Outstanding Tanzania Safari — Excellent Guide and Superb Agency Coordination
Our Tanzania safari organised by the agency was an excellent experience from start to finish. The agency was extremely flexible and maintained perfect communication long before our departure. We received a clear and well-structured travel plan as well as a helpful mobile app that kept everything easy to follow. Although we lost one day because of flight issues completely outside the agency’s responsibility, they reacted quickly and efficiently, finding a solution that allowed us to return to our original itinerary without missing the key experiences.
Our guide, Ezekiel, was caring, attentive, and always ready to answer any question. Thanks to his knowledge and support, we felt comfortable, safe, and well-looked after throughout the entire journey. The agency also chose very authentic and charming accommodations that made the whole trip feel even more special. The food everywhere was good, and we even received complimentary beer and wine, which was a lovely surprise.
I highly recommend to book a balloon flight. It's worth it. If you want to take photos, I recommend to bring a 400 mm lens.
Overall, we had a truly memorable and perfectly organised safari, and we can highly recommend both the agency and our guide Ezekhiel to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania.

Everything that was promised was fulfilled.
It was a very pleasant experience. Our guide gave us his full attention and demonstrated excellent experience driving the vehicle and locating the animals. The accommodations were also good, meeting our expectations.

Well-Organized Safari, Incredible Experience
From the very beginning, Lion King Adventures made everything so easy. Caroline handled our booking and she was amazing—super quick to reply, clear in her communication, and really helpful in shaping the trip around what we wanted.
Nickson stepped in during the planning stage and took care of all the details—lodges, transfers, game drive schedules—so we never had to worry about a thing. We especially wanted to catch the Great Migration, and he worked the itinerary perfectly to make it happen. I also mentioned celebrating birthdays on our last night, and the team went above and beyond to make it special and unforgettable.
Once we were on safari, everything ran like clockwork. The lodges were exactly as promised, and our guides Freddie and Mecky were fantastic—knowledgeable, fun to be around, and clearly passionate about the wildlife. Because of their planning and organization, we could just relax and enjoy every moment.
Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better safari. If you’re thinking about a trip to Africa, I’d highly recommend Lion King Adventures!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Lion King and Gilbert
My husband and I went on a 7-day safari organized by Lion King this September, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. From start to finish, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The communication with their office staff was phenomenal—always responsive, helpful, and friendly.
Our safari guide, Gilbert, was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge of wildlife, nature, and local culture is impressive, and his sharp eyes helped us spot animals so quickly. By the second day, we had already seen four of the Big Five, and thanks to Gilbert’s skill and patience, we were lucky enough to see a rare rhino when many other guides were still searching. Beyond his expertise, Gilbert is polite, thoughtful, and always made us feel safe and comfortable. He took care of every detail so we could fully enjoy the experience.
The accommodations arranged by Lion King were also excellent—each one offering unique, pleasant, and memorable stays that perfectly complemented the safari experience.
This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and we cannot recommend Lion King and Gilbert highly enough. We’ll be sharing this recommendation with all our friends and family.

Fantastic, Knowledgeable, Awesome!
What a great time and Jackson was our guide and he was honestly awesome!
From putting us on game to describing the area to showing us and telling us about the history of each area we visited.
The value for the money was better than expected. We didn’t have to worry about a thing from the time we were picked up at the airport to the time we were dropped off it was vey seamless the whole time we were traveling.
The whole time we never felt unsafe or anything of that nature. I would highly recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone.
The lodges and camps were better than expected and the food was out of this world.
We had the mid-range safari (walking and canoeing) included.
Lion King Adventures we feel went out of their way to make it a great trip.

We 100% recommend Lion King
We always read review's but to be honest i never normally leave one. This time i had to as Lion King were fantastic. We travelled with our two teenage daughter's for a 3 day Safari then a 5 night relax in Zanzibar. Lion King sorted all the transfers and hotels which was brilliant. Florida was fantastic, she kept us informed with everything. We just had to sort out our flight's, which i would avoid Precision air getting to Zanzibar. They were awful and cancelled our flight 3 times!!! We stayed 1st night in Arusha Mount Meru hotel which was nice ready for an early start for the Safari the next day. The next 2 night's we stayed at the Marera mountain view lodge. We had interconnecting rooms which were huge and very modern. As per other reviews the food is a bit basic but still did the job. Our Safari guide Khalifa was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and made us very welcome. In Zanzibar we stayed all inclusive at the Melia. Wow !!! what a hotel. We had again interconnecting rooms which were te biggest hotel rooms i have ever seen. The staff ,food and cleanliness of the hotel is worthy of 5* .

Outstanding service which exceeded all of our expectations
Lion King provided excellent support and help from start to finish. This was a very special trip for us and it needed to be just right and it took us several attempts to agree an itinerary, and the Lion King office team were extremely responsive and helped us get what we wanted. When we arrived at Arusha airport we were immediately greeted by the driver who took us our first hotel. The next day we met our guide for the next 8 days, Joseph, who was absolutely superb; highly knowledgeable, interesting and above all caring and considerate an understanding of all our needs. All the accommodation was at least very good with several of the lodges being superb with views of elephants, buffalo and other wild animals from the balconies. It was sad to leave.
We would very highly recommend Lion King as a great company for a once in a life time safari experience.

Wonderful adventure.
.My wife had an excellent trip to Tanzania and the Serengeti. The accommodations couldn’t have been more comfortable. Our driver/Safari guide couldn’t have been nicer.. His name was Captain Leo or Leonard. He was able to accommodate our needs. And was very pleasant to spend seven days with. The food was better than expected and plentiful. I did not regret going through this company. You won’t either. '
