Had a great time in Uganda they were very accommodating as our plans kept changing and the team helped me consider all options. Moses or driver was great as well, and took great care of us.

13 magical days: Gorilla's, Chimps, Lion, Leopard, and many more. Wildlife, culture and fun
5/5

We booked a trip for June 2020 with Wild Jungle Trails Safaris. Whilst it was initially an 11 day itinerary, Teresa customise it for us into a 13 day trip to make the most of our leave.

Of course, Covid meant that our original plan did not work out and we were forced to reschedule... about four times. Eventually, we made it in June/July 2022.

Throughout this whole period, Teresa was brilliant in keeping us informed and helping us rearrange our trip. She was quick to reply, answered all our questions, and ensured we had all the necessary info on Visa's, covid entry requirements, etc prior to the trip.

On arriving in Rwanda we met our guide for the next 13 days - Twaha. From there we took an absolutely spectacular tour through Kigali, Ruhengeri and then across to Uganda. We visited Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Lake Bunyonyi, Ishasha, Queen Elizabeth Park, Kibale, Murchison Falls, and finally back to Entebbe.

As well as seeing all the wildlife we wanted, we did a range of cultural trips. Whilst The Kigali Genocide Memorial was harrowing, it was deeply moving and a must see when you are in the city. We did a number of different experiences with the Batwa tribes around both Rwanda and Uganda, all a little different, and all extremely interesting and entertaining... though I can't say I'll be on the look out for banana beer again!

Whilst we had so many highlights throughout the trip, the hike, and actually seeing the Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest was absolutely spectacular; simply being in the lush primary rainforest was experience enough followed by an hour in the company of such majestic creatures.

Beyond that; Lions, Leopards, Elephant, Buffalo, Serval Cat (and her kitten - another personal favourite!), Giraffe, White Rhino, Hippo, Baboons and other monkeys, Crocodiles, Monitor Lizard, Chameleons, Topi, Hartebeest, Ugandan Kob, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Duiker, Oribi, Eagles, Vultures, Storks, Grey Crested Crane, and so many other smaller birds. Simply a stunning array of wildlife!

The selection of lodges was simply fantastic and the hospitality everywhere was first-class; we felt like royalty!

Twaha looked after us from beginning to end, always making sure that we were looked after and had what we needed. He was full of information about both the wildlife and the country, and was a good companion over breakfast and dinner even when it was five o'clock in the morning! He went out of his way to make sure we got the best we possibly could out of the whole trip.

In short, one extraordinary adventure - thank you, thank you, thank you... or should I say, weebale :)

Thank you for the amazing time in Uganda.
5/5

Wild Jungle Trails made our vacation in Uganda unforgettable. Despite lockdown and corona, the organisation in advance with Sylvia worked very well. Without any problems we exchanged all important information via mail and could start our vacation safe and relaxed. With the pickup at the airport in Entebbe started 14 eventful days with delicious food, phenomenal excursions and great accommodations. The mix of drives across the country, organized events and game drives was perfect. We were really lucky to be traveling with Twaha. He knew the most beautiful places, found every animal for us and told us a lot of interesting things. All other events (e.g. gorilla trekking, boating, community walks, etc.) were very well organized. The lodges were fantastic: beautifully furnished and the service was excellent. On top we had stunning views over national parks, lake, etc..

5/5

I just have to thank Wild Jungle trails, For the best tour out there. If you ever wanna see the best of safari i highly recommend to always ask for Twaha! We were in Murchison Falls, for the 3 day safari, and he was nothing but helpful, skilled and kind. Hes English is perfect and by far the best from all other guides that were with us. Knowledge and explaining of every animal and other cultural stuff was top notch. And i gotta mention hes driving skills, we saw my favorite (Giraffe) lions and lots of Elephants with mini van we were very comfortable. He's skills to catch and see animals is amazing. I'm just gonna say that there were 2-3 other guides that were just following him lead and advises.

Amazing tour to visit the gorillas and chimpanzees
5/5

Twaha arranged a truly remarkable trip for me to see the chimpanzees and gorillas. Even though it was very last minute, he quickly and efficiently arranged the entire tour including the trekking permits, hotels etc in less than 24 hours. I was the first to visit the gorillas at the Buhoma Gate in Bwindi and the third for the chimpanzees in Kibale.
The selected resorts were very nice local midrange places with great service and good food. In Bwindi I stayed at the Haven a great community based resort. The addition of an additional stop / night was easily arranged. Twaha is a great safe driver as well.
I was extremely happy with the overall trip from beginning to end. I highly recommend this company for locals or internationals looking for a tour guide and company.

Best Honeymoon Gorilla Trekking and Rwandan Tour Ever!!
5/5

We wanted to do something very different for our Honeymoon. We read a lot about the gorilla trekking tours and knew we had to have that on our itinerary. We found Wild Jungle Trails on this site and never imagined how easy and pleasant everything would be, from beginning to end. It all started with email exchanges with Teresa, she was very pleasant and very patient with us (given that this was our first time planning this sort of trip). She explained everything thoroughly and made the whole process really easy. We are big history buffs and really wanted a historic tour of the city, Teresa made sure our itinerary included everything we wanted, with no problem.

When the day of the safari came, Teresa arranged the pickup from the airport and gave us her direct number so that we could reach her at any time with any issues or questions, which was very nice and made us feel a lot better about the whole thing. Emma picked us up from the airport and since it was a bit late we headed straight to our historic hotel Hôtel des Mille Collines, where Teresa had an wonderful surprise waiting for us! Since it was our honeymoon Teresa arranged for the hotel to wait for us with a bottle of champagne in our room and rose pedals everywhere!! It was such a wonderful and thoughtful touch!
Later we found out that Emma was not only our ride from the airport, he was also our guide for the whole trip. He is so young we were a little worried about what we would get... Boy we were surprised!! Emma was simply fascinating, knowledgeable and amazing person to be with for 3 whole days. He is a history buff like we are, which was perfect!! The entire tour and trip to the gorillas we felt that we learned so much about his country. He was not only knowledgeable, but very flexible as well. Emma had no issues adopting the tour and overall trip to our needs, recommended places to visit with a lot of history which we totally enjoyed! We also went to a living museum where he had the actors reenact our wedding Rwandan Style! which was totally fun!!

Thanks to Teresa, Emma and Wild Jungle Trails we are already planning to come back to Rwanda! And we will definitely be calling them back!!

14 day Uganda -Rwanda Gorilla, Chimp and Wildlife Safari
5/5

We recently completed a customized tour of Uganda with a volcano hike in Rwanda all arranged by Wild Jungle Trails Safaris. Our guide, Moses, did an amazing job of finding interesting wildlife for us to see, arranging boat trips, meals, lodging and answering all of our many questions about the wildlife, culture, geography, plants, foods etc of Uganda. Possibly the most amazing thing was to watch him navigate the roads - he was a true expert in driving up and down sheer mountains on bumpy unimproved mud roads and through the most crowded congested roads in Kampala that I have ever experienced. I remember Thanking God that he was driving over and over!! The lodgings provided ranged from adequate to downright luxurious. One tip - take some form of noise reducers - they don't insulate any walls here so you hear everything anyone does in the bathroom clearly and the nearby villages play music or preachers over loudspeakers well into the night.Thank you so much Teresa the lady in the office who organised the tour with my wife!! i truly recommend Wild jungle Trail safaris
