Absolutely amazing!
5/5

Our experience with Jocky Tours exceeded every expectation from the very first moment.
We booked our entire honeymoon safari from Colombia, and Maureen was incredible—she helped us organize every detail of our itinerary with patience, clarity, and genuine dedication.

Once in Kenya, we had the privilege of traveling with Isaac, the best guide we could have ever asked for.
From day one, his knowledge, professionalism, and calm confidence made every part of the journey—from Nairobi through Maasai Mara, Nakuru, and Amboseli—truly exceptional.

On our very first safari day, we managed to see 4 of the Big Five, and the following day Isaac gifted us one of the most unforgettable moments of our trip: thanks to his experience and determination to explore the right area, we were able to spot a black rhino that hadn’t been seen in more than six months! Absolutely magical.

Beyond being an expert guide, Isaac made every day even more special:
his amazing playlist, perfect timing, safe driving, and incredible eye for wildlife turned every game drive into something magnificent, emotional, and surreal.

All the accommodations chosen by Jocky Tours were warm, comfortable, and hosted by wonderful people who took care of every detail to make our honeymoon truly unforgettable.

Would we do it again? Absolutely.
And without hesitation, we would choose Jocky Tours and Isaac again—the best guide of all.

Recommend

We liked safari with Jocky tours. Everything was arranged for you, and all you had to do was enjoy the safari. Pick-up and drop-off were from/to the location you specified in Nairobi. Our guide Joseph was excellent. We also enjoyed visiting the Maasai village, except for the moment when the locals took us to show the hut and the unpleasant money requests started. But everything else was perfect.

Unforgettable two-day safari filled with incredible wildlife sighting
5/5

We had an amazing two-day safari experience and truly enjoyed every moment. We were lucky to see a wide variety of animals up close, and the entire trip felt smooth, safe, and well organized. Our guide Richie was fantastic—very well informed, patient, and genuinely passionate about the wildlife and the region. His explanations and spotting skills made the experience even more special. Overall, it was an unforgettable adventure and we highly recommend it!

Professional, knowledgeable and a great value
5/5

I had high hopes for my trip to Kenya, and those were definitely fulfilled with Jocky Tours Safari. It exceeded expectations in every way and was an incredible value. Our driver/guide Joshua was truly outstanding, both friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The vehicle was comfortable, not overcrowded (7 passengers and 1 driver), and we loved opening the top for better views and photos. The overall itinerary was great, taking us to areas of Kenya with differing terrains and wildlife. Accomodations were better than expected for the budget. We stayed in tented camps for 4 of the nights and hotels for 2. In every case we had a private room and our own bathroom, with hot water. Food was nothing special but always plenty to eat, and tasty. Didn’t get sick and bottled water included everywhere. The safaris themselves were just amazing, and always something new and interesting to see. Had a great time with other fellow travelers from all over the world (Russia, Finland, and India). Highly recommended.

Great itinerary and a great tour guide.
5/5

We had a great experience with Jocky tours. Everything was as described, David our guide was extremely knowledgeable and really helpful throughout the entire safari. He always went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. We managed to see the big 5 on our trip which would not have been possible without a knowledgable person like David.
We initially booked budget accommodation and then upgraded closer to the trip. All of the hotel were very nice.

I would recommend hockey tours and David for any friends and family visiting Kenya.

Review for James – Safari Driver
5/5

James was an exceptional driver. In the chaotic driving conditions of Kenya, he remained professional, calm, and extremely careful. Throughout the safari, he was actively spotting animals for us—far more than I ever expected, and honestly even more than what I’d seen in all the YouTube videos I had watched beforehand.

He was patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience exciting and unforgettable. I would recommend James to anyone, and I will definitely be telling my friends to book with him as well.

Very quick to respond to questions and conducted a very seamless transaction
5/5

While looking for a safari adventure that satisfied both our timeline and budget, Jocky Tours provided the best fit. They were able to answer back quickly to any questions I had before committing to a tour (3-day private Masai Mara tour with a visit to a Maasai Village). They asked for a down payment (amount was left up to me and paid for a few weeks in advance) and the rest of the amount was fulfilled just right before the start of the tour.

Once the tour was fully paid, we were introduced to our driver and tour guide, Peter Kapino, who helped put our luggage in the land cruiser and we were off to our safari adventure. We stopped at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint along the way to take some pics. Afterwards, Peter showed us some baboons chilling on the road along the way. Overall, our drive to our accomodations (Enkorok Mara Camp) was safe and fast. We arrived there just in time for lunch (provided), and after talking with Peter, we met up again at 4PM for an evening drive. Peter was very prompt and arrived on time. Once we were in the reserve, Peter stopped by any group of animals we came across with and explained quite well what each animal group is (and also so we can take photos). We saw so many: zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, etc. Peter was in constant communication with the other tour guides in the park in case they come across other animals, and sure enough, he was told about a lioness and her cubs chilling in the bushes and off we went! What a way to cap off our first day in the reserve.

Our second day started off early (again, Peter was on time) and similar to the first day, Peter was able to take us to animals you just don't see on the main road. He tried to take us to see leopards (twice!) but these elusive animals hid in the bushes both times. We saw a couple of cheetahs, some warthogs, and more of the animals we saw on the first day (btw, Peter has very good eyesight! He can spot an animal from very far away). For lunch, Peter brought us to a quiet area by the Mara River to eat as we watch hippos swimming in the water. Afterwards we tried to look for leopards, but to no avail. They are so elusive! We saw more elephants, zebras, and giraffes as we headed back to our camp.

The third day Peter brought us to a Maasai Village, and what an experience. It was great knowing more about Maasai culture and we were even able to participate in dancing with the Maasai. The villagers also sold souvenirs for those who may be looking for one. Again, our drive back was very safe and quick.

I highly recommend getting Jocky Tours (and Peter Kapino) as your tour operator on your safari!
