An Unforgettable, Awe-inspiring, “Amazing” 5 day Masai Mara + Amboseli Safari
Our 5 day Amboseli + Masai Mara safari with Amazing Memories Safari was nothing short of what its company name suggests. We organized our trip with agent Brian, who was thorough, honest and timely in all his responses. He was very patient with us throughout planning, taking account of our timeline and preferences. The tone was set for an incredible experience before even arriving in Kenya. We felt very comfortable greeting Brian and his team at our hotel in Nairobi on Day 1, and we were even gifted a souvenir before we started the safari.
We were paired with our driver Joseph for the first part of our journey from Nairobi to Amboseli. Joseph was phenomenal - an excellent driver and knowledgeable guide. There were several instances where he positioned our jeep at just the right angle so that we could have the best views of wildlife. He was patient when we wanted to stay at certain locations. He always listened to the radio to make sure we were able to get to the best viewings.
Amboseli itself was a treasure - witnessing large elephant herds traverse the landscape was awe-inspiring. Lodging at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge was amazing. All meals were prepared well. Our final experiences in the park was at the airstrip, where we embarked on a 1 hour morning flight to the Mara. The flight was equally impressive - flying over seemingly endless Kenyan savannah and landscape was beautiful.
The second leg of our journey was in the Masai Mara with our driver Robert, who was just as amazing as Joseph. We were able to see multiple lions, cheetahs, and leopards, amongst all the other beautiful animals in the Mara. Robert was extremely diligent on the radio and phone to ensure we had the best opportunities to see wildlife.
Our trip was capped off in the final hours by witnessing hundreds, possibly thousands, of wildebeests cross Sand River from Kenya to Tazania as they continued their migratory cycle. As we had come to expect from Amazing Memories Safari, our jeep was positioned in just the right location to see the fabled river crossing. Driving back to our lodging Sentrim Mara Lodge, which was just as great as our lodging in Amboseli, Robert surprised us with an impromptu sundowner.
All in all, we could go on at great lengths about the praise and positive feedback we can give this experience and Amazing Memories Safari as a company. We simply could not imagine a more authentic and genuine safari experience from beginning to end, especially at this price point. We’ve attached a few pictures from our trip, but know they are simply that - Highlights. The memories we’ve made soaking in Kenya’s greatest gems in the Masai Mara and Amboseli simply cannot be expressed in a few paragraph review. You need to live it yourself - and we could not envision a more ideal experience than we had with Amazing Memories Safari, agent Brian, driver Joseph and driver Robert.

Our 9-day/8-night safari in Kenya was absolutely incredible, thanks to this outstanding agency-Amazing Memories! From the very beginning, Nevill's communication was prompt and detailed, ensuring all our questions were answered and our trip perfectly tailored.
The itinerary was exceptionally well-planned—balanced, relaxed, yet packed with amazing wildlife encounters. Thanks to our knowledgeable and passionate guide Douglas, we successfully spotted the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo) and Special Five and so much more! His expertise and enthusiasm made every game drive exciting and educational.

Amazing Memories in Kenya
Our 9-day, 8-night Kenya safari was absolutely perfect! The first stop was Amboseli National Park. Though we didn’t get to see Kilimanjaro, we spotted cheetahs playing on the grassland. Our driver drove right up to an African elephant, letting us watch it up close.
Sweetwaters was even more of a pleasant surprise. We not only encountered black rhinos at close range but also saw lively baboons. The best hotel of our trip was right here in Sweetwaters which called Sweetwater Maisha Camp.
In Samburu we have seen a mother Leopard drinking water with two babies.
The flamingos along Lake Nakuru were like a pink cloud. We were lucky enough to see them take flight and even a double rainbow—it was such great fortune.
The boat tour on Lake Naivasha was a unique experience too. We watched fish eagles catch their prey and hippos resting in the water. We also went ashore for a short hike, getting up close to giraffes, wildebeests, buffalos, zebras, and other animals.
The final stop, Maasai Mara, was the highlight. On the first day, a lioness rested right beside our vehicle. Early the next morning, a male lion walked straight past the back of our car. Every day brought new discoveries.
The accommodations were comfortable throughout, and the pace of the trip was just right. This journey has become the most precious memory in our hearts.

Spectacular family safari with Amazing Memories Safaris — 5 stars!
I just returned from a safari with my parents, and Amazing Memories Safaris lived up to their name in every way. From the very first message, our coordinator/project manager Ana was outstanding—organized, responsive, and genuinely caring. She tailored everything to our pace, kept us updated, and handled small tweaks along the way with ease. It made the whole experience feel effortless so we could simply enjoy being together as a family.
Our driver/guide David was phenomenal. Highly experienced, incredibly observant, and unfailingly professional, he turned great game drives into once‑in‑a‑lifetime moments. He was the first to find a pride of sleeping lions, calmly guided us to a cheetah actively hunting antelopes, and somehow positioned us perfectly for the most breathtaking wildebeest river crossing I’ve ever seen. He drove patiently and steadily even on uneven roads, always prioritizing safety and comfort—something my parents especially appreciated. David was flexible when we wanted to linger or adjust plans, yet he kept everything smooth and respectful to wildlife and other visitors. His knowledge, timing, and quiet confidence made every sighting feel special.
