Fantastic company that made the best personalised safari experiance!
When booking a safari, it can be quite daunting and difficult to know where to start. We got a few itineraries from different companies, however Sunset Adventure Safari stood out. Emma and Sarah were fantastic and made this such an easy and stressless experience. They communicated very well and made recommendations for the time of year and any adaptations we wanted (including the Northern Serengeti, which was less crowded and we got to see an amazing wildebeest Mara River crossing). We booked a 14 day northern parks adventure and Zanzibar holiday, our whole holiday ran seamlessly and it was so well organised. The safari, notably the Serengeti, was without doubt the highlight. Seeing the animals in their natural habitat, wow!
Our guide was Sele and his knowledge and dedication shone through. He worked tirelessly to ensure we got the most out of our trip and no request was too much. We particularly loved his respectful nature towards the animals and environment. We were delighted to have seen the big five and so many animals close up at the pace we wanted. This was down to his vast experience and enthusiasm. Thankyou again Sele!
We stayed in the most wonderful accommodation. Our favourites were Osupuko Serengeti Camp, which had a warm and welcoming feel and Serengeti Wildebeest Camp, which had beautiful sunsets. Staying under canvas meant we heard some very close encounters in the night, Lions on the hunt and Hyena laughing, but felt safe nonetheless!
We finished up with 4 days on Zanzibar, with the beautiful white sand beaches. A relaxing end and quite the change of pace to what was an unforgettable holiday.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Sunset Adventure Safari to anyone.

Great Experience!
This safari was unbelievable! We really enjoyed everything, from planning to end. Accommodations were very comfy and cozy, staff was friendly and helpful everywhere. Tortilis glam camping was our favourite but we also enjoyed Wildebeest, while we were completely immersed in nature.
Our guide David was so good, in driving, spotting animals and helping us understand everything we needed to know. We also felt safe in every situation. Very much recommended.

Made our dreams come true!!
We ( my 10 yr old daughter and I) have just completed a 6 days safari with Sunset Adventure. Adam our guide was just amazing. He was so knowledgable, taught us so much. Always listened and took care of us. He went out of his way to ensure we were ok! He answered my daughters endless questions lol!! Nothing was ever too much.
With regards to planning the trip, Sarah and Emma guided me through every stage, making changes along the way to suit our needs. Every accomodation we stayed were perfect. Every person i have met in Tanzania have been so kind, welcoming and helpful. Beautiful people ❤️
We have loved every stage of our trip - currently in Zanzibar! I cannot thank Sunset Adventure enough for helping us plan the perfect trip. I would highly recommend.
Special final mention to our guide Adam!! He was the icing on the cake ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I want to start it all over again!

Checked all the boxes
From beginning to end Sunset adventures provided an amazing experience. Emma started us off on our adventure by helping us create our dream itinerary. She was attentive and answered our questions in a timely manner. We will reach out the Emma again when we are ready to plan our Kilimanjaro trek. On the tour itself, our guide Abraham was kind, knowledgeable and amazing at spotting all of the wildlife we could imagine! Each of the lodges had its own unique personality. We upgraded a few of the lodges, it felt well worth it with many of the lodges offering views of the parks we had just gone on safari in. It was amazing to walk out of our room and see wildlife. Food was good, staff was amazing at each stop overall we would 100 percent recommend sunset adventure for a reasonably priced full service adventure.

Sunset Adventure Safari was accommodating, responsive and informative.
Our family recently completed an 8 day tour of the Tanzania Northern Parks with an added day in Kilimanjaro. During the planning stages, Emma and Sarah answered our questions promptly and ensured that all our requests were addressed. The accommodations they booked were comfortable and clean with friendly, helpful staff and good food.
We were particularly impressed by the knowledge and driving skill of our driver guide, Adam. He pointed out the unique features of each park and the wildlife, birds and habitat. He had an exceptional ability to spot animals while navigating the twisting roads. We felt safe even in poor driving conditions. We also noticed that he would not hesitate to lend a hand to fellow drivers in trouble.
We enjoyed the mix of activities which included a walking safari, meeting different tribes, as well as the game drives. We also appreciate that the company supports the HIMD rescue center for Maasai girls.
Thank you to everyone at Sunset Adventure Safari for a fantastic, memorable experience!

