I’d highly recommend Msangai! Great company, all around.
I first reached out to Msangai because of the Claire and Peter TikToks, and since this was my first safari, I contacted a few companies just to compare. Msangai immediately stood out -they were the first to respond, professional, and were super helpful from the very beginning. Zee answered all my questions (and there were a lot, especially about flights!) and made the whole planning process easy and reassuring.
When we arrived, Erick met us at the airport for a very early morning 1am airport pickup, which we really appreciated.
Our guide, James, was awesome - always on time, super knowledgeable, really friendly, and endlessly patient with the million questions my brother asked every day. He made sure we saw everything we wanted and drove safely the entire time. His spotting skills were impressive too - he’d point things out long before anyone else saw them.
The accommodations were great across the board, but we especially loved Sound of Silence and Sero Tented Camp. Both had excellent service, beautiful rooms, and delicious food. Also, the hot lunches Msangai arranged were such a nice touch—while other groups were having basic sandwiches, we were enjoying hot meals!
Overall, we had a fantastic time, and I’d highly recommend Msangai! Thank you to the Msangai team for a great experience!

We had an absolutely incredible safari experience! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The landscapes, the wildlife, and the overall atmosphere were simply unforgettable.
A very special thank you to James – he was outstanding. He paid attention to every detail, made sure we were always comfortable and safe, and shared so much interesting knowledge with us. He is an excellent and very skilled driver, and we always felt completely secure, even on challenging roads.
You can really tell that he loves what he does. His experience and dedication made this safari extra special for us.
Highly recommended – we would definitely book again!

Great organisation of an unforgettable trip
I don’t usually leave the reviews, but this time I’m making an exception, because well our travel was truly exceptional. And is 100% thanks to Msangai Adventure.
We started to plan our trip while ahead, planning personalized travel across Tanzania’ natural parks + a week in Zanzibar. We reached out to several companies for a quote, and Msangai already at this point showed a big difference with clear communication, speed of response and flexibility.
But the best was still ahead. We loved literally every moment of our trip: welcoming guides, fantastic accommodations, great food on a game drives (that I feel like I must mention it, as eating a great Swahili food, while the tourists around you get a dry sandwich was such a nice touch), and of course the fantastic scenery across our journey.
We were able to see the Big Five, even though traveling a little bit off season thanks to our guide Manuel and there are no words to describe all the emotions we had!
Msangai also arranged the transfer for us to Zanzibar, where we had another week of adventures planned by Msangai waiting for us, while staying in the beautiful resort with an amazing beach access, that is rare for Nungwi beach area.
All in all, we would like to thank all of the people who made our trip unforgettable, especially Eric, Manuel and Musa.

A once in a life time adventure that was made truly special. Brilliant from start to finish
From making the initial enquiry to being returned to the airport we were provided with an exceptional level of service. A 6 day safari adventure starting at the Tarengire National park followed by 3 days in the Serengetti before a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater and concluding at the Lake Manyara National park the abundance of wildlife will be in our memories for a very long time. Accommodation arranged for the full period was excellent with good food and really friendly staff. We were always greeted with a welcoming smile. Location of the Friends Camp in particular gave a true flavour of luxury camping in the Serengetti, the background noise of the lions, hyenas and buffalo in the evenings is something we will never forget. James our guide and companion for the 6 days deserves a special mention. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the job in hand was infectious. All in all, a fantastic holiday and lifetime experience

An unforgettable Safari!
We had the most amazing time during our safari in Tanzania. Everything was perfectly organized, from the daily planning to the incredible lodges along the way. Our guide Gody was absolutely fantastic: super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and nature, and always up for a laugh. He knew exactly where to go and what to look for, and thanks to him we managed to see the entire Big Five, including a leopard in a tree and even rhinos in the distance!
The lodges we stayed at were all unique and beautiful in their own way. Each one had something special, from infinity pools overlooking the Serengeti to peaceful breakfasts with the sunrise and hot air balloons drifting by. Everywhere we went, the staff gave us the warmest welcome (sometimes even singing for us!), the food was delicious, and we were treated with so much care and kindness.
The safari itself was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable moments. We saw countless animals, from entire lion families to bathing hippos and elegant giraffes, and every day brought something new and exciting.
In short, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everything was so well arranged, and thanks to Gody and the entire team, we’ve made memories that will last forever. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a truly authentic African safari adventure!

Friendly and knowledgeable
The facilities were clean and upscale. The staff were very kind and friendly. The food was great and buffet style so you could make your own choices and not have to wait for food. The safari vehicles were awesome. You could always see and get pictures with great views. Our guide took us all over to see every animal we wanted too. It was great value for the money.

Super service, great accommodations at Enkorok and safari experience was phenomenal. Food was excellent and the Enkorok made sure that all dietary requirements were met. Thank you all for the attention to detail!

It was well organized. Our tour guide and driver was awesome. He is an expert and experienced guide.
The tour was awesome. Every place we stayed was good. We got to see all the animals and we were moved by our safari trip. Our tour guide Gody was excellent. He had really good English and helped us a lot through out the tour. I would book him again when I come next. My wife and I loved everything about the safari.

Amazing
Msangai Safari was the best experience ever. All 7 of us (friends in mid-20s) had such a fun and enjoyable experience. It was very good value for money. It would not have been possible without the expert guidance and wisdom of Emanuel who was absolutely fantastic in making our Safari such a memorable experience. He is so knowledgeable, accomodating and fun to have on Safari. The accomodation was great, everyone was very comfortable and grateful for to be able to stay in such beautiful and unique places. The food was also good. We loved each of the different Safari parks, particularly the Serengeti where Emanuel was able to find all of the big 5! We also thoroughly enjoyed the cultural experience day

Unforgettable Honeymoon Safari with James
We recently did a 9 day safari with Msangai for our Honeymoon with James which was simply amazing and unforgettable.
The booking experience with Zee was great, he was very knowledgable and responsive, and even helped arrange our hot air balloon, internal transport and subsequent week with scuba diving in Zanzibar. On the ground we were in touch with Eric, who was also able to rearrange our flight to Zanzibar when we spotted an issue.
The safari itself was incredible, with James' help we saw all the big 5, the migration (wildebeest, zebras and giraffes!!) and so much more! He was incredible throughout and so knowledgable. We were also very happy with the lodges and camps throughout (special mention for Kiriche, Osiligilai and Kankari Lodge!!) which also prepared us a delicious hot lunch for the following day.
