Reliable, professional, best staff 100%
We just successfully reach the summit of Africa yesterday with Gosheni safaris and 15 members of an amazing team lead by Omary our main guide to reach the summit. Omary is an highly skilled guide that reached the summit for the 363 times yesterday. We felt that he truely care for our safety, he was knowledgeable about everything related to the mountain and Tanzania, he is also a devoted father of 2 and pretty much the father of most porter and lot of guide with less experience on the mountain. He truely love his job. Sam,our assistant guide on the trip was also an important part of our success with his contagious energy and help at all time. Sam is in fact a licence guide so we felt lucky to have 2 amazing guides with us. Our cook Thom was also great listening to comment about the food and adapting to our sometime modified taste because of altitude gain. We add the chance to have Kassim with us that played a central role in our confort. He was listening to us and provided anything possible to make our summit possible. He event climbed to the summit with us as a third member of the team to reach the top with us. Kassim is 24, the world belong to this amazing men and we are happy he keeps studying at the guiding school. Gosheni was more high end then other agency. For exemple, in all our acclimatisation hike, Kassim for carrying a table with 2 chairs and food and beverage. We felt vip and customer from other agency eating a basic snack on a rock look at us with envy. We had the perfect time reaching the summit but more important then the summit we reached, we add the chance to get in contact with 15 individuals that made this adventure memorable. What was meant to be a family trip for my mum's 70th birthday in 2020 got COVID delayed until 2023, but we finally made it!
We did 8 days / 7 nights covering Tarangire, Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We saw all of the big 5; lion cubs are CUTE followed very closly by three cheetahs brothers rolling around in the grass just being big cats.
What could have been a dampener on the whole trip, my mum's luggage got lost/delayed by Qatar, got turned around by the team at Gosheni - they got us into Arusha to pick up supplies before heading out in safari, and then kept chased up with the airline and managed to get her luggage delivered into one of the small airports in Central Serengeti a couple of days later - AMAZING service!
Our guide Laban was something else to behold - he is knowledgeable, passionate about the animals, environment and culture. His sharp eves meant we saw everything we had wished for and so much more. He was a pleasure to be around and made the trip even more special. He was so kind to my mum, helping her in and out the 4x4, making sure he used her phone and his binoculars to get her some spetactular photos - a true gentleman. Reading the reviews again after the trip its clear Gosheni knows how to pick their guides perfectly.
We also should mention the accomodation and their staff were all fantastic and the most friendly, welcoming people you could hope to meet. Food was great, and the packed lunches were always good - we were never hungry! Having a pinic lunch under a tree in the middle of the Serengeti with wildebeest just wandering around was a highlight.
Many, many thanks to Peter for all the planning and being so accomidating with the COVID delays, and just as many thanks to Laban for being an truly incredible guide.
We are coming back and will be booking with Gosheni again!

We had a very smooth experience with William throughout the planning of our trip. He was very patient and attentive clarifying our questions and building the itinerary according to our needs. Our guide tour who is also called William was great and very experienced. He was always willing to go above and beyond to provide an unforgettable experience to our family. This was an amazing trip.

Great safari experience, would repeat without hesitation
Great experience! Starting from the trip planning the communications (managed by William) were very clear and smooth to organize the tour and select itinerary. In the end we opted for a 5 days/4 nights route including the Tarangire, Serengeti and Lake Manyara nations parks as well as a visit to the Ngorongoro crater.
The tour itself was excellent and very punctual, here kudos to our guide Wilson who is very experienced and knowledgeable about his job and also went well beyond his duty and gave us a nice summary of country’s history. It was really a pleasure to spend time with him and we managed to see the big 5:) Accommodations were superb: great camps, an amazing farmhouse close to Ngorongoro, meals were also good and picnic lunches well organized.
In summary the experience was highly satisfying. I sincerely recommend Gosheni Safaris and to ask for Wilson as a guide.

Great safari experience with Gosheni
The safari experience was perfect from start to finish.
We booked our trip with Cindy, who is very efficient and responsive in communication. She suggested some very good accommodation for us according to our needs and booked rooms for us shortly after our request - this is super efficient considering the high demands for popular lodges during a peak season.
Our guide, Arazia, was also super professional and provided impeccable guidance during our safari trip. He is very good at spotting animals, and he is earnest about his job. To be honest, we think a continuous 5-6 day safari trip with 6-10 hours of driving each day is very exhausting, but Arazia never complained anything about his job - what he showed us was always big smiles, passion, and cheerfulness during the trip. He even washed his safari jeep every day to provide us with a clean and good-looking vehicle to start every day's trip. We are grateful to have Arazia as our guide.
Overall, we recommend booking with Gosheni, it won't go wrong booking with them.

A highly professional safari tour company
Most safari companies operating in the Serengeti area are very similar but.
Our guide had 14 years experience. He knew everybody and everything. This knowledge added to our overall experience as he (Azza) was able to explain everything we needed to know about the wildlife we were seeing.
To our surprise there is a fridge in your car offering unlimited water, bees and wine.
Azza could not do enough for us. He washed and sterilised his hands before setting out a table cloth and serving lunch. He would then tell us interesting facts about life in Tanzania. The car was cleaned inside inside every night.
After every tour, the Land Cruiser car is taken to an in house garage where twelve mechanics check the vehicle over before it is used again. Safety and reliability are key as we saw two overturned vehicles during our five day trip.
All guides must stay with you until you take off on your flight out of the park.
In summary, a five star company that are very experienced and go the extra mile. Thank you Gosheni.

7-days Kilimanjaro Hike
Thank you so much to Omar, our main guide and Bennie, our second guide with 14 porters including a chef and waiter for 2 of us. They were very thoughtful and took great care to ensure we summit successfully. The food was excellent, hot soup at every dinner, tent was comfortable. Because the hike was hard, they carried our day packs all days. They checked our health every mornings and nights. The company is very trustworthy. We also booked safari with them. We highly recommend this tour company. Also the personal toilet is a MUST, well worth every penny! Thank you for a wonderful once a lifetime hike.
