Amazing safari and perfect Jocky Tours from the pickup to the last goodby
My three-day safari in the Masai Mara, staying at Jumbo Mara, was amazing. First of all, kudos to my guide Francis: friendly, flawless, and punctual from pickup to the final goodbye. The organization was excellent, with smooth transfers and great support throughout. The safari itself was particularly lucky (thanks to the weather and to Francis’s experience), and I managed to see all of the Big Five plus lots of other animals. The visit to the Masai village was also nice—somewhat touristy (but then again, that’s what we are), yet it gives you a glimpse into how the Masai live.
The stay at Jumbo Mara was perfect—excellent food (coming from an Italian, that says a lot!) and extremely friendly, professional staff. Would I recommend this combo to my friends? ABSOLUTELY!

Excellent
We joined a 5-day, 4-night group tour covering Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Nakuru, and had a wonderful experience overall. Our guide, Evans, was fantastic — kind, flexible, and always attentive to the group’s needs.
The group dynamic was great, and we became good friends with the other participants. When we asked where people had booked the tour, we found that it was a joint tour operated by multiple companies such as Jungle Jockey and a few others. Interestingly, the prices were the same across all companies, regardless of where you booked. The tour members had different itineraries — some joined for just 2 nights, others stayed for up to 7.
An important thing to note: the entry fee for Maasai Mara National Reserve changes significantly depending on the date. If you enter before June 30th, it’s $100/day, but from July 1st onward, it increases to $200/day. This fee is included in the tour cost, so the total price varies greatly depending on your travel dates. We traveled in early July — just before the Great Migration typically peaks around July 15th — so the timing may have been slightly off to catch the full spectacle.
The tour itself was well-organized and very enjoyable. One minor downside: the safari van had 8 seats, and when fully occupied, one person had to sit in the front passenger seat. That spot may not be ideal for game viewing compared to the back seats with better roof access.
Overall, I highly recommend this tour for those looking for an affordable, group-based safari adventure!

Should have had more variation, but friendly and knowledgeable guides
Our guides Geeman, Steve and Patrick
We stayed at the Sopa Masai Mara, which is a nice place to stay. We had 5 nights there, but in hindsight would have choosen to stay 3 nights in Masai Mara and 2 nights in another park to have more variation.
The safaris was great, although we expected to have some more variation since we had 3 full days of safari + 1 evening safari.
- The first two (evening + 1 full day) we had with Geeman, who was very effective in finding all big 5 both days (!). Impressive.
- We then felt somewhat suprised that we where to go the same route the following day with Steve, who did his job in the same friendly manner as Geeman.
- Thankfully, our wish for variation led us to have a private safari with Patrick, who gave us an experience more in peace, in our pace. He showed us places off the beaten track, and more insight into Masai traditions.

Geeman was organized and fun - we had our pickups and drop offs all on time and enjoyed each portion
The safari was great. Two days is perfect for us - we saw four of the big five (besides rhinos) including so many lions that we felt it was wonderful. Herds with thousands of wildebeest were incredible. Geeman kept us on time and was knowledgeable about the game and local culture. I highly recommend his tour.

Very efficient and responsive
We had such a great experience on this safari! 3 days was the perfect amount for us to see so many beautiful animals including elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, buffalo, wildebeest, and even a cheetah! Our tour guide, John Mwangi, was probably one of the best drivers out there and very knowledgeable about all the animals. In fact, other drivers would even come up to him to ask questions or he would help them if their jeeps got stuck. My husband and I also personally loved our stay at the Mara Enkorok camp. It was a beautiful space with good food. Overall, highly recommend Jocky Tours.

Hakuna Matata with Jocky Tours
Thank you so much Jocky tours. You guys are awesome. This was our first safari in Africa. From the beginning @Maureen and @Samwel were very supportive and they guided me well to find a best safari option based on our travel dates. Prices are very reasonable.
We had a four day safari - 2 days at Masai Mara and last day at lake Nakuru.
Well organised the accommodation and meals were great.
After all a big hug to our tour guide Andrew❤️. He is the BEST. He took care of us as a family member. There were some unpleasant incidents on our way to Nakuru. He secured us from protestors. He knew our interests very well. Always wanted to give us the best view to capture best shots with exact angles.
We highly recommend Andrew and Jocky tours and looking forward to visit Kenya again as now we are crazy about Masai Mara❤️❤️

Reliable company if you want to get an unforgetable safari experience
We went on a four-day safari through the Masai Mara with Jocky Tours. The overall experience was good. Our guide, Steve, made an effort and was always concerned that we saw all the animals. The mid-range hotels were adequate. The biggest drawback was the group we were assigned to: I was with my husband and father, and they put us in a jeep with some very rude young Asian women, as if it were their private safari. I recommend this experience with Jocky Tours 100%.

Amazing and complete
We went to Kenya for 6 days, seeing three parks and the big five animals on safari. Our driver, Frances, was wonderful, getting us up close to the animals, keeping us on time and delivering information that we needed. There were some unexpected changes in weather and road conditions that needed his expert skills to keep the trip going as planned. Thank you Frances.