Outstanding
Everything starts with planning and oh boy did the staff deliver. The steps are clear and changeable to your needs. This was very helpful for our first safari. You have a assigned guide that follows you through your journey and they have a wealth of information about the wildlife and nature. There’s so many different safari guide companies that choosing one can be overwhelming. Every day you see dozens of different companies and I believe we had the best one. The vehicle is cleaned inside and out every day and is in perfect order. We really loved our first safari experience and we will definitely be coming back and booking with Sunset Safari Adventure. We booked the package with it ending in Zanzibar, we were just overwhelmed with the history of Stone Town and had the best stay at the Royal Beach Resort. We did not regret spending the extra money for the resort. This was a trip of a life time and the whole team is responsible for the success. Thank you for the memories. Sele and Sunset Adventure: The Perfect Safari Team
Our 10-day safari with Sunset Adventure was an absolute dream, exceeding all our expectations. The company crafted a truly unforgettable journey through Tanzania's stunning natural reserves. We were incredibly fortunate to witness the Great Migration—a truly breathtaking and humbling experience. Throughout our trip, we were amazed to see over 100 different animal species, a testament to the company's deep knowledge of the land and animal behaviors.
Beyond the wildlife, we were deeply moved by our interactions with three of Tanzania's tribes. Learning about their culture and traditions, and enjoying their wonderful food, added a rich, human element to the adventure.
A special shoutout goes to our guide, Sele. He was the heart and soul of our trip. His experience and expertise were obvious from the start—he has an uncanny ability to spot animals and knows the perfect spot to park for the best views. Not only is he a walking encyclopedia of animal facts, but he did everything with an infectious smile and a genuine passion for his work. Sele made us feel safe and cared for every step of the way. If you're booking a safari with Sunset Adventure, be sure to request him!
Exactly the right for us

Great people and an amazing safari experience!
We had a wonderful holiday in Tanzania with many incredible moments and impressions. It was truly a memorable journey that we won’t forget. Many thanks to our tour guides - Sele and Abraham were fantastic, great companions who not only showed us the nature of Tanzania but also gave us a lot of information about local culture and people. We really enjoyed the time we spent together. We also thank Emma and Sarah and others behind the scenes for organizing our holiday, what a great job, everything was well prepared so that we could just relax and enjoy the time!
And our safari? It was simply amazing. We saw so many different animals, including a cheetah hunting an antelope, hyenas patrolling around, lions resting in trees, elephants foraging in the forest or a leopard passing by and many, many more! Countless amazing encounters! We’ll especially remember the Serengeti - what a fascinating place! The other parks were great too – I mean, the Ngorongoro Crater was literally full of animals!
The lodges and camps were all very nice. Personally, I liked the Osupuko Camp best because it has a very friendly, family atmosphere and is simply beautifully located. I must also mention the Marera Valey Lodge with all its coffee plants, which was lovely, and the Tortilis Camp in the mountains, which was also a very, very nice place (btw: an excellent chef who prepared an extra soup for people with food intolerance, much appreciated)!
After moving to Zanzibar, we really enjoyed the sea and its incredible colours. We had enough time to get to know the locals, discover their culture and talk about life. We also really liked the local cuisine. I will never forget the grilled seafood dish prepared for us by a fisherman who took us snorkelling on a small island - a truly delicious lunch! And of course the spices – visiting a spice farm was a great experience. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful time in Tanzania and are glad we decided to take this trip.
Thank you again for everything, Emma. I will recommend you and Sunset Adventure Safari to others. And I am absolutely sure that this wasn’t our last journey to Africa; we’ll definitely be back one day😊 Maybe next time we’ll follow the wildebeests as they cross the Mara River or we will explore the southern regions of Tanzania. Until then, I wish you all the best, many satisfied guests and continued success with your safaris.
