Well organised, punctual, reliable
I am happy to say that we had a wonderful experience with Leopard Orchid Safaris and would highly recommend hiring them . We loved our driver Lawrence.
We spent 6 days safari with Lawrence in Amboseli, Masaii Mara, Lake Nakuru. We were sitting in the car very much, Lawrence was really helpful with the stops and patient with my children. He found us the Big 5 š. and lots of other animals.
He drives a clean and good Landcruiser which was very comfortable. We had a great time talking with him through the day and felt like we have a friend in Kenya.

Leopard Orchid Safaris planned a wonderful safari for us and were kind and professional throughout.
Leopard Orchid Safaris provided us with a fantastic safari experience for a very competitive price. It can be very overwhelming to choose a safari tour operator, but we are very happy that we choose Leopard Orchid Safaris and we would highly recommend them. We went on their 5-day mid-range safari. All of the staff were very kind and professional: Michael was fantastic helping us plan the safari and Paul was a wonderful driver/guide. They also helped us alter the itinerary to better fit our travel plans, interests, and our time, including adding extra game drives. We saw tons of animals and Paul made sure to choose driving locations that would help us see the animals we were most interested in seeing. Paul also was conscious of the best angles help us better see and take photos of the animals. He also was very gracious and ended up extending our days past the original schedule to help us fit everything in, which we highly appreciated. Our lodging set up by Leopard Orchid safaris was also very good. Our trip to Lake Naivasha was also amazing and we would highly recommend the boat tour and walking safari there. Overall, it was a great experience and we would without a doubt recommend Leopard Orchid Safaris.

Where should I start?
Our journey with Leopard Orchid Safari was perfect from start to finish.
We booked the tour as part of our honeymoon, and we had an absolutely wonderful time.
The whole planning process and communication went smoothly.
We were picked up from our hotel in Nairobi right on time, and all our accommodations were clean, with delicious food and courteous staff.
But the one who made our trip so special was our guide, Paul.
With his kind and open nature and his immense knowledge about the wildlife and the national parks themselves, he really gave us a deep understanding of how the Kenyan ecosystem works.
Thank you very much, Paul ā all the things we learned from you, combined with the amazing landscapes and magnificent animals you showed us, truly made our journey unforgettable!

Absolutely outstanding safari
We have just returned from an incredible 9-day safari experience and cannot fault a single part of the trip. From the very beginning, everything prior to arrival was expertly organised by Michale. He was extremely helpful, quick to respond to all emails and WhatsApp, and made arranging quotes and logistics completely stress-free. Nothing was ever too much trouble, pricing and arrangements were always clear, and the level of service throughout the booking process was excellent.
We flew in from Manchester and arrived late into Nairobi, where a representative from Leopard Orchid Safaris was waiting to meet us at the airport and transfer us to our hotel in Nairobi city. As requested due to our late arrival, we spent two nights there before the safari began. On the morning of departure, we met Michale and our guide, Laurance, for a detailed briefing before heading off on our adventure. Our itinerary included two nights in Amboseli, one night at Lake Nakuru, one night at Lake Naivasha, and three nights in the Masai Mara. All accommodation was very comfortable with no issues at all, and we chose to upgrade to a Land Cruiser jeep, which was absolutely worth it and highly recommended.
Our guide, Laurance, truly made this safari unforgettable. His knowledge of wildlife was exceptional, and thanks to his skill and experience we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five and so much more. Highlights included witnessing a cheetah kill and an unsuccessful lion huntāexperiences we will never forget. Laurance answered every question with enthusiasm, always positioned the vehicle perfectly for viewing and photos, and nothing was ever too much effort for him. He also happily showed us local towns, answered questions beyond the safari itself, and shared plenty of good banter along the way, which made the drives between parks enjoyable. On my wifeās birthday, he even arranged a beautiful sundowner in the Masai Mara, which was a highlight of the entire trip. If I ever go on safari again, I would 110% request Laurance without hesitation.
To round off an already perfect experience, on our final day before our late flight, we were taken for a meal at the Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi, which was the perfect way to end an amazing journey. An absolutely outstanding trip from start to finishā5 stars

A simple & smooth arrangement for a once in a life time UNREAL experience!!!
BOOKING
We expressed interest in a 5-day safari, and were instantly greeted by Elijah who corresponded with us quickly - providing us with a range of options & quotes that were best suited to us. We booked and paid a deposit with ease. Communication was great. We made a small change in plans (internal flight instead of train) and Elijah managed to alter our journey and support us with transport from the airport to our next holiday, free of charge.
Elijah and the booking team went above and beyond for us - and without such superb organisation, the safari could not have been as stress free as it was. We were greeted on our arrival, introduced to our first hotel and given a run down of our itinerary and what to expect. Thank you Elijah!
SAFARI
Our safari experience was unreal. Considering we were āout of seasonā and only there for 5-days, the animals, wildlife & scenery we got to see was out of this world. Our tour guide Patrick had a great relationship with other guides and rangers across the parks, and together they worked to provide us with the opportunity to see 4 of the BIG FIVE - up close & personal. I would highly recommend!
TOUR GUIDE - Patrick <3
We were blessed with the coolest tour guide Patrick. He explained our itinerary with us clearly - we always knew what the plan was, and he was open to discussion around changing/re-arranging, depending on how we the travellers felt. He had a good eye for wildlife, pointing out different species of birds, different facts of the animals, and information on the various landscapes we got to experience. He went above and beyond to allow us to get as up close and personal as was allowed.
When commuting between parks/lodges, we were afforded numerous opportunities to stop at view points, to use the washrooms and purchase some snacks, and to shop at the local village shops. We had a million questions for Patrick - and he was able to talk history, politics, climate change & evolution - we learnt so much!
We would highly recommend Patrick - his passion for people, wildlife & conservation is clear! We wish you well and if we come over again, we will definitely be requesting him!
ACCOMMODATION
We went for mid-range accommodation, and each place we stayed at was superb and beyond expectation. We wish we could have spent more time in our various lodges/camps. Service and staff engagement was brilliant - we have no complaints. The food and drinks were delicious, and we never ever went hungry - with free bottled water provided throughout the safari and accommodation, and 3 meals & day (each with three to four courses).
TRAVEL
Given the nature of a safari and our choice of various parks/conservations, a lot of our time was spent in the 4x4 with Patrick - either on game drives, or when travelling between them. The vehicle felt like luxury, it had electrical points across, windows that could open and close, a roof that could also open & close, lights if needed, and a fridge.
Although travel took up a lot of the trip, we got to experience the ways of life by many different tribes across Kenya - so if you like learning about local culture and people, it could never be a negative in a 4x4 so lovely. Just be prepared for the bumpy roads and consider a plump cushion for the road!

Animal doctor and excellent specialist of finding animals.
Overall, it was quite nice! Tour was so exciting, unforgettable and fruitful for us. We met so many animals including big5s, giraffes, zebras and so on. We cannot count animals we met.
Before tour, communicator Elijah responded soon according to our questions and requests. I chose this tour because of his fast reaction.
The operator Samy guided so properly that we saw many kinds of scene such as eating lions, running giraffes, fighting elephants, and sleeping cheetahs. The operator's skill was perfect. Also, he adjusted the route and schedule of the tour according our many requests including even shoppings. He taught many things to us regarding animals and Kenya with humour. I learnt many things from him.
Experience of a lifetime
Our group group had a fabulous time with Leopard Orchid Safari. From planning the trip to the experience in the beautiful plains of Africa to the final drop off, they were professional and service-oriented. I highly recommend them.
