A wonderful, fun and safe experience!
I usually don't like the idea of booking a trip with an agency but if you want to do a great Safari that's the only possible way... unless you rent your own car, drive randomly around the Serengeti and will not see anything ;-)
And a great trip it was! As I said, I did not like the idea of having everything planned but in the end our wonderful guide, Babu, was extremely flexible. I traveled alone with my son (6yrs old) and he was amazing with my kid, very understanding of his needs (like one day going to the hotel earlier to swim in the swimming pool) and a great "animal finder". Thanks to him we have been able to see 16 lioness hunting a (poor) wildbeest, a cheetah with her 4 puppies, 2 leopards, 1 rhino... all the big five in the end, but he always surprised us, never spoiling what we were going to see (sometimes he knew, the guides talk to each other through the radio in swahili and tell the others if anything cool is happening somewhere).
About the organization, that was also great. 3 days before departure I contacted Roberto because I wanted to make some changes and he was able to re-plan 2 days of our vacation... what can I say... they truly deserve 5 stars. Accomodations were great, communication was great, the guide was great, the food great...

It was our first safari so we didn't know what to expect. Now, we perfectly know what to expect from a professional one: a perfect organization from and to the airport, great accomodations both in lodges and in tented camps, a kind attention for our needs, like the vegeterian lunch boxes for me every day (completely unexpected) and a kind, well prepared guide, who has a sort of magical sight for half-hidden animals (sometimes completely hidden ones) and who knows exactly when you want to take a picture and when you've done with them without even telling him (magic again, I guess), and who cheers you up with nice and funny Tanzanian songs during the movements from and to the parks.
Africa is great and its animals (so many of them!) are breathtaking anyway, but I think that a part of our astonishment and deep satisfaction is due to the fact that everything went just perfectly, from the beginning to the end of our travel.
Thanks to our friend Riccardo: you really made our safari unforgettable...

a perfect organization for a great experience
me and my wife travelled to Tanzania last August/September. overall, our was a 5 star experience, perfect combination between our expectactions and our budget. On time communications, welcome in the Arusha airport on arrival and great experience of our guide/driver during all trip. We have been very satisfied about all the safari: tour, accomodations and experiences themselves were very interesting and satisfying. we hope to come back again to visit the part of Tanzania we could not see.

Wonderful Safari's Experience
I wrote to Savannah Explorers Ltd about 5 months ago telling them I wanted to experience a Safari and they offered me and my girlfriend a lot of trip choices. From the beginning Communication was very good and they were very kind and accurate on explaining me all the different tours.
The Tour we chose was very good we enjoyed every single minute, weather was good also and help us to have such a great experience. Our guide (Babuu) was great, he spoke Italian very well and we appreciated a lot his guide skills and knowledge.So, we don't know when but we are pretty sure about who call for a Safari Experience over there . 2. our guide knows perfectly the flora and fauna of the areas visited and illustrated everything perfectly.
