John was an incredible guide throughout the tour
Axis Africa was amazing! John Mwangi was fantastic! He took care of everyone and answered all the questions we had. He was very considerate of everyone. Not just in our car but other people who came to see the animals. There were no issues with any of the scheduling. Communication was fantastic. Would definitely do it again!

Raymond was a very experienced, fast, kind, cheerful safari guide, it was a great fun to be with him
Everything was perfect - safety on safari, the car we travelled was comfortable, the food and accommodation in Wild Nest Camp was very good. We saw many wild animals, even the 2 cheetahs, leopard, 14 lions, elephants, buffalos.
We saw an Ugly Five too

They did an excellent job, the ride with Raymond was very safe, fast and he is an experienced driver
On the safari Raymond told us about all of the animal species, answered all of our questions and helped with all of the issues. The food at the Wildnest camp was delicious and the accommodation was great quality. All of the staff members were really kind. Our car had a lot of space and could fit all of our baggage. I really appreciate the work of our tour guide, he did his best to show us all of the places and animals that were hiding on the Safari. I really recommend Axis Africa Safaris - they are very experienced and did an amazing work.
Fantastic Safari
We had a wonderful safari at Masai Mara in Kenya. We saw so many incredible animals, and our guide was professional, friendly, and very respectful of nature. The whole experience was well organized and enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Kenya.

We had an amazing safari at Masai Mara in Kenya. We saw lots of animals, and our guide Tom was friendly, knowledgeable, and always respectful of the wildlife. Everything was well organized, and we really enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend this safari to anyone visiting Kenya. It was an unforgettable trip!

Amazing coordination and logistics for a once-in-a-lifetime experience
Our family trip with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris was incredible. We traveled with a large group of 14, and despite all having different arrival and departure times, as well as different budgets, they were very flexible and accommodating. Everything went so smoothly, from airport pickup, to checking into the Nairobi hotel, to taking us to Wilson airport, and finally picking us up from the airstrip and taking us to our camp and around Maasai Mara. From the office, we worked mainly with Cynthia, and she was very responsive, both over email and WhatsApp, and was very patient with all our questions. Our group had two driver guides, Jack and Sir Charles. Two couples stayed at a different camp than the rest of the group, and the four of us mostly stuck with Sir Charles on the 6 day safari. He’s been doing this for 16 years and his experience absolutely shows. He is incredible at anticipating animal behaviors, which was so advantageous to help us get prime viewing spots. We were able to get some amazing shots of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many other animals thanks to his expertise. He’s also an expert at driving a manual transmission. My husband was very impressed that he never stalled. Overall this was an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience thanks to Axis!

Sir Charles knew exactly where to go to how to help provide a unique, once in a lifetime experience. His 16 years of experience are telling and would absolutely recommend him and Axis Africa Safaris. We had a group of 14 people of all different ages and capabilities, and our guides were extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable.

Cynthia answered all out question before and during the trip. Friendly and accommodating.
Cynthia was very patient and answered all our questions before and during the trip. Our guides, Jack and Sir Charles, were friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and pointed them out along the way. We stuck with Sir Charles for our trip because he took us to our camp separate from the group every night. He has 16 years experience and it showed. His eagle eyes and connections put us on the hottest spots and his foresight put us in the best position to get great views of animals on the move. While other vehicles lingered for photos he would leave before anyone and put us right next to the action anticipating the animal’s moves before they made them. We had a cheetah and multiple lions pass within a couple feet of our vehicle. One male lion even decided to rest in the shade of our Land Cruiser! We saw the big five, the big nine, and the ugly five. We saw a river crossing where a lion was waiting on the other side for unsuspecting wild-a-beasts! We even saw the elusive rhino and leopard! Every day got better and better thanks to Sir Charles and Jack. Even more impressive was that our masterfully driven Land Cruiser was stick-shift! Asante Sana, Sir Charles!
Axis accommodated 4 of us in our group of 14 that chose cheaper lodging. We opted for the budget accommodations and they were great! We stayed at Wild Nest Mara Camp and our tent came with two beds, a bathroom, and a shower. One day it rained particularly hard causing an electricity broken out. Generator power was on but would shut off after midnight. They approached me knowing I used a Cpap for sleeping. I mentioned I had a battery backup that would last 3 hours so they only shut off generator power for 3 hours. Breakfast, boxed lunch, and dinner were provided for us daily and were a mix of African offerings and tourist-friendly options. Thanks Wild Nest!
Overall, this was a trip of a lifetime that we won’t soon forget. Thanks to everyone at Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris for such a great experience with family and friends! Highly recommend this great company!
