Trip of a lifetime
5/5

The holiday was a trip of a lifetime, truly incredible. I fully appreciate how difficult it is for bush 2 city to organise all component parts, e.g. vehicle, driver, direction of travel, location of petrol stations, park permits including timings, activities, hotels etc…. We had 2 hotels let us down at the last minute (3 weeks before travelling) but Maliwaza persevered to find us alternative accommodation which is not easy for all the reasons I have detailed. The driver Nicxon was amazing, he took great pride in trying to find quiet secluded spots in the parks and wanted to find the best sightings he could for us. February was a great month to go as it was relatively quiet, I.e. a lot of the time only us viewing animals and we only had 4 short rain showers which didn’t affect anything. Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the landscapes are all so different and breathtaking. We will definitely return!

B2C was responsive, reliable and we got exactly what we expected !
5/5

We are a family of 5 (children 10, 11 & 13) - and just returned from a private 12 day safari with Bush2City. We travelled through Kenya and Tanzania (Lake Naivasha, Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Amboseli). Everything was managed perfectly (thanks Jackson). All transfers & connections were on time and all accommodation was exactly as planned - making the trip that much easier to enjoy. The guides were friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Special shout-out to Dan on our initial Kenyan leg - who was great and the perfect start to our journey. Aziz and Udis were equally great at navigating the weather and finding us the animals and adventure.

Can also recommend this as a family holiday. We stayed in lodges (rather than tented camps) and that suited us well. The chance to see animals and nature of this kind is unique. I'm sure the children learnt more on this trip than a typical beach holiday -with many stories to tell - elephants, hippos, baboons, lions, cheetahs, dik diks, maasai culture ......

As for a tour group - we can certainly recommend Bush2City as someone to go with. They are based Tanzania and privately owned. Big enough with experience to provide the right service, but small enough to want to care and look after you. They were very responsive when we were planning and very reliable when it came to the actual trip. Top marks for B2C !

Amazing African Adventure!
5/5

My wife and I talked about going to Africa over 25 years ago. It was one of those "what do you want to do before we have kids"? conversations. Well, life happens, and we never did it. For our 25th anniversary, I wanted surprise her and my now 13 year old son with a trip of a lifetime. I fly a lot so the airfare wasn't a problem, but I needed an expert to help me sort out all the differing opinions, provide local guidance and knowledge, and generally help me focus on what was important and what sounded good on paper but likely wouldn't be worth doing.

I stumbled on Bush2City through this web site, and feel like I struck gold. I was a total over-planning, paranoid pain in the ass , but Maliwaza Kazimoto could not have been more pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. She helped rework the trip 10 times, literally, to accommodate our flights, limitations and requests. She asked the right questions to help refine what we really needed to do, and gave us multiple options and costs so I could make informed decisions.

The camps that she recommended were amazing. We use the word 'tent', but it's not what you think. They are tents with zippers, but that's only so you get closer to the animals and nature. I'm not sure I've ever slept that well, even when a hippo woke us up eating his midnight snack 20 feet from where we were sleeping. Maliwaza suggested that we bring earplugs so we didn't get disturbed, but the sound of crickets and frogs at night touch something very deep inside us, and we all felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed. In fact the only disappointing camp was the 'fancy' one that she picked for us, a cabin instead of a tent. After over a week in the bush, we felt somehow isolated and slightly sad by the cabin. I was much happier the next night when we were able to watch zebras 10 feet from our tent, and sip coffee while watching them graze and play. The staff at the camps are amazing. The smiles and level of care is better than anything I've experienced anywhere in the world. These are genuinely nice people who want you to love their country, and it shows.

The guides that work with Maliwaza are top notch. We had Charles for a few days in Maasai Mara, and he was skilled at finding the animals, friendly and a good driver. He asked my son what he really wanted to see and said "OK, tomorrow is Cheetah day". We saw 4! It's not a zoo, but Charles knew where to look, was tireless in his efforts, and we really saw a ton of wildlife before flying out on a soggy early morning for Serengeti. Charles had to reroute due to closed roads, and he was a Superman in navigating those treacherous roads and finding the right airstrip.

We were met after our flight by Aziz. Aziz works directly with Maliwaza, and is a total rock star. Polite, skilled in driving and knowledge of the area, and a smooth operator. He helped us navigate not only the roads, but also gave us guidance on what to pay, how to work with locals, and had a charming personality and a quick sense of humor. We were genuinely disappointed on those nights when he was not able to join us for dinner. We really felt like Aziz cared about us, and worked his ass off to finally get us the final 'Big 5', the rhino in Ngorongoro. That was an impossible feat, but he did it. We had daily rain that turned the roads into sticky muck, but we saved one couple who lost a wheel, 2 different turtles who undoubtedly would have been speed bumps, and offered assistance any time he could. We got ourselves stuck but Aziz took off his shoes, jumped out and got us pulled out within minutes. I'm sure a lot of that good will from the other drivers was because he had helped them too.

Even after we left for home, Maliwaza and Aziz texted to make sure we made our flight and arrived him safely. They didn't have to , but it sure felt nice.

I'm not sure when or if we'll be able to come back, but I know 100% who I'll use if we do. I know there are a lot of outstanding tour operators, but I felt that the value at B2C is top notch and worth ever penny I spent. Can't ask for more than that.

