Amazing one day safari experience.
Once at Pilanesberg, after a few administrative checks, we were met by our safari guide Petrus ( I believe his name was) and we were quickly on the road. He pointed out animals and names of plants and birds, he was very knowledgeable and friendly and very witty.
To name what I can remember, we saw; elephants, giraffe, rhinos, hippos (in the far distance in the lake), a crocodile, a leopard (just caught sight of the back of it), zebras, impala, toilet seat deer thing which I can't remember the name of and loads of birds

and other smaller deer type animals. So out of the big 5 we saw 3 - which ain't bad. The lions were there but the grass was too long for us to see them (we know this because the rangers had seen them earlier in the day).The chase to see the leopard was my favourite part - as we were in a different part of the game reserve when news of a sighting came through - I loved that.
This experience has made me want to experience a full safari holiday. I will definitely visit South Africa again in the future given the opportunity and I 100% recommend Safari Bookings and Mo-Africa. Petrus was fabulous and the communication with Safari Bookings was brilliant.

Paradise, just a few hours from Joburg
Amazing day in paradise. You spend your whole day in a Caldera with more than 10,000 animals, elephants herds, hippos, lions, tons of rhinos, giraffes… all in the wild.
You get such a freedom feeling being able to roam around with a 4WD guided tour that you feel lost in time, just relaxing with these amazing animals.
Best things I did in SA, real highlights of my trip!

I have been to this Game Reserve many times on trips to SA and this was my partners first trip to a Game Park where wildlife is in its natural habitat. It is so scenic and a very pretty park to visit.

Amazing Days and Nights
Since we were staying in and flying out of Johannesburg, we chose the closer Pilanesberg over Kruger NP so we would have more time viewing animals and less time driving in the two days we had for the safari. It did not disappoint us at all. We travelled extensively through the park and especially enjoyed when our guide Shade took us to the less explored areas where there were fewer people, beautiful views, and interesting animals. In our two days which included evening and early morning exploration, we checked off all the Big 5 and so much more! We watched a pride of lions hunt and succeed in securing a meal, watched the elusive cheetah have a morning drink at the waterhole, and adorable baby elephants. I'm sure some of the larger parks may have a more wild feel and vibe, but we were very happy with our experience in Pilanesberg!

Breathtaking, absolutely love it there, it's so peaceful and calm, so much to see.
I absolutely loved this place, great get away with my family, amazing wildlife, I'm not a early morning person but getting up for the the game drives was worth it........ we had the best time!!! Would def do it again

Nature at its finest.
The accommodation is very clean, and facilities are stunning. Everything about the place is great. Had a wonderful wildlife experience. I will surely come back again!!
