Tanzania Choice Safaris, particularly Brenda, is a reliable choice for your adventure. The planning is comprehensive and clear. Any questions are answered in a timely manner. On both adventures (Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar) that I've been on, the staff is accommodating and knowledgeable. The accommodations are comfortable and lovely. The guides are all proficient in English and communication is easy. I can recommend TCS without reservation.

Amazing experience, could not have asked for better!
We went on safari in Feb and visited Ngorongoro, Ndutu and the Serengeti. Our experience could not have been better! Our guide Ben was amazing and went above and beyond. Brenda was incredible to work with and made all logistics work easily and efficiently. Thank you so much to the team!

Fantastic, bucket list adventure
Tanzania Choice was a wonderful choice for our first trip to Africa. I wanted both a cultural experience and a safari full of wildlife and they came through. Our private guide, Leslie, had a vast knowledge of the 4 parks we visited and was such a great, fun guy. The communication from when I first reached out to Brenda for information to the day we were dropped off at the airport at the conclusion was top notch, everything was taken care of.

I researched a lot of different tour companies for my wife and I's honeymoon. It was our first time ever doing a safari and our first time ever in Tanzania. Tanzania Choice made our experience absolutely seamless. From the moment we landed, we were met by our amazing tour guide, Ben. He brought us straight to our hotel in Arusha that night, and we went on our 4-day safari after that. Ben was an amazing tour guide who genuinely loves what he does and was just as interested in finding and watching the animals as we were. All our accommodations we were brought to were comfortable and had excellent food. We especially enjoyed the Central Serengeti Bush Camp. There's no way to properly express how much we were able to see. We chose to do a shorter safari than most might but were still able to see so much in those 4 days at Ngorogoro Crater, Ndutu, and the Serengeti. Brenda was able to organize a flight from the Serengeti to Zanzibar, where we spent the remainder of our honeymoon, which no other company I researched was able to do. When we went to Zanzibar, I messaged Brenda with 1 day notice before we flew over there to see if their Zanzibar staff could bring us on some excursions. They were very easily able to organize this for us and even pick us up from the airport in Zanzibar for much cheaper than our hotel was charging for transport. The excursions in Zanzibar were awesome too and our guide in Zanzibar was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
Bottom line is that Tanzania Choice was fantastic and well worth the money we spent. If and when we ever go back to do another safari in Tanzania, we will absolutely book with them again.

The tour was absolutely positively amazing! Brenda did a super job of listening to our requests about what we wanted to do. The Safari was absolutely amazing, Ben really really knew his stuff and knew where to take us and where to find the animals. We saw the big five and then some! I got amazing pictures which I will hopefully have a chance to Post soon. My only complaint is that I am having difficulty deciding which ones I want to enlarge and frame, there are so many great ones! And then we did a cultural tour which was beyond expectations. And we got to meet some of the local people which was a highlight. The trip was really truly once in a lifetime, and I have all wonderful wonderful things to say about Brenda and our guide Ben and Tanzania choice safaris! Thank you, thank you! :-)

Magic wrapped up in friendly and knowledgeable operator
This is my first safari also my first visit to Africa. My sister did all of the booking and Tanzania Choice Safari came highly recommended.
Let’s just talk about our experience. I read that during March what we can see a lot of is the great migration of Wildebeast, so i was not expecting much
Oh was i so wrong!! our guide, Leslie, i think he is Dr. Doolittle in disguise!!
Within 3 hours of our descent to Ngorongoro crater we saw everything! Elephants, Lion, Hippo, Giraffe to name a few. Leslie is also very knowledgeable, he pointed out and explain in detail of all the animals we saw.
The highlight to this safari were
1.We saw Cheetah hunt and devour its prey
2. We saw a pack on lioness and their cubs feasting
3. Last but no least, Leslie found us a Cheetah!!! An almost impossible feat!!! But he did and we are forever happy. Told ya he is dr.Doolittle or animal
whisperer basically Magic.
Thank you Leslie and Brenda, especially in accommodating our mom as she was not able to sit for long period of time and to make me understand why so many people fall in love with Ngorongoro and Serengeti because I fall in love too!!!

Excellent in setting up the personalized tour and seeing everything I had expected from the trip.
Even though we went on this tour in the low, rainy season, it was an amazing trip. I have been on three safari tours and this was the calmest one with so much less competing safari trucks at the reserves and still being able to see all the animals and birds. It did not rain as much and the serenity of this trip is what I most remember, enjoying the various flora of the Tarangire Reserve and the Ngorogoro Crater. The guide (Ben) took great care of us from start to finish of the tour. His experience in guiding in the safari was evident in our being able to capture all the photos of the animal and in the taking in the essence and appreciating the beauty of the landscape. Thank you to Brenda and Ben for making this happen!