Right On
5/5

I looked around the internet to find a good tour. From the beginning Jackson (owner) worked with me to put together the perfect trip. 4 parks in 10 days, 4 different lodges. He was always available for questions and we made several changes along the way. The trip turned out perfect and the guide wonderful. The lodges got nicer and nicer, the food better and better as we went. The game drives always produced a diversity of sightings and Nixon the guide had a lot of knowledge and experience. We definitely picked the right company. Everybody involved was wonderful and helpful.

A once in a life time adventure
5/5

Four of us took a 16 days safari trip with B2C and had a wonderful experience! We visited Masai Mara, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Amboseli and Lake Nakuru. It was a dream vacation for us. We stayed at luxurious tents/lodges and the food and service was great! We had three guides during the trip and they were all very knowledgeable and hard working. We were able to see the river crossing, flamingos, let alone countless of lions, elephants, and etc. I highly recommend B2C for Safari trips.

9 day migration crossing in Tanzania
5/5

We've just returned from a safari in Tanzania.  After much research, we decided to book our trip directly with Bush 2 City (B2C) Adventures.  Jackson Solomon, the Owner/Operator, provided us with a thorough and detailed plan for the 9 Day Migration Safari. Further, Jackson and his office staff were very responsive to our follow up questions and concerns via both phone and email.  You can also find  helpful YTube videos that he created on-line.

Upon our arrival in Tanzania, Jackson met us at our hotel and explained further how the entire safari program was going to work.  He advised us that the next morning we would meet Aziz, our driver and guide for the duration of the adventure.  Aziz was very knowledgeable, personable and informative.  His professionalism and experience were exemplary.

We would highly recommend B2C for anyone who is considering a safari experience.  We had the time of our lives!  They delivered on their promises and met or exceeded our expectations.  Give them an opportunity to explain their various safari programs.  You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful Safari planned perfectly by Bush2City Adventures
5/5

My 8-day safari with Bush2city Adventures through Kenya and Tanzania was an extraordinary journey that exceeded all expectations. From the meticulous planning by Jackson, our tour planner, to the exceptional guidance provided by our guides and drivers, Benson in Kenya and Edward in Tanzania, every aspect of this adventure was flawlessly executed.

Starting in Kenya, we explored the Maasai Mara National Reserve, where the abundance of wildlife left us in awe. Lions, giraffes, and countless other species graced us with their presence, and the expertise of Benson ensured we didn't miss a single moment of the action. His knowledge of the region's wildlife and landscapes was truly remarkable.

As we crossed into Tanzania and ventured into the iconic Serengeti National Park, witnessing the Great Migration was an absolute highlight. The vast herds of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains were a sight to behold, and Edward, our guide in Tanzania, added depth to this experience with his insights into the ecosystem and wildlife behavior.

Throughout our journey, the accommodations provided by Bush2city Adventures were both comfortable and immersive, allowing us to connect with the natural beauty of the surroundings. Whether in a luxurious tented camp or a lodge with breathtaking views, we always felt well-cared for and in touch with the wilderness.

Additionally, the opportunity to visit local Maasai communities and learn about their traditional way of life added a valuable cultural dimension to our safari.

In summary, Bush2city Adventures orchestrated an exceptional 8-day safari that left an indelible mark on our hearts. Jackson's expert planning, Benson and Edward's exceptional guiding, and the diverse landscapes and wildlife of Kenya and Tanzania combined to create a journey of a lifetime. I wholeheartedly recommend Bush2city Adventures to anyone seeking to explore the untamed beauty of these East African countries. It's an experience you'll cherish forever.

Honest
5/5

My wife and I traveled to Tanzania for a 7 day luxury safari. We decided to book with B2C Adventure after checking with a couple of other companies. Our representative Martha was extremely attentive and responsive to all of our needs from the moment we inquired about our safari options. She even upgraded our lodge accommodations upon my request. I was a little concerned about paying in advance for the safari but I rest assure anyone concerned about this that you can set your worries aside. We received exactly the Service that we paid for and was promised to us. In addition, would like to mention our driver Emmanuel. He was extremely nice and accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend.

5/5

We went on a 8 day safari in Tanzania with bush 2 city in September. Martha organized everything for us and answered my dozen of questions wonderfully. She explained everything very well and the hotels she chose for us were wonderful as well as the tour stops overall! Nickson as our guide along the trip, he was awesome as well! The trip was really amazing and I couldn’t recommend bush 2 city more!

6 Days Tanzania Enticing Explorations Safari
5/5

In my experience Reality rarely measures up to the Fantasy. Fortunately my 6 Days Tanzania Enticing Explorations Safari with Bush 2 City Adventure was a great exception. What an AMAZING trip! Better than my expectations. Asante Martha. Asante Nickson.
Martha’s efforts during the initial consultations helped get things off to a smooth well-coordinated beginning. Martha worked with me while reviewing multiple options in terms of length of stay, locations to include, and various levels of luxury and budget. Ultimately, it was Martha’s commitment on behalf of Bush 2 City Adventure to customize my experience which sealed the deal. She even managed to smoothly incorporate a last minute request for shopping.
It was Nickson’s work during the execution phase that elevated the experience to meet and surpass my fantasy excellent decision-making while driving. Nickson effectively managed to avoid driving risks (axle-deep in mud. It takes a lot of skills to be a good Tour Guide: Knowledge of the multiple trails within multiple national parks, game spotting ability, good people skills, knowledge of the various wildlife in east Africa, and, punctured tire) that other drivers could not. Despite spending long days on dusty, dusty roads Nickson showed up every morning with the Land Cruiser cleaned inside and out.
AN EXCELLENT VACATION.
