Good communication from start to finish, good pace during tour we selected and excellent lodging
It was a wonderful trip! The first communications with the tour organizer and then with our guide. He was very kind and also did make a bigger effort to make sure we saw the big five! I was only sad it ended after 4 days! We loved our lodging at ENKOROK Mara camp and Lake Nakuru Lodge. The food at Enkorok was especially good. (And as a vegetarian they catered to us!) The grounds at both camps were stunning.

Incredible safari experience for the whole family
We have just completed a 3 day/2 night safari to the Maasai Mara as a family of 5 with children aged 15,12 and 9. Our guide Robert and the team at Axis made this the most incredible experience. Booking was straightforward at a very reasonable price and we received clear communication about our trip. Robert was a very experienced guide who made us feel safe, informed and curated an incredible number of close encounters with the animals. We will never forget this special family holiday. The best Afica safari Experience with Axis and guide Geeman

A jolly good fella!
Hello there traveller! Have you heard of the song, he's a jolly good fellow... well yes, Axis Safari, represented by Winnie and driven by Julius were a jolly good team for 6 wildlife photographers from Delhi India including a 78 year old except for the challenges we faced written below with proof: 1. Limited water supply: Bottles of 500 ml given to each traveller, at best 3/4 bottles a day. Mind you, the outside temperature was 38C plus in Kenya during June 2026. 2. Our jolly good driver Julius was so homely, lively and honest it was a pleasure to be with him. However, he isn't ideal for photographers who need different angles, sense of lighting and patience to wait till the best frame and composition appears. 3. The land cruiser had AC and was not used despite a 10 hour 36C 40% humidity long drive where we reached Amboseli from Nairobi after a 10 hr drive! As a result, we lost fluids, health battery and ability to enjoy the long trip and got super tired with a 78 year old. 4. The car Julius drove was solid enough to go through any terrain, but was not well built, not comfortable, not repaired well, no ac and not maintained. There were far better cars available with others in the same price. As a family, Julius and the team are super apt! As professional photographers this is where I would call again. We had the pleasure of spending three unforgettable days on safari in the Masai Mara with our guide, Peter Ngigi, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Peter was the perfect combination of friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. His ability to anticipate animal movements and position us in exactly the right place at the right time was truly remarkable. Even more impressive was his skill in finding the perfect viewing and photography angles, allowing us to capture some absolutely incredible moments that we’ll treasure forever.

Amazing experience
Our guide, Peter, was truly exceptional throughout the safari. He was not only very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the ecosystem, but also incredibly attentive, kind and supportive in every situation. He had a natural way of explaining things that made the experience feel meaningful and easy to understand.
As I was travelling solo, I especially appreciated how welcoming and friendly he was — at times it felt like travelling with a friend rather than a guide. He made me feel comfortable, safe, and included, while still giving me space to fully enjoy the experience.
