Long lasting memories
I really enjoyed our Safari experience with Axis Safari. Everything was perfectly planned and our guide Ken was brilliant, he explained us a lot of tips about the local culture and about the animals we managed to see during the safari. I highly recommend them!

Outstanding Safari Guide – Highly Recommended
I had the pleasure of doing a safari in Masai Mara with Peter (Ngigi) as my guide, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Peter’s warm personality and good humor made every moment enjoyable. He was always in a great mood, creating a positive atmosphere throughout the trip.
What impressed me the most was his deep knowledge of the animals and the ecosystem of Masai Mara. Peter was able to spot wildlife that we would never have seen on our own, and he always shared fascinating information about their behavior, habits, and the park itself. Thanks to him, we had unforgettable sightings and learned so much along the way.
Peter is not only a professional guide but also someone who truly cares about making the safari special. His passion for nature and wildlife is contagious, and it turned our trip into an unforgettable adventure.
I highly recommend Peter/Ngigi as a safari guide — he is outstanding!

Excellent tour with Axis
We asked Axis to organize for us a tour composed by a 7 days safari and 5 days in Diani Beach.
Everything has been perfect, the communications with Rita before e during the trip, the camps and lodges and expecially the drivers. Mr. Hassan was our driver in the safari and he gave us a lot of informations about the Parks and the animals. With him we have seen all the big five and the ugly five!
All the transfer have been safe and well organised, from our arrival until the drop off to the airport at the end of our holidays.

An amazing safari adventure with Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris - one we will never ever forget!!
Our adventure started some months ago when a very good friend mentioned going to Kenya with her 2 sons in the summer, and I thought "oh wow what an amazing experience it would be for my son and I" as we'd not yet been on a safari. I asked if we could tag along and after 7 amazing days in Maasai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha (including Cresent Island boat ride & walk) & Amboseli I couldn't have imagined anything better/different.
My friend had done her research and already had a good idea of the 'must see' places. She contacted several operators but Monica, our safari organiser from Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris, adjusted the itinerary to our wishes and was always available to answer all our questions promptly, by email and on WhatsApp. The package also included a reduced price for our boys (12-13 years), tented camps as our accommodation as we wished to provide the boys with a more realistic experience, and hotel/airport transfers. Monica even arranged last minute airport transfers to our hotel since we arrived late the night before. Harun and Maurice, our aiport/hotel drivers, who patiently waited for us at the airport/hotel, were reachable on WhatsApp and extremely courteous.
As for the safari experience itself, there are no words to express how amazing it really was and even more amazing was the driver and guide assigned to us. With his orange goatee and smiling eyes, Yasin was the perfect match for our 3 boisterous boys and their 2 no-nonsense mums. He's an extraordinary driver and traffic/rough terrain navigator, he's extremely kind, patient and gentlemanly, and has exceptional abilities to get you to the right spots during the game drives. Besides the big 5, which we crossed off our list in the 1st 3 days, we also saw a numerous wild animals and birds in different habitat. The climate varied from cold and wet to hot and dusty. Yasin is very knowledgeable about all animals, birds and the surroundings, and answered every single question we had. I honestly thought the boys would be bored on the long game drives and journeys between parks, but they enjoyed every minute of it also thanks to Yasin who is also very capable with kids, always managing to get their attention by asking the right questions to lure them in.
Yasin also ensured smooth check-ins and that we did not miss a single meal while travelling between parks or when out the entire day. And on the last day, when our flight got delayed by 3 hours he offered to take us for a tour of Kobe Tough beads & leather and also the Giraffe Centre.
Finally, I must mention the tented camps we stayed at - Wild Nest Mara Camp in Maasai Mara and Manjaro Tented Camp in Amboseli - both of which were superior to the example pictures Monica had shared with us. The staff was always extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was always freshly prepared, and the tented rooms were large and had warm water and comfortable beds.
It definitely couldn't have been any better. Thank you so much Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris ❤️

Unforgettable African Safari with Axis Africa – Exceeded Every Expectation
Our group of 8 had the most incredible 6 days / 5 nights safari experience with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris, and I can honestly say it was beyond expectations!
Booking was seamless thanks to Philip, who offered us an excellent price and clear options for accommodation—Standard, Mix Luxury, and Luxury packages. We chose the Luxury package, and it was absolutely worth it.
Our guide Ben was nothing short of amazing—skilled as a driver, guide, and even a friend. He navigated the rough off-road terrains with ease and used radio communication smartly to ensure we saw as much wildlife as possible. On the very first day, we spotted the Big Five, and by the end of our safari, we even managed to see the Ugly Five! Ben’s expertise truly made the difference. He even identified a minor car issue during a game drive and quickly arranged in-park support to fix it, showing how experienced and reliable he is. Plus, he helped us capture some unforgettable photos and videos along the way.
From start to finish, everything was well organized—the parks (Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli) each offered a unique and breathtaking experience.
I highly recommend Axis Africa Safari for their excellent balance of budget, luxury options, an outstanding guide like Ben, and a supportive sales team led by Philip. This was a trip of a lifetime, and I’d happily choose them again!

Perfect Safari
I was happy with everything, especially with our tour guide/driver Albatt. He took us to see all animals, not just the big 5. Really punctual and friendly service. Amazing trip!

Very experienced, reliable and knowledgeable.
Whilst we did not book directly with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris we were very glad that we were part of this tour. Our driver Ben was very experienced and knowledgeable whilst also being an excellent driver, getting us everywhere we needed to be.
Ben's experience really showed in the Maasai Mara game drives being able to get us to confirmed big cat sightings quickly and managing to see all of the big 5, big 9 and ugly 5 during our Kenyan Safari which also included, lake Nakuru, lake Naivasha and Amboseli. It was also evident when there was an unfortunate incident that caused the car to break down and we were able to get back up and running only losing minimal game drive time due to being able to get mechanical help quickly with Ben's knowledge.
Should we do another Kenyan safari we would definitely go with Axis (and hopefully Ben).

We only have good things to say, both about Axis Safaris, where the whole process was very smooth, but especially about our guide, Khalifa. Khalifa was without a doubt an excellent guide, not only because he is very experienced and knows exactly where to go, but also because he welcomed us warmly with great humor and fun.
Without a doubt, we would choose Axis Safaris and Khalifa again.

A truly magical experience! Kevin was such a wonderful tour operator, and he was so knowledgeable about everything! He really made the entire trip feel like a family adventure. All of the accommodations were so lovely and amazing. I will remember this trip for the rest of my life!
