Exceptional, with all aspects of the safari exceeding high expectations
Such a wonderful safari, I really recommend it. It has been a pleasure from start to finish. Jerome was extremely flexible and accommodating with booking, from dates and dietary requirements to answering the smallest queries I had immediately, and the safari itself was wonderful. Our guide Juma was excellent, attentive to our priorities of what we wanted to see, going above and beyond to deliver, whilst remaining chilled and cheerful company. The chef was also excellent, with consistently delicious and varied meals. The campsites we stayed at had everything you could need, along with the jeep itself. I have been fortunate enough to go on some very good safaris previously, and my hopes for this were absolutely exceeded. Thank you Meru Slopes!

Exceptional service, organisation, wildlife knowledge and safety
Absolutely fantastic experience with Meru slopes. The response time was exceptional from Jerome our fixer and he made everything so straightforward with good communication before and throughout the safari. Our guide and chef Juma and Gadi were also exceptional. There was more than enough food and the quality was excellent. Juma was a knowledgeable guide and very competent driver who we always felt very safe in the vehicle with. The actual safari was planned and delivered exceptionally with so much flexibility and opportunity to focus on seeing the animals and wildlife we wanted to see. Would recommend Meru slopes extremely highly. Value for money is also outstanding

The trip of our lives with an amazing guide, the big 5 and the great migration
Our safari with Meru Slopes was the trip of our lives for my partner and I. Our guide Mohamed was amazing. He spotted many animals, he was explaining a lot of facts about them and he was paying attention to the details to make sure we were always comfortable. We had so much fun with him! Plus, he's a great driver!
In the parks we were able to see all the main animals, including the big 5 and the great migration. The animals were always respected.
All the accommodations where we stayed were also great.
The communication before the safari was always very clear, always solving our questions with details and replying quickly.

Great mid-range private safari
We took a 5-day private mid-range lodge tour with Meru Slopes. They took care of everything and we had a great guide Allan who did his best to give us the best possible experience and find as many special animals and interesting spots as possible. The food and rooms at the lodges were great. Highly recommended.

Amazing! Fabulous! A very serious and friendly company. Rashid is a super guide sharing his great knowledge and has eagle eyes to see all animals (even the smallest ones lol) very pro-actifs too, he wants the best for us. Always searching an opportunity to offers an experience with the great culture of Tanzania peoples. We were very lucky to see everything we wanted to see but the chance was reached by his feeling. Selim is a very good cooker! All meals are delicate and more than enough. Surprising food in savanna! Like a restaurant, but with his fantastic smile. Thanks guys, thanks a lot. I recommend Meru Slopes for anyone is hesitant to choose among a huge bunch of companies.

We had a truly fantastic experience with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris. From start to finish, the trip was exceptionally well-organized, and we felt genuinely looked after every step of the way. A special mention goes to Patrick, our guide for the entire six-day journey. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, landscapes, plant life, and local history added an incredible richness to the experience. He was not only a skilled spotter but also a wonderful person to spend time with—patient, insightful, and passionate about what he does.
Dominic and Patrick made sure the vehicles were always in perfect condition—freshly cleaned and ready to go each morning. It’s that kind of attention to detail that really stood out and made a difference. The overall service— timing, communication, and personal touches—was great.

Wonderful safari experience!
We had an amazing 6-day safari with Meru Slopes and we were absolutely satisfied by the professional way everything was carried out.
Almachious organised the trip from the very beginning and gave us a warm welcome in Arusha. Our driver and guide, Dominic, was very polite and knowledgeable about wildlife, we were so lucky to have him! He was there to cover our needs and demands..., always with a smile! He had an eye for hidden animals and tried to find the best location for our photos.
The jeep was clean and tidy every morning, the lunches were such great fun and the total experience is unforgettable. Thank you guys for the wonderful trip ...and keep up the great job!

An unforgettable Tanzanian safari with Meru Slopes Safari
We had the most incredible safari experience in Tanzania thanks to Meru Slopes Safari and our fantastic guide, Jacob! He was knowledgeable, professional, and had an amazing eye for spotting wildlife. Every day felt like a dream—lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos—you name it, we saw it, all thanks to Jacob’s guidance.
Our favorite accommodation was Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge. It was absolutely beautiful with stunning views, excellent food, and warm hospitality. Coming back there after a full day on safari felt like such a treat.
This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we’re so glad we chose Meru Slopes. If you’re thinking about doing a safari in Tanzania, book with them and ask for Jacob—you won’t regret it!

Couldn’t have asked for a better tour, it was a fantastic experience
We just finished a 6 day private safari tour with Meru Slopes. From the beginning of planning, communication with Jerome was excellent. Our tour guide/ driver, Ombeni, went out of his way to provide us the best viewing opportunities imaginable. He knows all of the unmarked roads in Tarangire, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater and how to get from one spot to another.
The accommodations were great, especially the Safari Haven tented camp in the Serengeti, glamping at its finest. Breakfast and dinner at the accommodations were excellent. Lunch was always good.
I highly recommend Meru Slopes for a safari. They deserve a 10 star review, but only 5 are available!
