The accommodations and vehicle provided by company were well quality and cozy.
Derrick as a guide and friend its a wonderful person. Whit his big knowledge we had experienced much more then we expected.
His approach is individual , he was much helpful and happy to show us things not mentioned in tour info.
he enjoyed show us his country .
That's the things makes him great guide and great person to met.

Incredible!
My long-time dream was to go to Uganda and of course I couldn't choose a better agency to do it. From the beginning everything was easy to make the changes we wanted and to be able to make an unforgettable honeymoon.
The best thing about the trip, in addition to getting to know Uganda, its people and culture, its landscapes and many animals, was getting to know Derrick, our guide, a discovery. What a kind, fun and attentive man, undoubtedly the best guide we could have.

Great and trusted tour operator in Uganda
We did a 7D/6N Safari with Home To Africa and fell in love with Uganda!
Our guide, William, was very friendly, helpful, flexible and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the safari with him.
The accomodations we had in Kibale (1N), Queen Elizabeth (2N), Bwindi (2N) and Lake Mburo (1N) did never feel like being budget accomodations (as stated in the itinerary) and were excellent, far more than we expected and nothing at all to complain about. Food was very good as well.
The optional tour in Kibale (Crater Lake) was very good. However, we would not go for the cultural tour in Bwindi again.
When time and money allows, we will definitely come back - hopefully again with William as guide :)

Professional, competent and available
I have just come back from a wonderful trip to Uganda with my son and we still have in our heart the wonderful sensations that the Pearl of Africa was able to give us. We experienced fascinating things like the Murchison Falls or the close encounter with chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, but the most exciting experience was definitely the visit to the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable. The hour spent in the company of these gentle cousins of ours is something we will never forget. To organize the trip we evaluated a whole series of local operators and in the end we decided to rely on Home to Africa Tours and Travel: a truly apt choice. The organization was perfect and the support provided to us by Hedmond was punctual and competent in suggesting us the most convenient itinerary and extremely helpful and patient in listening to and satisfying our every need. Professionalism and competence
It was a very rewarding and fantastic tour with Home to Africa. Everything was extremely well organised, and both drivers/guides, Emir in Rwanda and Vianney in Uganda are very knowledgeable, communicative, professional and above all, very friendly and nice. They made the whole trip even more pleasant. It was a wonderful travel, and for sure I will get in contact with Home To Africa again the next time I will travel to Eastern Africa. Thanks!

The trip of a lifetime
Our tour of Uganda was incredible, thanks to our wonderful guide, Derrick. The booking process was easy, and the tour itself was perfect. Some busy days, some relaxing days, and the right amount of activity and excursions. It was nice to tailor make the package to suit our schedule. Derrick knew so much about the animals and about Uganda. It was clear that his goal was to make our experience the very best that it could be. Our time was incredible and we saw so many animals, including the big 5. Top notch service. All of the accommodations were lovely and clean and had delicious meals. The car was comfortable and great for the game drives. Would 100% recommend this tour company.

Trip of a lifetime!
We had an amazing 10 day trip with Karim. We spent time in Murchison Falls (our favorite), trekked the chimps and gorillas-loved them both! Did a couple of boat rides-both amazing! The staff at all accommodations were very friendly and welcoming. We loved hearing Karim teach us about his home country-Uganda. Overall, a great trio and ask for Karim to be your guide.

Amazing experience & Great Staff
We had a great experience with Adam and Home to Africa. The communication from Home to Africa was great and we felt very looked after the whole time. Our Tour Driver Adam was very knowledgeable of the local surroundings and had a great passion for his work. Adam went above and beyond for us and was very accommodating and worked very hard to get all our needs met including when we fell ill and had to go to the doctors, Adam took care of everything and rearranged things for us so we wouldn't miss out on anything. And Adam also helped us out after hours after our tour had finished, our flight got rescheduled unexpectedly and we were left at the airport but Adam came to the rescue and arranged airport transportation and accommodation for us even though he didnt have to. We found all the accommodation staff to be very friendly and welcoming too. The food was always delicious and there was always plenty of food all day. We would highly recommend this tour and this tour group to everyone and we are very Thankful that we chose Home To Africa and thankful for all of Adams hard work too.

Great company to see Uganda!
We loved spending 6 days with Benon our tour guide from Home to Africa. We got to see so much wildlife and see so much of Uganda. All of the camps we stayed in were super nice with good food and the best service. If you are hesitant about this company don’t be. They will definitely take care of you at a reasonable price and show you the beauty of Uganda!
