday, especially important with all the transfers required. The accommodation in all the lodges was first class and the staff everywhere were so friendly and helpful.
Of course the wildlife experiences were the highlight with Botswana providing such an amazing variation of water and land habitats. These included close up experiences of leopards, a pride of fifteen lions, elephants swimming across the Zambezi, and large groups of hippos.

Susan was very professional & extremely helpful.
We are a family of four and thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night holiday stay at Sun City Resort followed by 3 nights at Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge. It was very well organised and we did not have to worry about anything. Our tour operator, Susan was most helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The Game Lodge is outstanding with magnificent rooms and the food is amazing (5 Star). The Safaris (6 in total) were everything you dream of. Sightings of many animals both morning and night. I highly recommend Discover Africa Safaris as a great value for money holiday.

Botswana - MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME
I recently returned from my fourth trip to Botswana. Matthys van Aswegen has planned these trips so well for me that it is easy to prepare and go to this country where I now have many friends at the camps and specific animals in the wild that I now follow. Even when I have special requests, he always finds a way to fulfill them. Thank you, Matthys! I am so grateful to you for all the wonderful adventures and memories you have helped to create for me. And I am looking forward to my next Botswana trip in September, 2025!

Amazing trip in Botswana with Discover Africa!
We had a great experience with Discover Africa! Chrizaan was very helpful and found and organized the perfect location for us. We spent an amazing time and we highly recommend the MMA Dinare Lodge. From arrival to departure everything was perfect, the friendly staff, the food was some of the best we had eaten on this trip, the guides and the game-drives (even night drives and off-road) were excellent! We would book again with Discover Africa!

Reliable and helpful tour operator!
Discover Africa Safaris have helped us arrange and create a self-drive itinerary for us for Namibia. We were very happy with all the arrangement and had an absolutely great time in Namibia. It was very comforting knowing that you can always reach out to someone during our trip in case of questions (I had many) or emergencies. I took my son to the Masai Mara for his 16th birthday, and it was our very first trip to Kenya—an experience we’ll never forget. From the very beginning, Discover Africa (especially Susan) guided us every step of the way. They helped us choose the perfect destination tailored to exactly what we were looking for, arranged incredible accommodations, and took care of every detail—from drivers to internal flights.
Even when we decided to extend our stay, everything was handled seamlessly. It truly felt like we had our own personal assistant throughout the journey. Communication was effortless via email and WhatsApp, and they even checked in with us daily to hear about our experiences, what wildlife we had seen, and to make sure everything was running smoothly.
The service was not only impeccable but also deeply personal and genuine. I honestly can’t imagine planning another trip without Discover Africa!

Wonderful safari trip organised with my interests at heart
I have just come back to Australia from 2 months travelling in Africa. Part of this time was a personal tour organised by Discover Africa just for me. I had found them online when I was researching safaris and made contact with them as their tours looked like they covered the sort of places I was interested in. I don't like big tour groups, and would have been happy in a small group, but Susan Swanpoel replied and said they'd organise whatever I wanted, just for me. Susan was super helpful with the organisation by email and a couple of Zoom calls. She designed the trip around my wishes of where I wanted to visit, and was super helpful when my friend decided to join me for half the trip. She worked within my budget, and changed things as necessary to suit me/us better. Everything was set out well, on paper, and also on a phone app that could be accessed offline whilst we were travelling. It may not have been the cheapest option for such a trip, but it was definitely excellent value for money!
The trip started in South Africa, went up through Victoria Falls and Botswana and on to Tanzania. Everywhere I travelled I could rely on being met at the airport and helped through to either my next flight, or my next accommodation. Airports can be quite intimidating, it was really great to have someone meet me. I was travelling on my own for half the trip, and always felt safe and well looked after. The hotels and safari lodges Susan had suggested were great. All the safari lodges were full board, and were absolutely wonderful. I especially loved Chobe Game Lodge in Botswana and Rufiji River Lodge in Tanzania.
I started in South Africa in January, and it was February by the time I was in the Serengeti and the Wildebeest were on the southern part of their migration. We saw so many thousands! Plus lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, so many birds, you name it, we saw it! February was a good time to be in Tanzania, because it is between two wet seasons. The guide we had for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro was really experienced and looked after us super well. It is an amazing part of the world! The small plane flights between safari locations in Tanzania were excellent, and saved us so much time ( and body shaking) as road travel is very slow over there, even when it looks like it's not that far ( the roads are pretty bad).
I loved the whole trip, and would not hesitate to use Discover Africa again if I ever revisit the African continent for another tour.
