A professional, empathetic, fun, and experienced guide
This year we wanted to enjoy a different kind of Christmas and, honestly, besides being different, it was an incredible experience. From the very beginning, the booking process was super easy; Hapiness made everything very simple for us, which we truly appreciated.
When we arrived at Seronera Airport, Junior, our guide for the 5-day safari, was already waiting for us. And that’s where it all began. Junior was a key part of the trip and made a huge difference: always attentive, friendly, and highly professional. He shared stories and anecdotes, took us to the best spots, and adapted at all times to our needs.
We wanted to try the region’s pink banana, and he took us to a local market to buy one. He gave us great advice on how to move around in a region so different from our own, introduced us to the Maasai culture, and even created an amazing photo and video report that we will treasure forever.
Without a doubt, we would repeat both the destination and the experience, but above all, we would repeat it with Junior as our guide. His dedication, knowledge, and human touch made the trip truly unforgettable.

Professional operation
In November of 2025 we booked a 12 day safari with Safari Soles. Our party consisted of 4 senior travellers. Our friends had done most of the research leading up to the safari and had received strong a recommendation for Safari Soles Tours through an acquaintance who had just used their services.
The planning stage stretched over several months while we reviewed the different camps and Parks we would visit over the 12 days. Communication was excellent throughout the preparation of the trip from start to finish. Our contact was Happiness George and he was always available via email to answer promptly all of our questions as well as making some insightful suggestions.
After arriving in Arusha we were flown to Seronera Airstrip (in central Serengeti) and were met by Christian our guide/driver. He was courteous and affable and turned out to be extremely knowledgeable. He knew exactly where to take us to see the big 5. Also, one of our travelling companions had mobility issues and Christian always went out of his way to assist in anyway possible. He also was very accommodating letting us set our own schedule.
The jeep was fairly new and in good condition. All necessities were provide including water, snacks plus beer and wine! A pair of binoculars were also provided if you didn’t bring your own (definitely mandatory). Road conditions within the park were pretty bumpy to say the least (referred to as an African massage), but Christian was a very experienced driver and transported us safely from camp to camp. In the planning stages we were given a choice of a variety of camps based on our budget and though we did not go with all the recommendations made by Soles the camps we did choose were all well above adequate.
All in all the 4 of us were extremely impressed with the professionalism of Safari Soles Tours. It was obvious Christian and the staff made an effort to ensure the safari met and exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend their services if you want a once in a lifetime experience.

Responsive and easy to work with.
Came for the animals. Left emotionally changed. Waking up before sunrise was worth it (shockingly). Lions, elephants, endless skies, and guides who somehow knew everything. It felt raw, grounding, and quietly luxurious at the same time. 10/10 would disappear into the savannah again. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Christian was equal parts expert, storyteller, and miracle worker with binoculars.

Perfect safari with Shema and Safari Soles
We did a 4-day safari with Safari Soles, visiting Tarangire, spending two days in the Serengeti, and one day at the Ngorongoro Crater, and it was incredible! Our guide, Shema, was outstanding. We were able to see the Big Five and even witness a cheetah hunting a gazelle! Shema’s experience was essential for us to be in the right places at the right times to see all the animals. Another big highlight was the food — it was delicious every single day! We highly recommend him as a guide; besides being extremely knowledgeable, he’s also great company, very friendly and pleasant.

A dream safari, perfectly organized, with a team that went above and beyond.
We had an incredible experience organizing our safari with Safari Soles. From the very first contact, the entire team was extremely professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail.
I would especially like to highlight Hope, who was super kind and patient at the beginning of the process, helping us design the perfect safari, answering all our questions, and making us feel confident from day one.
In the final stage and once the trip had already started, Lilian was absolutely key. Not only was she always available, efficient, and attentive to make sure everything ran smoothly, but she also helped us recover a suitcase that the airline had lost during our flight. On top of that, she had the lovely gesture of coming to meet us in person — it was truly special to finally meet her.
The Safari Soles team coordinated everything to deliver our lost suitcase right in the middle of the Serengeti, which honestly felt almost impossible. Absolutely amazing — what a team! Truly outstanding.
Throughout the safari, the itinerary was followed exactly as planned, which we really appreciated. The lodges we stayed at were wonderful, comfortable, beautifully located, and surrounded by stunning scenery. The food was delicious, and the service everywhere was first-class, always warm and welcoming.
A very special mention goes to our guide and driver Mandela, who was simply fantastic — friendly, professional, and with excellent knowledge of the wildlife and the area. Thanks to him, every day of the safari was even more special.
I highly recommend Safari Soles to anyone looking for an authentic, well-organized safari with an exceptional human team. You are truly amazing — thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Great Organisation and Koordination before and during the trip
We booked a 7-day private jeep safari. Communication and organization beforehand were excellent. All of our wishes were fulfilled and taken into account. During the safari, no wishes were left unfulfilled. Every evening, the next day was discussed together with our guide—where we should go next and what else we wanted to see. All in all, top-notch and highly recommended!!!

A Reliable and Highly Recommended Agency
Great experience with Safari Soles. We looked for the safari ourselves, without any intermediary agencies, and spent a long time comparing different prices and options. We chose Safari Soles because Vivian was very attentive and kept adapting the trip to all our requests.
First of all, the two guides we were with, Eric and Oscar, were extremely friendly from the very first moment. With Eric, we really enjoyed our day in Arusha, and he introduced us very well to Tanzanian culture. Oscar was our guide for most of the safari, and we are incredibly grateful to him because he made a great effort to ensure we could see as many animals as possible in the time we had, allowing us to leave Tanzania saying that we had seen the Big Five. He adjusted the itinerary so that we could experience everything at a relaxed pace, which we truly appreciated. In addition, we shared many great moments with him, and he made us feel very comfortable at all times.
Secondly, the experience was amazing, and we are very happy with all the accommodations they selected for us. We also had plenty of food and drinks throughout the entire trip.
We hope to return to Tanzania someday, and we would definitely choose them again without hesitation. Asente sana!

Excellent 12 days trip to Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire & Zanzibar
Safari Soles helped us plan our 12 days trip to Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Zanzibar. Its was very well planned and well thought of according to our requests. Dickson was our guide for the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire part of the trip. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. We learned a lot from him and got to see the big five, the ugly five and so much more. We even got to see 3 lion huntings! The picnic lunches prepared by Dickson was also immaculate with even hot coffee made to your request.
No doubt the trip was exhausting with early morning game drives and bumpy rides…but it was all worth it. Excellent trip.

A safari is not relaxing, it's exciting.
We had Dickson as our guide for 5 days during our trip to Serengeti, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire.
The parks were full of wildlife and since it was shoulder season, we did not have to compete with other tourists for good watching spots.
Dickson is patient, respectful, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. He is a good balance of quiet and chatty. His years of experience came in handy as we were able to witness 3 lion hunts. Amazing!
Another favourite moment was seeing a famly of elephants having a mudbath.
I still can't believe we were able to get that close to the animals without them getting territorial.
We ended our safari with a beach holiday in Zanzibar. Highly recommended so you can wind down as the safari leg of the trip was tiring.
In all, this trip was amazing. Dickson was fantastic.
