It was an experience of a life time and a unforgetable experience
5/5

Every element of the trip exceeded our expectations. However, what makes Viva Safari so special are the employees. We have never encountered a warmer , more helpful and kinder staff. Nothing was too much. There only goal was to please us. Each stage of the way, from the pick up in Johannesburg, to the meals, bush walk, drives in the game reserve, etc, everything was very well planned and executed. Going with Viva Safari allows you to sit back and have an incredible time. They take full responsibility and all you have to do is enjoy yourself.

Exciting bushadventure
5/5

Everything from the first transport at the Johannesburg international Airport where I arrived from Cape Town to the transfer from Marc´s Treehouse to J-burg went perfect. I am impressed how well they organized everything each night so everyone know exactly where to go and how to prepar for the following day. All drivers and guides worked very hard and showed there passion about the wild animals and nature. Within one week I made 2 educational bushwalks, 1 afternoon and spotlight drive in Balule reserve with a braai (barbeque), 1 game drive in Balule, 3 full days in Kruger NP, 1 visit to a Rehab center where I could feed a vulture and meet a rhino calf, 1 afternoon drive in Tshukudu reserve where I discussed poaching antipoaching and antipoaching with the nature guide, and had Close ups with lions, white rhinos and cape buffaloes. The last morning in Kruger so much action was within 1 km. Lions, nearby the large waterhole where elephants, baboons, kudus, giraffes, impalas and even a white rhino came to drink and nearby a leopard was hiding. I only wish it would be lunchboxes for Kruger or (If the camp Satara where we had luch/one day a take away so we could go off directly) could organize a mobile service. Booth accomodations 1 night in Tremisana lodge and 5 in Marc´s Tree House are excellent with boot the environment food and also very nice with Daily Close contacts with the wonderful nyala anthelopes at the Tree House camp. This was my 3 thrd South Africa journey and I have been out tracking wild endangered animals since the age of 15. Have met in the wild snow leopards, jaguars, bengal tigers, lowland gorillas, white sharks and more fellows.

Enjoyable!
4/5

Communication during the planning phase was excellent. Less than a 12-hour turnaround time (allowing for time zone differences). Instructions on pick-up location, what to pack, what to wear, etc was all very detailed. All the drivers we had were pleasant to deal with and confident regarding what they had to deliver. Professional yet friendly.

An amazing experience - better than expected !
5/5

We had booked a 3night/4 day safari, where we stayed at Tremisana Lodge the first night and at Katekani Tented Lodge for the last 2 nights.
The information, service, BBQ and guides at Tremisana were nice, but not anything extraordinary. We did see some wildlife but not that much. The food was nothing to write home about, but the BBQ under the tree was magnificent ! and a bit scary, which was great ! The Laba was nice, with a nice view of a man-made watering hole. The service from the kitchen personale wasn't as friendly as one would expect, they seemed a bit stressed/tired. We switched the morning walk with a private safari drive because we had to children under the age of 16. All the guides was very flexible and knowledgeable and sweet.

The stay at Katakana Tented Lodge was amazing ! The hosts was the sweetest couple, the food was out of this world, the camp was so silent, well kept, untouched and secluded - fantastic ! The tents were even more amazing, and they exceed our expectations in every way - they are indescribably unique and amazing ! A must see - and we won't say anymore, they must be experienced ! They stay was so nice, that we extended our stay one day extra :-)

Incredible experience we will never forget!
5/5

We did the 4day-Lodge/Treehouse Safari.
Arrived at Tremisana with a warm welcome from Pretty. Our rooms were very comfortable and relaxing! Meals were excellent, especially enjoyed the braai! Bongani, Rex and Philip were our guides during our stay. They all made us feel welcomed and safe (especially on the bush walk!) Then to Marc's Treehouse and lodge. Greeted by Victor and his contagious smile! Off to Kruger Park in the morning. Saw 4 of the Big 5. Maynard our driver was amazing. We felt as though he did all we could to make sure we saw as many animals as we could.
The service we received was amazing. Truly enjoyed the staff at both locations. All very friendly and made you feel so "at home" and felt they went above and beyond. We had left an electronic device in the shuttle on our trip back to Johannesburg. After an email to Viva Safaris, we were told they found the device and delivered to our hotel the next morning.
Viva Safaris was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.

Little piece of Home
5/5

Fast. Efficient. Knowledgeable. They were very responsive to my contact, informative on my stay, and made a new place feel like home. Tour guides were excellent and gear your rides to what the visitors want to see. I did a bush walk and wanted to soak in the morning sun rays while watching the hippos. Literally just sat and watched. Most magical moment of my life to date. The food and accommodation was beyond what I could imagine and that was due to the kindness of all the employees. They made me feel like I was part of their family as they had enormous hearts in making sure I was always comfortable. I would recommend this tour group to my friends and family.

5/5

From the minute I arrived I was really welcome that couldn't have done any more. I lived like a queen! The Safari is brilliant with skilled, knowledgeable guides that could find the animals so well. I saw so many rare experiences from two lions so close to us... such loud roars!! giving is an amazing experience and giraffe fighting each other.... elephants having a bit of a tussle.... stroking a cheetah in the wild while he was eating his dinner.... rhinos walking past us.... it goes on and on.... I felt perfectly safe at all times... absolutely brilliant!!

Unforgettable safari experience
5/5

Thanks to vivasafaris we had a splendid week of safari in greater Kruger. Booking and e-mail contact went really smoothly. Every question was answered quickly. On arrival in Johannesburg we had a delay and missed our shuttle organised by vivasafaris. It only needed a simple phone call to hq of vivasafaris and a new shuttle was arranged. Our stay in Katekani tented lodge was unforgettable ! The hosts and staff did everything to make our stay unforgettable. Day trips and safari excursions were organized very well. Drivers and guides were super friendly , motivated and well educated.
We really enjoyed our first travel to Kruger and would recommend Vivasafaris to everybody who is looking for an unforgettable and well organised Kruger safari .