An Unforgettable Adventure – 5 Stars!
We did a safari organized by Tanzania Choice Safaris and from start to finish, everything was executed flawlessly.
The wildlife viewing was spectacular—we were fortunate enough to see an incredible abundance of animals, including the big five, the great wildebeest migration, and so many others. The best part about traveling in May, before the heavy travel season, was all the baby animals, baby lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, baboons, vervets, and tiny baby elephants, if they can be considered tiny.
What truly elevated our trip from great to unforgettable, though, was our amazing guide, Ben. His years of experience and knowledge of all three parks that we visited, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti, made every game drive a success. We knew when Ben took out his phone to take a photo or record a video, we were seeing something special. He knew where to go to find the animals and took the time to answer all of our questions with patience.
Behind the scenes, Brenda worked tirelessly to ensure our trip was seamless, comfortable, and safe. The attention to detail, coordination, and warm hospitality did not go unnoticed. The camps Brenda chose met our expectations for comfort while still allowing us to experience the beauty that Tanzania has to offer. She was quick to respond when we had to deal with flight changes and make some last minute changes to our itinerary.
If you are considering booking a safari, look no further. We cannot recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris and Ben enough! We are convinced that this may not have been a once in a lifetime experience.

Excellent Attention to Detail - Above and Beyond Service - Amazing Experience - HIGHLY Recommend!
The Northern Tanzania safari trail is an amazing experience, but not without its challenges. Our family of six was prepared for roughing it a fair amount on this safari, having been to many of these places some 30 years ago, but Tanzania Choice Safaris made the experience smooth and enjoyable. First, the communications with Brenda were excellent, and the advanced guidance helped us really get prepared. There was not a question we couldn't ask that didn't get a thorough response. The planning was really above and beyond. I had been a Peace Corps volunteer in the Moshi area in the 1990s and asked Brenda if there might be a way to visit my old school. Not only did they find a contact there, but our guide drove us from the airport to the school immediately upon arrival. Priceless! It is clear that the company has contacts everywhere and that's a huge advantage in Tanzania, where relationships are everything. After paying more than $500 to apply for e-visas that were not immediately forthcoming, the company reached out to Tanzania migration to successfully request expediting. Entry at the airport was simple and straight forward, though as a U.S. citizen you might need to remind the health inspectors that screen passengers at the airport that Americans do not need a Yellow Fever vaccine.
Our guide Leslie was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and detail-oriented. His English was excellent, and he was always patient and willing to help us with our rudimentary Swahili. He knew everyone at the excellent places we stayed and had no problem helping us iron out any problems we had along the way. He knew all the animal hiding spots, and we got some incredible time (in many cases ALONE with no other vehicles to be seen) with some amazing wildlife. Not only did we see all the Big Five, we saw the Ugly Five by the dozens, giraffes by the tower, monkeys by the troop, and so so many birds that many tour operators blow right by. And Leslie knew details about all of them and enjoyed explaining what they were doing, why they were building such an extravagant nest, etc. My kids learned so much. It was a once in a lifetime experience and Tanzania Choice Safaris understood that and made it special. Thank you Brenda, Leslie, and Kakacee!

Flexible, quick response, so helpful and welcoming, patient
We planned this trip very last minute (only 2-3 weeks before we were leaving!) Brenda helped us create several different itineraries in just a few days, talked with us several times via zoom. She adjusted the itineraries a few times rapidly as we learned about our options. She helped me through the payment process, provided detailed information about visas, advised about packing, helped arrange a hotel for the night after our trip ended when we were having trouble processing payment. Despite the time difference she responded very quickly to questions. Our guide Ben was very experienced and patient, never rushed us when we were watching animals. He was also following communication from other guides so we could also see so many animals. Seeing the migration in western Serengeti was amazing. I would have loved to meet Brenda, but we did happen to get to meet Kakasi who founded the company (along with Brenda) and he is also an amazing human! They truly do their best to be sure you have the best experience. We did a 10 day trip, friends told us it was longer than needed, but I could have spent more time out there. We visited Tarangiri, central Serengeti, Ngorogoro crater, western Serengeti, Arusha National Park (did a canoe safari), and a day in Arusha. Most of our time was safari, but we also had an amazing experience visiting a small village and spending some time in Arusha . Sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. Every day was EPIC. Definitely one of the best trips we have ever taken and spent time with some of the nicest people we have ever met. We are very grateful for Brenda, Kakasi and their team.
