Perfect and reliable!
We recently completed a 3-day safari through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park with Akondo Adventures, and the experience was extraordinary. We decided last minute to go on safari and from the first email with Boris to the final drop-off at the airport, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
Also our guide, Victor, made this trip special. His sharp eye meant we saw far more than we expected — from a rare cheetah hunt, an amazing and exiting lions hunt to an incredible variety of wildlife. While we didn’t spot rhinos or leopards this time, we saw so much else that the experience still felt incredibly rich. Victor always knew when to wait, when to move, and seemed to anticipate where the action would happen. He was warm, respectful of the animals and environment, and made the entire journey feel personal and meaningful.
If we were to plan another 3-day safari, we might skip Tarangire NP and spend an extra day in the Serengeti — though Tarangire does have its own charm, especially with its beautiful landscapes, unique ecosystem, and iconic baobab trees.
The accommodations arranged by Akondo Adventures were excellent — especially the tented camp (Moyo) that let us feel immersed in nature without sacrificing comfort. The meals were fresh and generous, and all logistics were smooth and seamless, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy the experience.
If you’re looking for a reliable, ethical, and well-organized safari operator in Tanzania, I fully recommend Akondo Adventures. And if you’re lucky enough to have Victor as your guide — you're in for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Unique Experience
Very nice and easy going tour operator. The tour was customized to our preferences. Our guide Richard has a very broad knowledge of the animals and wildlife.
Sadly, we didn’t see any Rhinos and therefore would recommend to stay in Ngorongoro crater another day next time and skip Lake Manyara as there was not much to see. During confirming our booking, some accommodations were suddenly booked out so we had to adjust some, which was a bit un unexpected. Otherwise, all accommodations were nicely picked. Some a bit overpriced but always super friendly staff and great food. Overall, very nice and unique experience.

Lifetime experience
We loved our 4-days incredibile safari experience with Akondo. From magical accomodations to breathtaking places, it has been an incredible experience all the way from Tarangire to Serengeti passing by Ngorongoro and Manyara. Special thanks to Boris for the continuous support to arrange the trip and last but not least to our special guide, Zubery, for driving us through an amazing country and culture with happiness and wisdom. Perfect organization of the entire Safari from the very beginning of the booking stage
Perfect organisation of the entire safari by Boris, from pick-up and drop-off at the hotel on Zanzibar and actually from the very beginning of the booking stage. Our guide-driver, Evance tried very hard to provide us with amazing impression, succesfully of course. We started of every day safari in a clean 4x4 private safari vehicle and we stayed in comfortable and very clean lodges.

We had the most incredible two-day safari experience in Tanzania with Akondo Adventure. From start to finish, everything was absolutely flawless. The staff was kind, professional, and incredibly well-organized, and our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, efficient, and always ready to help with a smile. The itinerary was carefully planned down to the smallest detail. All schedules were respected, and we traveled in complete comfort throughout. We visited the breathtaking Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, both of which left us speechless. The big five in just two days
This was our first safari experience and we will never forget it. Everything was excellent, from the time we contacted Boris we have been followed step by step with all our requests. When we arrived at Seronera Airstrip we met Jose, our driver and tour guide. He went far and beyond to meet our needs, from the service received during the trip to the organizational aspects. Akondo has been an exceptional and reliable partner, guiding us step by step in organizing and making our trip a reality. We are a family of five (children aged 8 to 13), and after thoroughly evaluating numerous agencies, we chose them. What impressed us was their in-depth knowledge of the area, transparency, prompt communication, punctuality, and willingness to create an itinerary tailored to our needs. Boris, the agency's manager, developed a personalized proposal, promptly addressing all our questions during the quotation phase, trip preparation, route planning, selection of accommodations, local guide arrangements, and providing all the necessary advice to prepare for this unique adventure. Our 15-day trip to Tanzania began with a stay in Zanzibar, where we enjoyed snorkeling in the coral reef and relaxing on white sandy beaches, followed by an 8-day safari in the northern parks. Akondo assisted us in choosing the best routes, activities, and places to stay, allowing us to safely enjoy a truly magnificent experience for the entire family.
In particular, the second part of the trip involved exploring the northern parks of Tanzania: Arusha Park, Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, and NgoroNgoro Crater. Richard, our guide, was an outstanding companion. His extensive knowledge of the area and wildlife, along with his experience as a guide in the parks and with children, allowed us to fully enjoy the safari. Throughout the week, we encountered the Big 5, the Shiny 5, some of the Small and Impossible 5, along with various other animals such as rhinos, black monkeys, baboons, monitor lizards, and eagles. All of this was delivered with detailed explanations, utmost safety, full comfort, and excellent accommodations, including campsites within the Serengeti. We highly recommend this agency, and we will certainly contact them again for our next trip to this beautiful country.

We went for a two day safari trip.

After the friendly introduction we started our safari journey straight ahead to the Tarangire national park.
Due to the experienced tour guide we were able to finish the BIG five within 2 days. While seeing these animals we get known lots of interesting facts about other hidden animals. I highly recommend them and Mr. Richard. (our tour guide)

I truly recommend Acondo. They are professional, helpful, and really engaged throughout the entire journey. From the very beginning — from the first contact — the communication with the tour operator was excellent.
