Excellent safari experience with great organization, professional service, and outstanding wildlife
My tour guide - Dennis was an excellent guide and driver during our 3-days safari in Amboseli National Park. Thanks to his experience and knowledge, we were able to see a wide variety of animals throughout the trip. He always chose the best positions for wildlife viewing and patiently ensured that we had great opportunities to observe and photograph the animals.
Dennis was professional, polite, careful while driving, and very easy to talk to. His friendly attitude and enthusiasm made the safari even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Dennis to anyone visiting Amboseli and looking for a knowledgeable and reliable guide.

My and my friends had an amazing safari experience, thanks to our guide Papa Jones. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we are satisfied. Throughout the safari, he always cared about our comfort and went above to ensure we had the best possible experience. The organization, accommodation and meals were also very well, making the entire journey even more enjoyable. We are grateful for these 5 days spent in a very friendly atmosphere. Papa Johns is an excellent tour operator. He is very kind, engaged and have a big knowlage
We (me and my friends) saw all animals which are able to see during safari. We are grateful to our tour guide - Papa Johns - becacuse he was very engaged in our trip. He searched all species for us, told us a lot of information about Kenya, people who live here, we got a lot of knowlage about animals and nature.
During car rides he answered all questions and was talkative so we aren't bored.
He is very cultural, has good taste of music and sense of humour.
We felt very safe with him (as a driver and during all safari).
When we wanted extra trip or atraction he organised everything on the time.
If I come back to Kenya I will surley choose Jocky Tours and Papa Johns!

Papa Johns gave us the best Safari experience, we loved him.
Papa Johns gave us the experience of seeing all 5 of Big Five wild animals. He was really good at spotting and chasing the animals. He was trying to be flexible and to meet our needs and requests. He also told us a lot of stories about safari, animals and Kenya. In this firm you get what you pay for and the price is really good for this kind of experience. I will recommend it.

The best value for money, great guide papa John.
We had an amazing 5-day budget safari with our guide, Papa John. He truly cared about making sure we were happy throughout the entire trip. He was excellent at spotting different animals during the safari and always did his best to ensure we saw as many as possible. He was very dedicated, attentive, and caring, and shared many interesting facts about Kenya with us. I wholeheartedly recommend him!

Fantastic safari experience and an amazing guide
We had a wonderful safari experience with Jocky Tours and Safaris. Everything was well organized from the beginning, from the hotel pickup to the entire itinerary.
The biggest reason this trip was so memorable was our guide and driver, Dennis Koome Kithinji. He was professional, patient, and always focused on making sure we had the best possible experience.
On our first afternoon in Maasai Mara, we witnessed a pride of lions hunting a buffalo. Dennis repositioned the vehicle four times to give us different angles, and at one point we were only about one meter away from the lions. It was absolutely incredible. We even saw three of Africa’s Big Five on the first day.
Throughout the trip, Dennis never rushed us. Every time we stopped to watch animals, he always asked if everyone was happy with their photos before moving on. His ability to spot wildlife was also impressive – many times he could see animals long before we could.
We also appreciated his flexibility. Since we arrived in Kenya very early and were tired, he allowed us to start a little later the next morning. When we wanted to buy souvenirs, he arranged a stop and gave us plenty of time without any pressure.
Amboseli was another highlight. We saw huge elephant herds, and Dennis always seemed to know exactly where to position the vehicle to get the best views.
A safari is not only about seeing animals – having the right guide makes all the difference. Dennis truly made this trip unforgettable, and we would definitely choose Jocky Tours and Safaris again in the future.

An unforgettable safari experience in Kenya – highly recommended
We had an amazing safari experience in Kenya and would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a trip.
From the very beginning, everything was well organized. On the first day, they picked us up from our hotel early in the morning, helped us with our luggage, and made the whole process very smooth. Since we hadn’t had breakfast yet, they kindly took us to Java House before we officially started the journey. It was a small gesture, but it immediately made us feel welcomed and well taken care of.
After that, we met our guide and driver, Dennis Koome Kithinji, and our safari adventure officially began.
Our first destination was Maasai Mara. Even though we only arrived in the afternoon, we immediately got lucky and witnessed a pride of lions hunting a buffalo. It was one of the most incredible wildlife moments we have ever experienced.
What really stood out was how Dennis handled the situation. Instead of staying in one place, he repositioned the vehicle four different times so we could watch the hunt from several amazing angles. At one point, we were only about one meter away from the lions. It was thrilling, unforgettable, and something we will never experience anywhere else. On our very first day, we had already seen three of Africa’s Big Five animals.
The second day was a full-day game drive in Maasai Mara, and it was equally impressive. We saw leopards, cheetahs, and even lion cubs. Since we had arrived in Kenya very early the previous day and were still tired from traveling, Dennis kindly let us leave a little later than originally planned so we could get some extra rest.
One thing we appreciated throughout the entire trip was that we never felt rushed. Every time we stopped to watch animals, Dennis would ask if everyone was happy with their photos before moving on. He never made us feel like we were just trying to check animals off a list.
His ability to spot wildlife was also incredible. Many times, he would point at an animal far away, and it would still take us several seconds before we could finally see it ourselves. Without him, we definitely would have missed a lot of amazing sightings.
On the third day, we headed to Lake Nakuru. We wanted to buy some souvenirs, so Dennis arranged a stop at a souvenir shop and gave us plenty of time to browse without any pressure. Throughout the entire trip, there was never any feeling of being forced to shop, which we really appreciated.
Lake Nakuru was beautiful and relaxing, and we saw many different bird species.
Later, we visited Amboseli National Park, where we saw huge herds of elephants everywhere. One of the highlights was watching large male elephants cross the road right in front of us. Instead of simply following other safari vehicles, Dennis often anticipated where the animals would appear and positioned us at the best locations ahead of time. We were already waiting at the perfect spot when the elephants arrived, giving us incredible views and amazing opportunities for photos and videos.
By the end of the trip, it honestly felt like we were traveling with a friend rather than just a guide.
A safari in Kenya is already a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but having someone who genuinely cares about your experience makes a huge difference.
Thank you to the entire team for organizing everything so smoothly, and a special thank you to Dennis Koome Kithinji for making this trip truly unforgettable.
If we come back to Kenya for another safari in the future, we would definitely choose this company again and would absolutely ask for Dennis as our guide.

An outstanding safari with robin
